Has anyone tried the bakewell oats in the pinch of nom website? I was thinking of trying them but worry about wasting my HEXs on stuff I don't enjoy

Groovee · 08/08/2017 21:25

@NeverEnoughSleep1 I blitzed my oats last week and they were more cake like. I don't like almond but my friend loves them. I did it with a mango yoghurt last week and it was so yummy.

Bake for 30 mins on 180 for weetabix x

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 08/08/2017 21:29

Wow they look great groove how did you make the mango ones with oats? Might give them a try tomorrow

Groovee · 08/08/2017 21:38

40g oats, blitzed them in the food processor, 90g of mango yoghurt (think I used a Greek style muller), 1 egg, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a teaspoon of sweetener. Blitzed it all together and baked for 30 minutes in 2 ramekins x

ibuiltahomeforyou · 08/08/2017 21:44

I was slimmer of the week!!

Only lost two lbs but clearly this was a slow loss week in my group.

It's the second time I've been slimmer of the week in three weeks so I feel really proud of myself.

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 08/08/2017 21:49

Thank you groove I no what I'm going to try tomorrow Grin

Trills · 08/08/2017 22:29

Went to the cinema tonight and had grapes and coke zero while everyone else had popcorn. It was fine. Popcorn's not that great anyway.

Weigh in tomorrow but I'm not expecting much after the weekend I had.

PositiveAttitude · 08/08/2017 22:45

Good luck with the interview tomorrow, Em

Well done losers and keep going to those who have maintained or gained. Flowers

I took curried loaf to taster and it was a mega hit. I bloody love the stuff!! Hot or cold, its easy cheap and very filling and all free - what more could you want?? Grin
recipe if anyone wants it

I was also awarded woman of the year!!! Couldn't believe it. I feel very humbled. I love my group well, tonight I do Wink
Plus I received my official certificate for becoming a full member of the AAT, so I now have letters after my name for the second time in my life.
I have a lovely glowing feeling tonight. Grin

Not so good was the weigh-in. A STS for me, but it could have been far worse, so back to it tomorrow and aim for a loss of some sort next week.

TurquoiseOwl · 08/08/2017 22:55

@PositiveAttitude - well done ❤️

Trills · 08/08/2017 23:03

Woman of the Year!

What is AAT?

PositiveAttitude · 09/08/2017 07:17

Thanks. AAT is an accounting body and I have recently completed the qualifications to become a certified accountant.

monkeytoad35 · 09/08/2017 07:32

Hello everyone I joined a SW group 3 weeks ago. I didn't go last week as I was on holiday and still managed a 1/2 lb loss Smile

Groovee · 09/08/2017 07:48

Whoop whoop PA.

Trills walkers sunbites popcorn is 2.5-3 syns depending on flavour.

Well done ibuilt on your loss and SoW.

Welcome Monkey x

FoofFighter · 09/08/2017 07:55

How fab PA :) Flowers

Think we are nominating this week, but not having the actual thing til two weeks today as our regular cons is away and she doesn't want to miss it.

I think I know who I shall nominate, am I right it's not particularly on weight loss is it? I am going to nominate the person who seems to offer most tips etc in group. I don't really know them all this only being month 3. SO figured that was a good way to choose!

Off to WI this morning, wish me luck.

Groovee · 09/08/2017 07:55

It appears that I have lost 4 stone since last June! 😱 I missed realising last night. Will need to get some photos!

Groovee · 09/08/2017 07:57

Good luck Foof.

I nominated someone who comes regularly despite what life throws at her and is always cheery and might not have lost the most but has good ideas and encourages others.

OwlinaTree · 09/08/2017 09:42

We had woman of the year last night, went to a lovely woman who had just had a baby. She came to class all through her pg and is back now with the baby.

Well done pa!

ALemonyPea · 09/08/2017 10:32

Well done PA,p, on both accounts!

Woman of the year is anyone in the group who has been an inspiration for you. The same person will win it in our group, she wins every award. She's amazing and was my inspiration.

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 09/08/2017 11:07

Does anyone no if all diet drinks are free? Tesco do there own orange zero and similar to Dr Pepper zero but can't find them online

latedecember1963 · 09/08/2017 11:20

So much happens here overnight! Some fab results
Hope the interview goes well today, Em.
PA, congratulations on your SW and accountancy successes. 🎆 I'm going to give the curry loaf a try.
Groovee, 4 stones. What an achievement!
I avoid pizza too. The Dr Oetchar mushroom pizza I like is 42 syns. It might be a treat if I ever get to target.
Feeling fed up after WI this morning. I've only lost 1/2 lb after a week of being really careful and on plan. Had lots of fruit, veg, salads, jacket potatoes, home made soup etc and not bought biscuits, cakes, ice cream, crisps etc. Really wanted to shift the 2lbs I put on on holiday. Why does it go on so easily and take so much effort to lose? I actually feel tearful which is totally ridiculous. I now need to clean the caravan through before driving home which will take my mind off feeling sorry for myself.

FoofFighter · 09/08/2017 12:49

Maintained, and perfectly happy with that :)

Our cover cons was a member from my old group who has since started up herself - I would have gone to her group but this one is better for time and location for me - it was great to see her and she gave me a lovely hug. I doubt she realises that she is my inspiration :) anyway was great to get a fresh outlook, not that there is anything amiss with my own cons, but fresh eyes to it all I guess :)

Losingthewill8 · 09/08/2017 16:19

Hi can anyone tell me if they follow 'pinch of nom', when it gives a recipe, for example, for the beef ragu fettuccine, do I need to then fill my plate with extra veg or is it all contained within? Thank you.

Groovee · 09/08/2017 16:40

Well done Foof.

If the extra veg is about 1/3rd speed then I don't add anymore. But if it's just a carrot/onion then I would add a salad or some frozen veg which is easy to cook.
