Thanks lemony really hungry tonight and tempted to snack but sat with an apple instead!

ibuiltahomeforyou · 31/07/2017 22:21

Weigh in for me tomorrow - I only need half a pound off to get my stone award.

Also, I have my four weeks of body magic to claim my bronze award, do I need to hand them in or give them to the consultant?

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 31/07/2017 22:57

What's body magic? Never heard of it but seen it advertised on the app

user95 · 31/07/2017 22:59

Neverenough it's making small steps to fitness and wellness. Walking a short amount of miles, walking the dog, getting of the bus a step early etc...

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 31/07/2017 23:21

Oh thank you user never heard of it from my consultant might have to have a look online

FaithAgain · 31/07/2017 23:30

Never you should have a booklet with your pack? There's info online too. I've done my bronze, silver and gold but not been well enough to do my platinum.

FaithAgain · 31/07/2017 23:31

ibuilt I showed my consultant and the lady in the shop got me the certificate and sticker and I was presented with them at group.

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 01/08/2017 00:02

I don't remember seeing it in my pack faith but I'll have another look tomorrow hopefully I just missed it

FoofFighter · 01/08/2017 07:43

Can I just recommend the app Slimit?

Very useful and tailored to what eating plan you're on, ww sw etc

I've set mine up to put two hexb choices as I often do sp days

It's handier than lifeline online, wish the sw app would do this! You can track your free and speed too by entering it with a 0 syn value if you want to log everything

I use slimit too.

ibuiltahomeforyou · 01/08/2017 08:34

@FoofFighter that is a great recommendation, I've just downloaded it! The SW app is dreadful isn't it?!

FoofFighter · 01/08/2017 09:50

Yup I feel we deserve a better app after all we are paying!
The website not much better, badly laid out, have to go through a few pages to get to what you want

caremummy · 01/08/2017 11:20

Had to revert to cal counting this week 🙃 Bc I'm in a catered place. Next week though will be speedy though, I miss big plates of veg 🥗

caremummy · 01/08/2017 11:20

I agree abt the app

Groovee · 01/08/2017 11:34

I rarely use the app. I just use mobile web.

Weigh in today.

mayathebee · 01/08/2017 13:24

Hi, can I join please. Had a go at SW last year but got so busy doing my PGCE I didn't manage to stick to it. I'm trying again and hoping I can get into good eating/exercise habits over the summer before I start my new job in September. I never manage to get to class so I'm using my books to follow it at home but I could use a bit of online support.

I have been following the eating plan for 2 days and I have also dusted off my Zumba and Pilates dvds after doing no exercise for years months. I ache but I feel better for doing something. I have about 4.5 stone and I'd like to get most of it off before my 40th in 18 months.

Groovee · 01/08/2017 14:09

Welcome Maya x

ibuiltahomeforyou · 01/08/2017 14:11

-3lbs off this week, taking me to 10.5 and getting my Club 10 after seven weeks!

It was buffet week this week, some of the concoctions were Sad - nothing was labelled so it was pretty hit-and-miss and I would like to know who has cooked the food so I can decide based on hygiene I did a quiet chortle when one lady was explaining at length about her cheesecake made with egg, sweetener, mullerlights, peppermint extract, food colouring etc etc and one of the sweet old dears piped up 'that sounds horrific!'

The whole buffet was cleared in about nine seconds flatGrin I nearly got trampled in the rush to the table.

Groovee · 01/08/2017 14:12

Well done ibuilt. Lol at the sounds horrific 😂

Greenteandchives · 01/08/2017 14:21

Great job ibuilt. I am really hoping for my club10 next week, I need another 1lb. Just a half off for me this week, but not really expecting much more.
I have very few clothes that fit me now, some of them I am a bit sad about (but not sad enough to put some weight back on)

ALemonyPea · 01/08/2017 14:48

Well done losers, and welcome Maya.

Nice one getting your club 10 IBuilt.

I hate taster week, I always make something nice, others just take the piss and plonk a punnet of grapes on.

Groovee · 01/08/2017 14:56

Well done Green.

I quite like taster. We have some good cooks in our class.

ibuiltahomeforyou · 01/08/2017 16:01

Lemony what kind of things do you make?

I am trying to go for non-sweetener, non-Mugshot foods - my favourite 'sweet' snack is a bliss ball (date, cacao and ground almonds) but I don't know if they'd be to others' tastes.

Some of the food was really delish - the nicest was actually the Slimming World ham and mushroom farfalle from Iceland!

FoofFighter · 01/08/2017 16:22

I always make something but rarely taste as like a PP I am wary of food hygiene!

Last time I left my food there and had to leave early. Later there was a post on our groups FB page showing all the lovely dishes brought in. Except mine didn't get mentioned Hmm

We are having our taster in two weeks time instead of this week as leader is away. Looking forward to the replacement as she was a member of my old group who set up herself and is doing really well, be interesting to see how she differs in the running of the group.

ALemonyPea · 01/08/2017 16:27

Last time I made lemon and blueberry baked oats, but made them in to mini muffins. Also previously made BLT bites, crustless quiche, roulade, grinch skewers at Christmas as well.

Doesn't take too much effort to make something nice.
