We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

I'm breastfeeding. I didn't even question it, just dove right into all the cheese!! I've been enjoying cheesy omelettes and and evening cheese on toast!

I think but can't immediately produce proof, that a breastfeeding woman's diet would have to be severely restricted, basically to famine levels for milk supply to be at risk, but healthy extras/a healthy diet generally are of the utmost importance for your own wellbeing, especially post pregnancy. So don't skimp on the cheese!

Shaking a pom pom in encouragement for you Date. You can do it!

And Oriana good luck with the baby's jabs. No fun for anyone involved.Sad

Well done Sprouts. It's taken me weeks to lose that much! Took DS2 clothes shopping today and spotted a couple of things for myself, including some summer trousers in a size smaller. Noticed a few of us have done the same. Feels good, doesn't it! We then went for lunch where I had jacket potato & salad. Gorgeous homemade cakes on display that were so tempting but DS basically said, don't undo your good work, mum. After we'd eaten I offered for him to have a cake but he said he was full. Not sure that he was, think he was being supportive so I didn't push it.

Groovee · 18/04/2017 19:08

Gutted I stayed the same! Scales jumped down 4lbs then jumped back up 😢

latedecember1963 · 18/04/2017 19:21

Oh no, Grooves! Were you not tempted to go & have a wee & come back for another weigh. (Or maybe that's just me.😁)

latedecember1963 · 18/04/2017 19:23

Sorry, Groovee, daft auto correct!

OwlinaTree · 18/04/2017 19:27

Bad luck groovee. Well done all the losers. I managed to lose 1lb this week, pleased now that I resisted the chocolate over the weekend!

Holiday next week, who knows what will happen! I might try to stick to it, I might not, I really don't know! I am hoping I won't go too mad as I am so pleased with what I have achieved. I'll deffo be drinking!

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2017 19:33

Ah Groovee I hate it when that happens.

Well done everyone on the smaller clothes, it's brilliant when that happens isn't it. Such a boost.

I weighed myself this morning and I've put 4lb on over the Easter (haha autocorrect put waster, so true) weekend, that should more or less be off when I get weighed hopefully, as I don't think it's real weight., just bread, butter and chocolate cake weight 😁

PositiveAttitude · 18/04/2017 21:44

Well done on the loses, or those with maintains or small gains due to Easter! Lots of lovely NSV's here too. Well done!
Well done to everyone who has restrained their chocolate intake. I had to have no chocolate weekend simply because I am an all or nothing person and know I would not be able to stop at "just a small bit!" Blush

1.5lb off for me tonight. Pleased with that and just 0.5lb to get back to where I was before my blip. I did save myself a hot cross bun, a piece of DS's birthday cake and a piece of easter chocolate, which I have fully demolished since getting home from WI. Blush The hot cross bun was absolutely lush and the only one I had this year. The rest was disappointing but I still ate it all I don't know why I keep on eating things that I used to love, but now find disappointing, but hey ho. Line is drawn again and on it again in the morning. I did read a very interesting article that said that by having one blow out a week you keep your metabolism up more and so you ultimately lose more weight. I can just tell myself that I am putting that theory to the test, just for scientific reasons, obviously! Grin

Can I share a little secret here - feel free to totally ignore this, but I am fit for bursting keeping this to myself as I can't possibly tell anyone in RL. We have one michelin star chef in our county and he contacted my DS last week right out of the blue and has asked to meet with him tomorrow to see if they can work together. I know i am totally biased, but DS is amazingly talented and I am so bloody proud and chuffed to bits for him. This has meant that he has spent this evening "practising" for tomorrow and has made some exquisite chocolate orange truffles, which were to die for. He is so pleased and his confidence is high at the moment because of this, which for a young lad that has suffered from severe anxiety and low self esteem is lovely to see. He is not going to be sad if this does not work out, either, because he loves his job that he is doing now, but he is just boosted so much by the thought that this quite famous chef has "head- hunted" him as a local, young talented chef. He is very excited for tomorrow and so am I I am such a proud mum right now. Blush

LavenderRains · 18/04/2017 22:02

Omg PA that's amazing. Huge cudos to your DS Star

I sort of agree with the 'blow out' theory, and after weigh in tomorrow I will be demolishing 2 hot x buns I've saved with an inch of real butter Grin

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2017 22:11

Amazing PA, you must be so proud.

PositiveAttitude · 18/04/2017 22:15

Lavender I had the inch thick real butter tonight on mine. Absolute heaven. I had eaten half before I realised that I had not toasted it!! But cold was just as scrummy.

OwlinaTree · 18/04/2017 22:19

That's great pa. Glad you got the school you wanted basin.

calzone · 18/04/2017 22:20

Lovely news PA.

I made a lovely ham and onion quiche tonight with a sweet potato base. Was delicious.

Groovester · 18/04/2017 23:06

Popping in to say well done on all the NSVs as well as the scale victories. I must admit I get a buzz at being able to buy smaller clothes. I find it strange because in my head I'm still whale-like.
And w
pa - how exciting!
groovee - hideous when that happens but stay on track for that award next week.
And I'm the same re: eating food I used to love. On holiday my husband bought me a tube of prawn cocktail pringles which I used to love as a treat and they were really sweet, odd tasting and ultimately disappointing.
I'm behaving myself this week after my easter Sunday blowout. Little/no syns and all my meals on plan. If I maintain on Thursday night I will be happy...

NicolaRooney · 19/04/2017 01:09

Hi there

Im a bit nervous butim wanting to start a slimming world blog of my fpod and tips. I was wondering if any of you woukd be interested in it?

NicolaRooney · 19/04/2017 01:10

Obviously with better spelling! :,)

Groovee · 19/04/2017 07:33

Thanks everyone. Today is a new day. Some pain from Burlesque today. Got work later too.

Great news for your son PA.

BasinHaircut · 19/04/2017 08:15

PA that is amazing, he does patisserie doesn't he? Those guys are so skilled you must be so so proud!

At the moment I really think I've blown it this week. I know I'm probably still bloated so fingers crossed that sorts itself out but Thursday evening, but I hate the thought of getting a sticker and then feeling like I should give it back. If I gain even half a pound then I'm out of that club 10 range.

Anyway, focusing on today because that's all we can do isn't it?

B- weetabix and milk (HE's)
L - gammon, halloumi (6syns), BNS, cous cous, coleslaw (1syn), salad.
D - paprika chicken and rice (1.5 syns)
chargrilled peppers
Sn - banana, apple, satsumas.

BasinHaircut · 19/04/2017 08:15

Cheers Owlina!
