We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Just done my measurements. It's slow this time. 2 inches off my hips and that's it. Everywhere else has stayed the same.

Weigh in tonight. Hope it goes better.

whereareyousleep · 09/05/2017 08:31

Sorry to hear about all the little ones with chicken pox it really is awful my cousins ds has them and you can't see an inch of skin on him there that bad.

Weigh in tonight and I have had a rubbish few days gone over on syns for last 4 days not by huge amounts but still. Will probably put on as can't have even 1 meal off plan without gaining Sad

ALemonyPea · 09/05/2017 13:44

I maintained. I MUST NOT EAT BREAD! Bloody bread, love the stuff, but it bloats me, I can feel it in my clothes.

Knew it'd be that, so I'm not disappointed, will have a loss next week for sure.

Good luck to everyone trying to get back on plan, don't give up, summer is nearly here!

Awww @ALemonyPea we can get you through the no bread x

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 09/05/2017 15:30

1lb on for me this week Hmm need to shake things up a bit I think!

BasinHaircut · 09/05/2017 17:13

I feel your pain lemony, bloody delicious bread!

I'm on plan today but neither my head nor my heart are in it right now and I don't know why.

What I do know is that if I gain on Thursday I risk dropping below an overall loss of a stone and I really don't want that.

I'm having a word with myself. I have 6 weeks and 5 weigh ins till my holiday (the one I haven't had to bloody cancel) and as of last Thursday I was 4.5lbs off target. I've had a month of completely SW incompatible weekends and it's all gone a bit tits up. BUT there is nothing in the diary that should take me off plan for more than a meal a week in the next 6 weeks and so I need to sort it out.

I also need to get back to Monday weigh-ins to keep me on track over the weekend. Thursdays are making me slack!

ALemonyPea · 09/05/2017 17:58

It wasn't even proper bread, it was my HEB wholemeal. Wish I'd just had crusty tiger loaf with butter like everyone else now. At least the maintain would have been justified.

Basin, if you've got stuff planned, perhaps do the other days on low syns, 5 a day if you can manage it, then you'll be able to relax a bit.

I'm 6.5lb from target, it's frustrating that it's so close yet feels so far.

OwlinaTree · 09/05/2017 19:24

Half off for me this week, to be expected with the holiday the previous week, but I'm OK with that. Have been on plan this week so hopefully have a good loss next week.

Hope you are OK lemony, a sts always sucks.

Basin, you can do this, your plan to stick to it when not at an event sounds viable to me! Could you do a few SP days to counteract the meals out maybe?

In other news, my leader says there is a wine out that is only 4.5 syns a bottle! On closer questioning apparently it is only 0.5% so I'm having my doubts about it tbh. Leader couldn't remember the name of it though, has anyone else heard of it?

Groovester · 09/05/2017 20:05

Sympathies lemony - I'm the same with bread. Love the stuff but now that I've cut it out my diet, I really notice the difference when I occasionally have some. Blows me up like a balloon! I think it's bread I miss the most... Sad

whereareyousleep · 09/05/2017 21:18

1/2 off for me which isn't too bad as I have been picking for last few days. 4 weeks to holiday and 3lb to go for 2 stone. Away this weekend so not expecting much next week.
I'm not really missing bread much but I really miss cheese hex a amount is just not enough!

Groovee · 09/05/2017 22:09

1.5lb off. Got 2lb to lose for my 2.5st award. Consultant set us a good diary challenge. I hate them. I wanted the HEB one as that's easy for me.

madein1995 · 09/05/2017 22:35

Well done losers! Done pilates tonight, stepped on scales in gym for a look and they said I've maintained so that's annoyed me, I'm being good so I hope I've lost.

Today has been mango, raspberries and strawberries with ff yogurt
Pork stir fry
Cup of milky coffee (half hexa) and 2 choc malted milk biscuits (6syns)
Mini chocolate weetabix (hexb), milk (rest of hexa), strawberries, raspberries
25g chocolate peanuts

Groovee · 09/05/2017 23:08

I did Burlesque tonight. Oh my abs lol

LavenderRainbows · 10/05/2017 07:47

On the subject of bread, I cannot eat any kind of wholemeal. I bloats me, gives me wind and heartburn.
But I can eat any old white crapGrin so thats what I do. For my hexA I just have a slice of white (with real butter syn'd obvs!)
Weigh in for me this morning. Crossing everything as I've not been on it 100% this week.......

