:) automatic kissing - good thing we're not out in the big wide world of MN

ALemonyPea · 23/07/2017 13:20

Nothing worse than warm soggy salad when you're out.

I usually do salad wrapped up in ham/boiled eggs/carrot sticks/cheese cubes/precut fruit/low syn crisps

Well done on the loss Oriana.

Trills · 23/07/2017 13:32

Which crisps are low syns?

Hope you don't mind me asking a gazillion questions.

TurquoiseOwl · 23/07/2017 13:54

@Trills - Hula Hoops Puft are 3.5, which someone in my group said. I've never had them. Fusions are 4, those are the lowest I have come across.

ALemonyPea · 23/07/2017 14:21

Don't mind at all.

Hula hoop pufts 3.5
Walkers sensations poppadoms 3
Walkers fusions baked 5
Walkers baked 5.5

That's about as low as they get, but great do a quick crisp fix

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 23/07/2017 14:51

Not sure if this will be of interest for anyone but my local Tesco were doing a special offer on the BFree wraps and one of them can be used as your HEB choice for 88p when there normally £3.50

FoofFighter · 23/07/2017 15:13

oh thanks for tip off about wraps.

We went out for lunch today, I knew from a previous trip that there wasn't much suitable so only had strawberries for breakfast, and then had sasuage mash and peas and a giant yorkie with gravy, delicious!
SO will just have some fruit for tea I think, then that should even it all out. NOt even going to attempt to work out syns for it.

TurquoiseOwl · 23/07/2017 15:18

Weigh in tomorrow. Who else is weighing?

Group takes hours because of one man. He is very annoying. I appreciate the group is for everyone, but he has had a referral to the group and all the 3 weeks I have been (he's been going for 4) he says how much he hates it and just won't give up white bread and butter, declares he's already gone over his HEXA on his breakfast, etc. we all do our best to help him and he comes back with some sexist comment Hmm

Group would only take 40 mins! How long does your group go on for? There is only 10 of us!

Groovee · 23/07/2017 15:19

Space raiders pickled onion are 3 syns too.

I like the fusions for the 5 syns for a treat.

Squares 17g and Wotsits are 4 syns too I think.

Been having a hard time clothes shopping. I have no work clothes bar 1 dress which I need to lose extra pounds for and I still have 3 weeks to the start of term. Then I have 1 pair of trousers. Can't see the parents being happy with my bra on the top and no top.

Try on size 12, it's huge, size 10 still huge and size 8 is too big too! But I'm wearing size 12's from other shops with no bother 😩.

Did buy some funky size 12 leggings though.

Groovee · 23/07/2017 15:20

Our group varies sometimes 30 minutes other times 50 minutes because we start sharing tips.

TurquoiseOwl · 23/07/2017 15:21

Where are people getting 5 syns from!? I thought they were 4 or 4.5!?

Groovee · 23/07/2017 15:42

The syns calculator

Trills · 23/07/2017 15:45

Sensations poppadoms? That sounds good. And space raiders are those little packets you used to get for 10p st a school disco, right? :o

Groovee · 23/07/2017 15:49

Yep. Tesco were selling 6 packs of popadoms for £1.

TurquoiseOwl · 23/07/2017 15:52

@Groovee - mine says 4.5?

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 23/07/2017 16:54

Hi all,

Got back from 2 weeks all inclusive in Cyprus last night, got on the scales this morning and it looks like I'm 7lbs up so will be out of target range on Tuesday I think, it was so worth it though!

ALemonyPea · 23/07/2017 17:14

Oooo exciting about the fusions! They weren't on the database, so the calculator said 5, I'll take 4.5.

Groovee · 23/07/2017 17:29

The syn calculator said they were 5 as they weren't on the database when they first come out.

Groovee · 23/07/2017 17:31

Welcome Will.

Welcome home Dave. That's a great holiday gain. I gained 5.5lb in my one week. Lost 5lb last week though.

I've lost my nice shape I had prior to my surgery. Can't make up my mind if it's lack of exercise or if I have lost inches off my hips.

FoofFighter · 23/07/2017 18:00

Turquoise that sounds rather unfair of the leader to let him go on like that, it's not helpful or motivating or anything, sounds like he plainly isn't ready for this commitment yet, but is in danger of pulling others down with him. Can you have a word with the leader?

Trills · 23/07/2017 18:27

Groovee do you think it's a good idea to do regular measurements as well as weighing, so you would know how your shape had changed?

My group leader said she wished she had measured herself at her biggest because she now has no idea how big her waist really was.
