We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

calzone you look great! I have a copper coil which is non hormonal. Bit unpleasant to fit but no bleeding. Slightly heavier periods but manageable. Hope you get something sorted.

Not too bad over Easter here, meals at both sets of parents but nothing too off plan. Will be pleased with a sts, but could well be a gain on Tuesday!

ALemonyPea · 17/04/2017 07:55

You look fab Calzone. I bled solid for 6 months with the implant and had it removed, stopped bleeding the same day. GP refused to remove it until my 6 months were up though incase it settled 😡

I'm so annoyed at myself for what I ate at the weekend, I had zero willpower despite saying I'd be fine and would limit what I ate. Damage control from today and not weighing in tomorrow, but Saturday instead so that my recorded gain won't be horrific.

OP posts:
Shamoffour · 17/04/2017 08:28

Lemony exactly the same happened earlier to me!! They were really reluctant to remove it in the hope it would settle.
Owlina I love my copper coil except for two days a month of heavy bleeding I don't know I have it.

I'm back on it today despite being surrounded by piles of chocolate, cake and left over desserts.

BasinHaircut · 17/04/2017 08:37

That's outrageous! Body autonomy and all that how can they refuse to remove it?!

We shouldn't be hard on ourselves ladies, I think Easter is just one of those times inthe year where we eat more. Even though it's a long weekend at least it's not a month long like the unavoidable Xmas excesses seem to go on for!

latedecember1963 · 17/04/2017 08:44

Wow, Canzone, you look great! Am managing to stick pretty much to the plan I made on Friday. DH was really thoughtful by getting me a Green & Black chocolate selection box instead of an Easter egg so that I can syn each individual bar. Being able to unwrap a small bar & eat it without having a large unfinished bar hanging around will also be easier. No WI for me today as I'm still at the caravan. There's a group local on Weds so I'm going to WI there instead.

Playdoughandglitter · 17/04/2017 10:59

Can I join you SW crew?

Started SW at home on the 1st Jan...lost a stone so far but took my DC to Butlins last week and think I've fallen off the wagon!!

Need some inspiration to get back to it!!

BasinHaircut · 17/04/2017 11:38

playdough of course!

Well done in your WL so far. It's tough getting back on plan but you can do this!

isaulte · 17/04/2017 12:54

About to complete Wk 2 (weigh in tomorrow), have been sooooo good apart from a few glasses of wine (within syns though!), sneaky peek this morning says 2lb GAIN but it is AF week.... trying not to be disheartened!!!

Luckily I have passed my danger point with chocolate (a PMS craving only) and also only bought DS and DP one egg each this year, plus a few extra little ones for an egg hunt (DS is 16 but insisted Smile), so there isn't too much lying around to tempt.

raffle · 17/04/2017 14:27

Playdough, try not to panic. I spent a long weekend at Butlins recently with the meals included. I ate pretty much everything I seen! Was dreading WI but I only gained half a pound. Think it was due to our chalet being so very far away from the centre, so plenty of power walks Smile

ALemonyPea · 17/04/2017 16:40

Welcome Playdough. Try not to worry about what you may or may not have gained over your holiday. Its a holiday, you're meant to enjoy it. As long as it doesn't continue the you get home, relax and get back on the SW wagon.

I went to Blackpool last year for 3 days and ate like a pig, but still managed to lose 2.5lbs because of all the walking I did.Going to Disney this year, and hoping the walking will counteract the ice creams, crepes and numerous crap I will be filling my face with.

SideOrderofSprouts · 18/04/2017 07:32

After a load of gardening yesterday I weighed in for the end of the first this morning.

9lb off. I'm
Happy!

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2017 08:11

Well done sprouts!

Well back on plan after a less than perfect long weekend. Not a total write off but will be fingers crossed for a maintain this week.

Playdoughandglitter · 18/04/2017 10:14

Thanks guys! I did do a lot of walking but I've put on 2 pounds...back to it with a vengeance!

I've just had melon for breakfast...I CAN do this!

