Aah PA bless you being all emotional. You've done brilliantly Star
I agree with every aspect of your list.
This year I'm actually looking forward to some hot weather!

JaceLancs · 14/06/2017 00:24

Weigh in for me tonight and lost 3lb which I'm very pleased about as was on holiday last week
Also means I've got my 3 stone award so I'm nearly half way to target
My next goal is to lose another stone before my next holiday in September

Groovee · 14/06/2017 05:57

Ah PA how lovely to read.

Well done Jace.

I'm in agony after Burlesque x

ALemonyPea · 14/06/2017 07:46

What a lovely post PA. Congratulations on your loss!

VWVAN · 14/06/2017 08:19

OK I am confused and wondered if anyone can shed any light? I've been on SW for 12 weeks and lost 20lb - very happy with that. Durong the 12 weeks I've been away 3 times. Every time I have just taken the week off SW and ate as i used to (Ice cream, pork pie, fish and chips). Every time I have dreaded the scales when I got back. first time I lost 1/2lb, second time I lost 1lb, this time I've lost 3lb! How is that possible? I'm happy that I've lost nad not gained, but totally confused as to how that could happen?

Groovee · 14/06/2017 08:30

No idea, our bodies are strange things!

BasinHaircut · 14/06/2017 08:30

No idea VWVAN but if you figure it out be sure to let us know! Grin

I made beef ragu from pinchofnom overnight in the slow cooker and my house smells delicious this morning. Looking forward to dinner tonight!

Also had a little browse at the SW website yesterday for meal ideas as I haven't really bothered much before and just adapted what we usually have to be SW friendly or tried other sites.

Anyway, I made egg fried rice last night and it was delicious! Followed the recipe but added celery and chicken. Served with veg curry made with mayflower sauce and it was epic.

Well done jace

pa I love your post. I can identify with everything you've written, especially the eating in public thing. I can't tell you how many buffets at events that I've completely avoided despite being hungry just so people didn't see the fat woman eating.
Your achievement is real and it's all down to you. Well done! Star

ALemonyPea · 14/06/2017 14:02

I can definitely relate to the eating in public thing. Even now I'm self conscious but getting better.

My excitement for the day, getting a free subway salad 👍 And buying a size 10 dress from next 👍👍I'm easily pleased

Woo hoo lemony, size 10!!

I've decided to weigh in at a different group tonight. Was going to go to my consultant's other group tomorrow but DH is away and I don't fancy taking DS with me. Problem is I only decided this an hour ago and if I'd thought earlier I wouldn't have had such a big lunch today. I haven't done the usual weigh day rituals! Ah well, they will be different scales anyway so not really going to be representative anyway.

FaithAgain · 14/06/2017 18:19

Basin the scales are calibrated so technically they should all be the same! So says my consultant - as a shift worker I often weigh in at other groups. I swear one consultant has 'heavier' scales though!

Size 10 is awesome Lemony! I'm going shopping tomorrow and hoping for a 12, maybe even 10 in some stuff myself!

WI for me tonight. Fairly optimistic after maintaining last week (star week) for a small loss this week.

ALemonyPea · 14/06/2017 18:47

It's a big size 10 really, nice loose dress, this one. I'm mainly a size 12 now, have a couple of size 10 things, again on the big size of size 10. Still nice to have those numbers though.

Can't remember who mentioned it in the last thread, but cooked Malaysian pork with rice for tea tonight. Really nice. Have tons left over so wondering if it is freezable?

Half on!

faith last week our consultant weighed us at her house on her carpet. I'm sure that affected the result as usually it's on hard floor. And seeing as I weigh different depending on which bathroom tile I put my scales on I'm sure 2 sets of scales in different places can't be identically calibrated to the point that it never makes a difference.

But at least I know where I am now. Was hoping for target on Monday (last weigh in before holiday) but I'm out drinking and eating on Friday so I won't make that.

Oh well I'll get there eventually Confused

BasinHaircut · 14/06/2017 19:21

Sorry! Reading that back sounds aggressive! It was meant to be jokey Grin

OwlinaTree · 14/06/2017 20:33

That's lovely lemony, I love dresses with pockets especially for work. That's a bit too nice for work though!

NachoAddict · 14/06/2017 20:47

Hi all, I joined back last night. I got to target about 2 years ago but put it all back on on the last 6 months.

Had a good day on plan but used all 13.5 syns on Asda world flavour chicken wings which I had already bought. They were delicious though and the only syns I had.

Groovester · 14/06/2017 21:31

lemony it was me who posted the Malaysian pork and rice recipe. I froze a couple of portions and used them for lunches. No problems at all. Glad you liked it and congratulations on the size 10. I'm still delighted to fit in size 14s!!

Groovester · 14/06/2017 21:32

basin 1/2lb is nothing. You'll get rid of that with a good sneeze Grin

Welcome nacho

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 14/06/2017 22:01

Right, tomorrow is my second meeting. I didn't stay after weighing in last week and won't be able to very often but possibly could tomorrow. Although I really don't fancy it. What actually happens? Can you leave before it ends if you need to?

ALemonyPea · 14/06/2017 22:04

Welcome Nacho.

Groovster, I still have to pinch myself that I fit small clothes. I was a size 22 last year. Don't want to go back there ever again.

Will freeze some portions then. Be good on days the DC want fish fingers.

emwithme · 14/06/2017 22:25

That dress is gorgeous Lemony and POCKETS! I bloody love pockets.

I get what you mean about pinching yourself about small clothes. Every time I fold my trousers/knickers these days I wonder how my giant arse can fit into these UNFEASIBLY small clothes. But it does Grin

It won't soon though. I am 90% white bread, cheese and crisps. Seriously, anything else makes me feel pukey. If in February you hear of someone giving birth to a cheese sandwich, it will be me.

Groovee · 15/06/2017 05:23

Wh0 I tell my consultant if I need to leave by a certain time and she's fine about it.

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 15/06/2017 07:14

Thanks Groovee. Apparently the whole thing takes an hour and a half which seems like a very long time to me.

Groovee · 15/06/2017 07:17

Our weigh in starts at 5.30 and the queue can still be going through at 6pm. Some people come in about 5.50pm and get weighed then we finish by 6.45pm. So if you get there later it won't take as long as 90 mins.
