Looks lovely very Basin. Good luck for Monday.

Made my own cous cous and stirfried veg with Seabass tonight. Then used 20g of blitzed oats to make baked oats. It came out very muffin like and was very tasty.

Hi Ladies!
Not posted since the last thread but Im a long time lurker! Everyones doing so well! I'm after a bit of inspiration at the mo' and was wondering if any of you used instagram and if there were any decent accounts to follow? Mainly looking for folk on their own journey rather than pinch of nom type accounts!
TIA

Groovee · 02/08/2017 20:50

TurquoiseOwl · 02/08/2017 20:57

How much has everyone lost in total?

Thebluedog · 02/08/2017 20:58

1/2 lb off today at weigh in, really chuffed as I've had a 4 day weekend away with my dh and drank my body weight in vodka Smile I was good food wise but abused my syns in the form of alcohol

Thebluedog · 02/08/2017 21:00

Talking of baked oats, I mash banana up and measure my oats as a heB, flatten them to look like cookies (yeah right), and put some frozen fruit on top. I then bake them on greaseproof paper, in the oven for about 29 mins. They keep for a few days and are a great 'on the go' breakfast.

Thebluedog · 02/08/2017 21:01

20 mins not 29 Grin im not that specific

FoofFighter · 02/08/2017 21:28

Instagram account is loulaw73

I have phases of posting then I forget about it Grin

Turquoise I've lost 23lbs in 11 weeks

Trills · 02/08/2017 22:24

5lb off today! Really didn't expect it to be that much.

LavenderRains · 02/08/2017 22:26

turquoise I've lost 5 stone and half a pound Grin every half counts!! I started in October.

Trills · 02/08/2017 22:30

Lemony I've also heard good things about those pasties. Do you have a link?

Basin I think recommendations of things not to bother with are definitely useful too - don't want to waste my time on a rubbish recipe.

One of the women in our group is getting nominated for thingy of the year as well - I've not been there long enough to see her progress but she has lost something like 7 stone.

LavenderRains · 02/08/2017 22:45

Well done trills !!Star

ALemonyPea · 02/08/2017 22:48

Here you go Trills, and well done on the loss.

Lav, I've lost 7 stone 1.5lb, or 99.5lb. Going to try lose a further 7lb after my holidays.

ALemonyPea · 02/08/2017 22:50

Sorry, it was Turquoise not Lav who asked about weight loss amounts Blush

Groovee · 02/08/2017 23:08

I've lost 3st 2.5lb in 30 weeks.

IvorHughJarrs · 02/08/2017 23:34

I've lost 26lb in 11 or 12 weeks (I've lost count because of holidays and stuff)
I made a lovely chickpea and lentil dhal yesterday. We are usually big meat eaters but loved this, so much so that we had the leftovers today. A good day overall but need to get a head start because weekend has just got busier as friends have invited us to a corporate entertaining thing which involves a 3 course meal and free drinks on Saturday (following my lunch out on Friday and preceding the fish and chips on Sunday!) I'll probably stagger through these two weeks then never go out again till Christmas Grin

TurquoiseOwl · 03/08/2017 00:00

So amazing Shock so inspirational!

Trills · 03/08/2017 08:20

Thanks for the link Lemony :)

FaithAgain · 03/08/2017 09:40

Turquoise I lost 3st 4lb to get to target, from October to June. Went from a BMI of 31 to 25, dress size 16 to 10-12. Groovee I love following your Facebook, the difference is amazing!

Groovee · 03/08/2017 11:03

Aww thanks Faith. I had a photo come up on my memories and I'm like wow! I look so old.

Boatsnack · 03/08/2017 11:16

Forgive me fellow slimming worlders for i have sinned 😣 I have completely fallen off the wagon, I tried to draw a line and start again yesterday I was so good right up till bedtime then I ate a wispa gold a handful of starburst and 2 bourbon biscuits. I didn't really enjoy any of it either. I'm really struggling with the holidays and the awful weather, can't go anywhere or do anything.

I'm not doing enough exercise so I can't sleep and then I'm tired the next day which perpetuates the vicious circle. I can't wait until the schools go back and I can get back into a routine, roll on the 22nd of August.

ALemonyPea · 03/08/2017 11:52

I had a week like that last week Boat, it's a real struggle isn't it. Good til tea time, then binge binge binge.

I've been good this week so far, apart from two peanut butter biscuits yesterday. Must try harder today as scales have not budged.

FoofFighter · 03/08/2017 11:54

Can't wait for my lunch to be ready!!
Grilled crispy bacon, tomato and salad leaves in a ww wrap with a pile of chilli garlic butternut squash chips (2 syns for a tap oil)