BasinHaircut · 10/05/2017 08:35

Thanks guys yeah I'm going to try and stay in weekly syns overall until I hit that target!

And yes I really should try some SP. I do like my carbs so might try SP meals rather than whole days to start. Ease myself in!

I'm unexpectedly at home with a poorly DS today. He just chucked up all over the car! I do not deal with sick very well.

Anyway, I'm going to take the opportunity to do some serious meal planning and online shopping. 2 week meal plan starting from Friday (I'm already planned for this week) working out syns and everything. Going to get some batch cooking done too I think.

Boatsnack · 10/05/2017 10:51

I'm not great with bread either, I have no will power when it comes to bread.

I've not been properly on plan the last couple of days DD has been off school with a cough/cold so lack of peace and lack of sleep has made me lazy on the meal plan front. Shopping has just been delivered though so back on it. I'm hungry but don't know what I want so far I've eaten a banana and some cherry tomatoes.

Groovester · 10/05/2017 11:45

Another morning in the gym for me today. A better work out than Monday's effort. Still on plan. I weigh in tomorrow and should have got rid of some of last week's momentous gain...

ALemonyPea · 10/05/2017 13:11

Well done losers.

Last night, for some reason, I had chocolate digestives and flapjack. I didn't even realise I'd eaten them, was in a sort of, I'm not on a diet trance. Was lovely, but will have to make up for it over the week. Idiot!

FaithAgain · 10/05/2017 15:36

Hope he's better soon Basin.

Argh, frustrating. I've been so good all week. Totally honest, tracking all my syns. I'd say about 90% on plan (been over by 2 syns 2 days). Also done loads of exercise.
Had a cheeky check at home and I don't think I've lost! Putting this down to the fact that AF is due any time. Banking on seeing a bigger loss next week if that's the case.

LavenderRainbows · 10/05/2017 16:05

Well I lost half a poundHmm which I'm OK with as I've had a couple of over syn days.
Need half a pound for my 4.5 Stone certificate. Was hoping I might get it this week but not to be!
B; cheese and tomato omelette (hexA)
D; chicken slices, gherkins, melon and yogurt
T; lamb casserole with a ton of veg, some kind of fresh fruit and a couple of hifi (hexB)

katplva · 10/05/2017 17:05

Hello everyone,
I know I'm a bit late to the party but it is great to read all your updates and slimming world musings! I have been going to slimming world for nearly a year now, lost 2 stone and reached my interim target before Christmas. I've maintained since then but a few weeks ago I decided to go further and try to get down to my proper target.
I'm struggling a bit, and I think my main obstacle is in my mind. I sometimes feel that at least I'm not as big as I was IYKWIM, but that leads to just one more slice of toast, overdoing it on the syns etc...
So I'm hoping to feel the inspiration from you all and keep myself on track for as long as is necessary!

BasinHaircut · 10/05/2017 17:47

kat yep I can totally identify with that. You feel a bit better about yourself and so start getting slack. Fair play for maintaining though, I'm going back up.......Blush

katplva · 10/05/2017 18:16

Absolutely basin - it's (in a purely shallow way!) great to feel more positive about how I look in general and how clothes are fitting - but it means that I'm getting a bit complacent about actually following the plan. And yet I do want to lose this last bit too!

shamoffour · 10/05/2017 21:12

I'm exactly the same basin and Kat I've lost 3 stone and got a bit stuck and list my mojo!

That said I've had a couple of good days with some really nice food. I made linguine with mussels and prawns in a tomato and chilli sauce for dinner last night it was gorgeous.
I had steak with salad and asparagus tonight which was also really good.

ALemonyPea · 11/05/2017 10:52

I've struggled the past two days with picking. Biscuits and flapjack on Tuesday, and yesterday I had some of DHs nachos and cheese sauce at the cinema. Need to get back on it, I'm so pissed off with myself.

The rest of the food has been ok and on plan. Just the picking.