Notlostjustexploring · 18/04/2017 10:26

I'm also back on it today. I am in awe of everyone's ability to stay on plan with so much chocolate in circulation!

I decided that the best way to deal with temptation was to get rid of the temptation - very delicious the temptation was as well

Also had a stinker of a cold this weekend which has meant that I wasn't eating as much as usual or as well as I should be but also retaining water so goodness knows what my weigh in will tell me on Friday.

But but but but but - the jeans jeggings I'm wearing are not cutting into me in the alarming fashion that they were before probably stretched them so I feel like I'm wearing a reminder that although I've just started, and have a long way to go, my first step has been made and to keep my hands off the treats!!

OrianaBanana · 18/04/2017 10:46

You can Playdough! I'm determined today too after an off plan weekend. Just cooked an egg to snack on and made DS eat the last of his chocolate (yes, I was sneaking some of his... I'm not proud of it).

Can you tell I'm waiting for an online shop?!

Baby has her 16 week jabs later today so hope I don't need to turn to chocolate..

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2017 11:43

Well done sprouts.

I'm always in awe of you all who do this just after having a baby. I could barely make a sandwich the first year my DC were babies.

Made my fave breakfasts this morning, baked oats with lemon curd, as craving sweet stuff after having lots of puddings over the weekend. Back on it from yesterday but could have easily killed my DH last nig when he ordered Dominos for everyone and had to have a boring ham salad.

Plus side, went clothes shopping yesterday, bought some lovely summer clothes, size 12 tunics from Next. I was actually shaking when I was at the tills as I can't believe this time last year I was unable to buy clothes from there as was a size 22.

Notlostjustexploring · 18/04/2017 11:55

lemony that's amazing! My first reaction to that is to want to give you a high five!!

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 18/04/2017 12:40

1.5 off for me this week which is what I'd put on last week. I really need to get back into the SW habit again as I can feel myself wavering Blush

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2017 12:55

Come on dave! You've got this.

Just had a lunch of gammon, baked beans and courgette fried in frylight. Delicious!

That first day after you've gone rogue is always a struggle isn't it? I'm at home letting DS have a lazy day before he starts back to nursery tomorrow and I'm bored! I'm officially on annual leave but am considering getting my laptop out and doing some work.....

But instead I think I'll clean the bathroom.

Yorkiedodah · 18/04/2017 12:57

Just stumbling on this page. Second week of sw and lost 5,5lbs and slimmer of the week :)

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2017 13:19

You can do it Dave, summer is coming, just think how good you'll look lighter than you are now.

Well done Yorkie.

My DC not back at school until next week. Vast amount of chocolate staring at me, and DH bought me a Green and Blacks selection box. Have to limit myself to 5 syns a day til next week to make up for the weekend, I've had 6 today haha, but that's it. No more needed.

FaithAgain · 18/04/2017 13:25

Afternoon all!

Great work Lemony! I went into town today and bought size 12 skinny jeans and new running trousers in a 12 Shock My old ones were falling down as I ran! Happy!

Summer bodies are made now everyone!! We can do it!

MonkeyToucher · 18/04/2017 15:58

Hi everyone, is it ok if I join you!?

Started SW 4 weeks ago and started really well, lost 12lb in my first 3 weeks. Then went on holiday last week and it all went a bit....awry. A kick up the bum would be most appreciated to get me back on track!

I'm trying to lose the baby weight I put on with DS (he's 6 months) but to be honest I needed to lose weight even before I got pregnant. Is anyone else breastfeeding? I'm struggling a bit with all the HEXs I'm allowed - 4 portions of dairy a day is more than I was having before! Feels a bit counterproductive to be eating so much cheese but would be gutted if I damaged my milk supply by not eating the recommended amount!

calzone · 18/04/2017 16:06

Ok, let's do this, people.

7 days on plan.

Just 7 days.

Post what you eat here.

B.....sweet omelette with yoghurt and fruit
L....cooked chicken with couscous and salad
D....veggie stir fry with cauliflower rice and some prawns
