Baked oats is a great shout, I'm going to try something like that for the next one!

Groovee · 01/08/2017 19:21

Lost a wee half pound.

OwlinaTree · 01/08/2017 19:26

Well done groovee! I lost a lb, don't know how that's possible, but I suppose last Tues was a while ago!

We have taster week next week and woman of the year, should be fun. I know who I'm nominating, so fx she gets picked. Has everyone got that next week?

Groovee · 01/08/2017 19:35

Not heard anything about woman of the year yet.

ibuiltahomeforyou · 01/08/2017 19:44

Owlina yes, we have our woman of the year winner announced next week.

The lady I voted for in my group has lost 13 stone Shock

Trills · 01/08/2017 19:51

Well done Groovee :)

I am over my syns for the week. But only by 10. So I may still be OK. Weigh-in number two tomorrow.

Making risotto with bacon and mushroom for dinner, and having a speed salad starter because I love alliteration.

user95 · 01/08/2017 20:44

Another good day on plan for me, managed to resist seaside donuts and instead opted for some crayfish, prawns, muscles and cockles lathered in vinegar, was lovely!! SW chips for tea (hardly ate all day so needed carbs!). 11 syns used so far. Feel amazing and so happy that I resisted Grin

Trills · 01/08/2017 20:59

Well done :)

user95 · 01/08/2017 21:07

Thank you so much. How has your day been? Flowers

Also, thanks for the PP who mentioned the SlimIt app, I've downloaded it and it's great, just a bummer about the ad's Hmm

PositiveAttitude · 01/08/2017 22:12

A Maintain for me this week, but that's fine as this week has included a meal out and very off plan for DD4's birthday and a visit to our absolutely luscious chocolate island for a mahooosive tray full of yummies and a refillable which I made the most of bowl of melted chocolate to dip it all in.

Woman of the year for us next week too and I have been nominated!! Shock I hate the standing up and giving your story bit! I have done it before for other awards and i always seem to be up against people with a real sob story, so mine is a bit bleugh in comparison. Last year the winner of the woman of 2016 was the lady who had PUT ON 9 stone in a year!!! (our group is a little weird!!!) She was voted for because she gave this rousing speech about how crap she felt about her weight gain and i think everyone felt sorry for her - she hasnt been seen since! Hmm Grin

Off to London for nanny cuddles tomorrow. I can't wait! I have had a lovely week so far. I took the week off of my "employed" work so that I could catch up on my "self employed" work. Hmm

JaceLancs · 01/08/2017 22:34

Lost 2.5 this week - which for me is a good week
I'm finally down into the next stone level which feels like a real achievement
DS lost 3.5 this week (he is a target member) and if he loses next week will have to reset his goal - lost 5 stone in total

IvorHughJarrs · 01/08/2017 23:03

I put on 1lb this week but that was a merciful relief, could have been worse. Unfortunately I have responded by thinking fuck it and eating crap this evening. Oh well, tomorrow is another day and I am going to restart my food diary.

Unfortunately I have a busy couple of weeks coming up with lots of visitors and going out as our local festival thingie, Lytham Proms, is on from tomorrow to Sunday so that will be tough as visitors here always want fish and chips! Next week is the local gin festival plus two meals out. My social life is all or nothing!

JaceLancs · 01/08/2017 23:23

I'm just across estuary from you Ivor - well done - even a pound is heading in right direction

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 02/08/2017 01:01

I made this for dinner tonight if the pinch of nom website and it was really good I added a chopped chilli for extra spice

5lbs to go to my next award, and I won the raffle too :D

Groovee · 02/08/2017 12:56

Well done Foof x

TurquoiseOwl · 02/08/2017 13:19

@FoofFighter - well done! Smile

B1rdonawire · 02/08/2017 14:13

Stayed the same this week, which I am counting as a win, because I've been on hols for most of it and there may have been marshmallows, lots of marshmallows My head is back in the game now, trying to drink loads of water as I seemed to fall out of that habit far too easily when away.

LavenderRains · 02/08/2017 14:14

Well done losers. I surprisingly lost one pound which is good considering the hospital cafe food I've been eating.! Must be the stress of dad being ill that's done itConfused
I've made a wholesome vegetable soup for dinner, it's cold and peeing down here so I shall snuggle up with my homemade soup (& wish it was a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow)Grin

ALemonyPea · 02/08/2017 16:44

Well done losers!

PA, I remember your woman of the year story from last time. Funny who gets voted for isn't it. I reckon the same person who won last year will win this year, she is fab and such an inspiration, and also been through hell the past few months, so well deserved.

I made a cheese and onion pasty today using the Pinch of Noms recipe. It was amazing and I. Insist everyone tries it. The variety of syn free fillings you could use would be endless. Already planning what one to make tomorrow haha.

FoofFighter · 02/08/2017 16:56

Lavender, how is he doing? Is he still admitted?

Lemony, I've been meaning to do those for a while, I'd like to do a cheese ando nion one, a minced steak one, a sweet one maybe some mincemeat, a chilli beans one might be nice. I'll get some ideas from our cornish pasty shop for fillings and post them up tomorrow :D they do weird ones.

ALemonyPea · 02/08/2017 17:09

Oooooo a mincemeat one would be too addictive for me. Love sweet mince pies at Christmas. Might do bolognese one next time I have leftover bolognese. Going to do ham and cheese tomorrow.

BasinHaircut · 02/08/2017 17:19

Well done foof!

I've been quiet this week but I am on plan. Just been busy and preoccupied. Good news is that I've got a breast screening appointment for Monday so hopefully not too long to wait to hopefully put my mind at rest.

Dinner last night was Lebanese chicken from the slimmingeats website and it was a bit blah tbh. I much prefer my coriander and lime tandoori one so I don't think we'll be having that again. It was nice but not nicer than the other one and so similar.
