We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Well done em and all you losers there!
I'm a little off plan today - this seems to happen every week! I have weigh in on Mondays and do really well for a couple of days. Then I seem to lose my mojo, get a bit disorganised and by Thursday and Friday I'm not doing so well. I will try to pull it back again for the next few days...

Groovee · 19/05/2017 07:11

Well done Em and good luck x

OwlinaTree · 19/05/2017 07:45

Good luck for the exam em, and well done on the loss.

LavenderRainbows · 19/05/2017 08:19

Good luck em
Well done sham
groovester (twinny) I've lost 4 stone 10.5!! Well done!! Star

I've bought some mayflower curry powder and it says 9 portions but is just one big box of powderConfused
How much do I use just for me? & how go I syn it? & is it nice?? Grin

Out for a meal tonight which will be totally off plan, 20+ people going so I will eat as much as the next manGrin but will chomp on fruit all day to compensate.

BasinHaircut · 19/05/2017 09:03

From memory lavender I think it says on the box? I've always found I only need about half of that though for 1 portion, or 2 portions serves 3 IYSWIM.

Well yesterday we had a nice off plan lunch but didn't go mad. Then had a lovely afternoon at the cinema until we came out and saw a commotion with someone laying on the floor and thought he'd been run over. There were lots of people already there and I'm not first aid trained or anything so didn't go over. It turns out that he had been stabbed and according to local news died. So sad.

Back on plan today.

shamoffour · 19/05/2017 11:15

Yay em well done!

I'm combining slimming world with 16:8 to give me a bit of a boost which is why I lost so much this week. It's actually been really easy.
L-omelette with ham, tomato and mushrooms
D-chilli and cauli rice
Greek yogurt,raspberries and flaked almonds(heb)

Boatsnack · 19/05/2017 11:39

Well done to all the losers 👏👏

@whereareyousleep stick with C25K I've been doing it on and off for about 4years now and I can finally run the 5k in around 30mins. Join one of the c25k threads in exercise tonnes of support.

Food wise I've been ok this week I had one day where I ate a lot of bread but I think I'll have clawed it back. I'm expecting sts but I don't weigh officially till Sunday.

LavenderRainbows · 19/05/2017 13:10

sham what's 16:8?

basin all I've got on my box is a chicken curry recipe using half the powder so might make that and freeze some. The app says 4 syns. Is that per serving or the whole box? Confused
How sad basin for that poor man. Not a nice thing to witness either

ALemonyPea · 19/05/2017 13:26

Oh Basin, how sad 💐

Third day of SP.

DS1s birthday tomorrow, so having family for a pizza party tonight. I had my pizza for lunch, blue cheese and bacon, made with HEB flour. Was amazing! Having quiche for tea as wouldn't have time to make pizza for myself.

BasinHaircut · 19/05/2017 14:25

Just found the box (knew I kept it), 85g, 340ml water, serves 2-3 lavender. I find that easily serves 3 but I believe half is 4 syns.

I must get some more of that because it is delicious.

Groovee · 19/05/2017 15:32

Think 28g is 4 syns of the curry.

Bought a new top today. Love my new shape. Size 12 top.

shamoffour · 19/05/2017 19:01

Groovee whit woo check you out! You look amazing!

Basin I'm sorry I missed that bit of your post, that must have been an awful thing to seeFlowers

Lav 16:8 is basically where you only eat in an 8 hour window each day. So I eat between 12 o'clock and 8 o'clock but you can choose your time slot so you could do 9-5 if you prefer. During the fast time you only drink water, 0 cal drinks or black tea/coffee, I've been putting a splash of skimmed milk in and it's been fine.
The ides is you will naturally eat less calories and your body will burn fat faster during fast times (I think that bit is right!)

calzone · 19/05/2017 19:14

Sham.."..I'm doing 5:2 with sw and I fasted today. Didn't eat dinner until 6pm and had to eat 600 calories at the same meal. No grazing.
I had a love life beef lasagne and roasted cauliflower and a skyr with 100g blueberries.

It's such a great way to eat and I feel really in control. It's also saving me so much time in vegetable prep and money!!!!

BasinHaircut · 19/05/2017 19:31

Actually ignore me, I think groovee is right. It's been a while since I've used the mayflower sauce but I'm now planning a trip to get some tomorrow!

LavenderRainbows · 19/05/2017 22:03

Thanks people, looking forward to trying the mayflower curry!

groovee looks great you must be chuffedSmile

OwlinaTree · 19/05/2017 22:49

Looking good groovee!

Groovee · 20/05/2017 07:39

Thanks ladies xx

ALemonyPea · 20/05/2017 16:17

Looking lovely Groovee. Jealous of your boobs, mine have shrank loads since I've lost weight.

I didn't manage to be good yesterday. Had a little nibble of some pizza, a little bit of chocolate cake, and picked at the sweets. Oh well. I did 3ish days SP with minimal syns, and will minimise my syns for the rest of the week.

My consultant is away for two weeks, we have a stand in who I'm not too keen on. Man of the year as well this week, there is only one Bloke in our group, so guess he will win it.

Been on plan today. Making a buffet tea of ribs, wi go and accompaniments as per my sons request, but doing steak for me.

OP posts:
ALemonyPea · 20/05/2017 16:17

Wings, not wi go

BasinHaircut · 20/05/2017 18:39

I couldn't resist around pizza either lemony, doesn't sound too bad though you can pull that back seeing as you've done loads of SP already.

Love that top groovee where is it from?

Well, it's amazing how much you can get done in a day when you get up at 5:40am! By midday today I had been food shopping for the week, been into town and queued up at the post office, went and bought myself a couple of summer bits, did the pound shop, cooked a big batch of calzones white sauce for the freezer, 5 portions of 2 servings, and visited friends to pick up some bits I'd lent them.

This afternoon I made us a nice lunch (salmon and pesto pasta with spinach), batch cooked chicken curry and cottage pie filling (3 portions of 2 servings of each) and visited DH's aunt to pick up some keys as I'm feeding her cats next week whilst she is on holiday.

DH is in bed with a migraine so I'm not sure what he will want to do about dinner. Need to wake him up soon.

Groovee · 20/05/2017 19:16

Top from M&S in the last chance section.

My boobs are fab. I didn't have any for years. Only lost 2 inches from them. Lost underneath though.

OwlinaTree · 20/05/2017 19:31

Have been craving a big Chinese takeaway today. I really want duck pancakes, sweet and sour chicken

OwlinaTree · 20/05/2017 19:36

Sorry, toddler posted!

... cantonese style with chips and a pile of prawn crackers. I want a loss on Tuesday though, after a sts last week and only half a lb the week before. So I'm having homemade burger and chips tonight, will be yummy, and I've promised myself the dirty takeaway next weekend if I have a loss on Tuesday!

Wore new size 10 top today, was very pleased! Bumped into an old school friends too so was glad I looked good!

OwlinaTree · 20/05/2017 19:38

The new top!
