Morning all, after being back at work for 2 and a half weeks I've managed to catch head lice for the first time in years! So sitting here with the stinky stuff on feeling very annoyed!

Not having a great week Slimming wise, but a good week for fun! BBq Tuesday, Wed ok, Thurs ok, last night niece's bday party which I made a cake for so had a small piece plus party nibbles. Tonight me and my husband are out to celebrate our wedding anniversary! So not much hope really!!

Still, good times!

caremummy · 29/07/2017 10:24

1.5 lb off this week, going to be really focussed this week and would like 2.5 lb, no going over syn 🙃🙂

Trills · 29/07/2017 10:35

Do you find that if you have followed the plan, you will lose? Or do some weeks not work even though you've had your hexes and your speed foods and have not gone over syns?

caremummy · 29/07/2017 11:43

Generally for me, if I follow the plan I will lose. Gains and maintains are when I don't follow the plan. Some weeks I'll half follow it and still get a loss. There was one week when it said I had a 16lb gain and I'd followed - but that was the sw scales.

caremummy · 29/07/2017 11:44

I've also found I have to track on mfp as well and try and stay below 1750 cals

Trills · 29/07/2017 11:56

Lalala can't hear you I chose Slimming World to avoid measuring things and painstakingly putting them into MFP lalala not listening

Owlina, oh no! As soon as I read your post my head felt itchy. Hope work is going well in spite of the wildlife.
Happy anniversary. 💑

Groovee · 29/07/2017 14:38

Happy Anniversary Owlina and Mr Owlina.

I feel bloated. Hoping I fit into my dress tonight x

ComputerUserNotTrained · 29/07/2017 14:39

Following with interest, as I signed up on Wednesday. Last night was tricky, being Friday. I was absolutely gagging for a bottle or two glass of wine, but managed to stave it off by glugging sugar-free sparking water. I had two rum and diet Cokes though (3.5 syns each - and actually slightly under as they were 30ml measures not 35ml).

I'm hoping to continue to control the weekend booze craving tonight with Pimms and diet lemonade. We'll see Hmm

To be fair, last night wasn't actually that bad. It's just getting past the Friday routine of cracking open the wine the moment I get through the door, which I've been in since forever. My liver will thank me, I'm sure.

Groovee · 29/07/2017 15:09

Welcome computer.

LavenderRains · 29/07/2017 15:55

His everyone. Sounds like everyone is having a good time on or off planGrin
I've not posted for a while, after my 5 Stone loss I've come to a standstill (my target is to lose 5.5 )
There have been lots of celebration meals but also my dad is in hospital which is stressful so I've just been grabbing food when I can which isn't always on plan, actually hardly ever on plan!
I've not been to group for 2 weeks and I'm sure I've gained😞

TurquoiseOwl · 29/07/2017 17:17

I can't believe how quick the weeks go. My first week felt like forever. Can't believe it's weigh in again on Monday. I'm hoping for 2 lbs, but it has been 4 days off plan this week Grin that's terrible! If I do 2, I'll be 3 away from a stone and a half 🤞🏻 not bad in 4 weeks Wink I'm so huge though.

Trills · 29/07/2017 20:23

Swap of the day for me: a Solero is 98 calories (= 5 syns), a Magnum 244 (= 12 syns).

And I have these which are 82 calories so only 4 syns.

Boatsnack · 29/07/2017 20:51

trills if I'm on plan I always lose and I definitely don't track calories.

I discovered asda really creamy light vanilla ice cream, it's only 3.5 syns per 100ml and I thought 50ml with strawberries was loads.

Welcome computer

lavender hope your dad is feeling better soon.

caremummy · 29/07/2017 21:29

To jump in again, fair enough .I accidentally consumed cows milk which means havoc for days and have had to count this as a day off

caremummy · 29/07/2017 21:30

It went weird - typical

Groovee · 30/07/2017 08:19

Morning everyone.

Had a night out for MIL's birthday. Had a lovely meal. Very SW friendly. Actually didn't feel too bloated or anything. Wore a dress I bough months ago which fitted great. Compared it to my Christmas night out photo and wow!

Back on plan today and hopefully lose 1lb this week.

Groovee · 30/07/2017 09:20

Thanks Never. It was a dress with no stretch last night. Big thing for me lol x

Trills · 30/07/2017 09:32

A dress with no stretch? Eek!

OwlinaTree · 30/07/2017 09:49

You look fab groovee

BasinHaircut · 30/07/2017 09:58

Hi all, I'm not having a very successful weekend. Not completely terrible in terms of the amount I've been eating, but certainly not on plan. Went to a BBQ yesterday and there was very little choice of food. Burgers, sausages, chicken drumsticks (I never eat chicken cooked on a BBQ) and crisps. Seriously, that was it. I made a cake and took that and that was served as the only dessert (and was delicious, even if I say so myself). So I had a burger, in bun with ketchup, a sausage and a bag of crisps, plus a slice of cake. I'd had weetabix and a banana for breakfast, and I had a slice of toast when I got home because I was starving.

I didn't bother counting syns or anything because it would have been lots.

Today we are at the mother in laws for dinner. I've been asked to take a pasta dish so I've made a SW friendly pasta bake. I have no idea what else they will have on offer but at least I know the pasta is safe! Grin

Yep, always had some stretch in my dresses. Apart from my wedding dress. So it felt great to be in a dress that didn't have that x

Groovee · 30/07/2017 10:58

Good luck at MIL's Basin
