We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Well done all you lovely losers.

I lost 1.5 lbs this week so am now only 1.5 lbs away from being back in target range. Hoping to get that this week (I really don't like paying any more).

Have decided against becoming a consultant at this point; I'm going to do my tax qualifications first hopefully have a baby and then look at it again in a couple of years. At this point I couldn't dedicate the time required to marketing etc and getting the group going. But I'm glad I went to the Opportunities Event.

Today's food:

B: Eggy muffins
L: Chicken salad, apple, pear, satsuma, greek yoghurt
D: Pasta bolognaise bake
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

ALemonyPea · 12/05/2017 10:17

That's great PA. A big poo will get rid of that 😉

Em, do you top paying once you're in target range or when you're at target? Well done on your loss.

Back at the gym today, need to work those nachos off somehow.

Groovee · 12/05/2017 10:37

Glad you have made a decision which suits you Em.

PA that's good news. Still time to make amends before WI.

PositiveAttitude · 12/05/2017 11:33

My friend has just put a photo of us together on facebook. OMG I cant help looking at it and thinking that I am no longer the fat friend!!! It feels good. (I am most definitely not saying that my friend is now the fat friend, I just always felt like the elephant compared to the beautiful swans that they all are.)

Groovee · 12/05/2017 13:10

Aww that's an NSV PA.

Just got a date for my surgery and I can't go. On a course. They've said they'll send me a new one in due course.

OrianaBanana · 12/05/2017 14:54

2lbs off for me today, so I'd get my stone and a half award if I had started again, which I didn't Hmm - so nothing!

I actually need to lose 12 more lbs to get my first award this time round, my 2 stone; so unfair. Grin

didireallysaythat · 12/05/2017 16:43

Quick question about weighing at home - do you move your scales or leave them in the same place ? I've been tucking them under the bathroom sink but there's a 5kg difference if I weigh by the bath or the shower. I always do best of three (new scales now give the same answer three times in a row) but obviously change depending on where I stand ...

katplva · 12/05/2017 17:01

I always leave the scales in the same place didi, but more out of habit than anything. A 5kg difference seems like a huge amount for changing location! Are they two different flooring types? Or maybe there's just more gravity in one area Wink

emwithme · 12/05/2017 18:08

I put the scales on the same tile of the bathroom floor. I weigh within 1/2 lb of group if I do that. If I put it on a neighbouring tile, I'm about 4 lbs lighter, and two back I'm half a stone heavier.

Once you've got to target, Lemony you don't pay as long as you're within 3 lbs of your target weight. If you go out of this, you have a week's grace to get back in to target, otherwise you have to start paying. I am currently 4.5 lbs over my target weight so need to lose at least 1.5 lbs to stop paying!

ALemonyPea · 12/05/2017 18:12

Fab nsv PA.

Well done on your loss Oriana. Bit silly about the award.

My scales are always in the same place.

Christ I'm feeling so sorry for myself today.

Didn't sleep much last night with that sinus pressure all round my face and ive also got my period so in pain with that too.

On account of the different scales at group on thurs and the face that I feel dreadful and can't even get it together enough to do an online shop (meal plan is already done) I'm not really on plan and am going to weigh again on Monday so I can go back to a Monday weigh in and take it from there.

Will be on plan tomorrow and Sunday but not today, I need ice cream today. And garlic bread with my spag Bol. I've got 5 weeks starting Monday before holiday and I'm getting to target.

I know I keep saying the same thing but I'm trying to convince myself more than you lot Wink

shamoffour · 12/05/2017 19:39

Well done all the losers!!
I've had one of those days, my toddlers have been challenging to say the least. I've had to take them For haircuts and I actually thought their heads would start spinning at one point.
Apparently I will look back in fondness at these days when they are olderHmm

On the food front it's not been the best.

B-coffee
L-two bourbon biscuits, a banana and rich tea biscuit
D-two large glasses of red and a bag of pistachios.

must try harder.

shamoffour · 12/05/2017 19:42

Sorry you're feeling shit basinFlowers

Groovee · 12/05/2017 19:58

Hugs Basin.

My too small drawer of clothes for my holiday are now too big! Pain in the rear as I didn't budget to buy new holiday stuff!

PositiveAttitude · 12/05/2017 20:14

Hope you feel better tomorrow, Basin

Nice problem to have, Groovee (apart from the money!!)

I always put my scales on the same tile in the bathroom, too. I know they weigh 1lb more than the SW scales, so bear that in mind when I weigh.

A very good day for me today. After the photo NSV I received my AAT level 4 certificate in the post. A nice certificate to go in a frame for my office wall. show off, me???
I've eaten well on SW foods today and feel so much better for it and fuller. So glad to be back on it and not having the need to eat crap to fill me up tonight.

didireallysaythat · 12/05/2017 22:55

If I had been smart I would have noted where I put the scales the first two week I weighed myself. I don't think I'm going to weigh myself this week.but I'm going to decide where to always put the scales now. Obviously somewhere in the bathroom where the gravity is less.

Can I just check - there's no scanning app for sw that I've missed (like in mfp or ww) ? To be honest I'm a little underwhelmed with sw so far. A 15 page pdf of allowed foods has been the only thing I've found on the web site. I like the idea of eating veg but all the recipes with sweeteners or sweetened yogurts, well I'd rather use a pinch of something real than a tablespoon of something chemical. I do like the oats but not the sweetened yogurts I bought for it !

OwlinaTree · 12/05/2017 23:16

I use Skyr plain yoghurt for overnight oats, that works well for me. I eat Muller lights but I find them too sweet in overnight oats.

Everything is made of chemicals, not just sweeteners!

OwlinaTree · 12/05/2017 23:21

Today's food

B tomato, cheese and mushroom omelette, raisin wheats (1 syn)
S Apple and pear
L ham and cottage cheese salad (1 syn )
D jambalaya (4syns), berries, banana and yoghurt

Been at the hospital today for DS minor op. Got there for about mid day and for home about 8. I'm so shattered.

ALemonyPea · 13/05/2017 07:56

Hope you managed some sleep last night Basi, and that today is a better day.

Well done on the certificate PA.

Hope your DS is ok after his op Owl.

Did, try different yoghurt. I don't like muller yoghurts, they taste like sour milk. Danone light and free yoghurts are delicious, they have bits of fruit in as well, so thick and creamy, and they're free.

Had a good day yesterday. 6.5 syns for the day.

OP posts:
Groovee · 13/05/2017 08:19

I like the light and free yoghurts or the super fruitii yoghurts. If I can be bothered I like to go to Lidl and get their skyr Ines which are free. Muller lights are too runny for me x

BasinHaircut · 13/05/2017 08:50

Cheers guys, much better night's sleep last night so feeling a bit better. still not sure I can get myself together enough to figure out the shopping though (and yes I'm aware how pathetic that sounds! Grin).

DS is going away with his granny for a couple of nights today so I might try and muster the energy to go shopping later on.

Think a sofa day is in order though.

OrianaBanana · 13/05/2017 10:13

Glad you're feeling a bit better Basin, just have a relaxing day.

Owlina hope your DS is ok x

OrianaBanana · 13/05/2017 10:16

Yesterday went to pot after (non-SW) pepper and brie quiche, mayonnaisey potato salad, chocolate, more chocolate, mini cheddars, angel delight and whisky. Blush

Back on it today and I'll try and save some syns to compensate.

B - porridge with milk, coffee (HExA and B)
L - salad with ham or tuna or something
S - pasta bolognese

My Instant Pot is coming today, I'm irrationally excited. Does anyone have one?

Also looking to book our week in Scotland, so excited about that.

OwlinaTree · 13/05/2017 11:15

Thanks guys, he's bouncing round the lounge now so I think he's fine.

ALemonyPea · 13/05/2017 18:40

Glad to hear he's doing ok Owl

Went to my sisters for tea today. Saved my syns to have there, but she cooked a completely syn free meal for me, so I'm now having ammini vienetta for 3 syns.

I also need to go to Aldi tomorrow and get some gin and peach Bellini ice lollies, which are also 3 syns but contain alcohol.
