We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

I've never been able to go off plan for even a day without it affecting me. Although, that Indians I had the other night, I've not put anything on, so pleased with that. Probably because it was a planned night off, and not an ongoing binge eat. DH and I really enjoyed it as haven't had a proper Indian takeaway since last August, so planning on doing it once a month once I'm at target. 6.5 lb to go!

2.5lbs off last week which is amazing considering I ate like rubbish plus an early weigh in as cant make normal group due to change in rota. Lots of exercising though, trying to go 3 times a week plus 2 classes (plan is to go gym Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday this week, and do classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Pilates, Synrgy, functional fitness) although it could change). Am pleased to discover philadephia light especially on ryvitas, and am delighted to discover alpen light bars can be your hexb so I will be buying them! Much more 'dessert' like than the hifi bars (and bigger too Grin)
Calzone that's amazing!

ALemonyPea · 05/05/2017 16:00

Well done Made! That's great.

I love alpen light bars made I bought them even before slimming world.

I'm having one of those days where I just want to eat everything. I've tried to stick to free/speed foods but I just can't stop eating.

ALemonyPea · 05/05/2017 17:17

Made, the fruit ryvita are lovely with Philadelphia and strawberries on top. Sometimes even a little jam or lemon curd as well.

basin, you should never miss out on enjoying yourself! We are here for a good time, not a long time!! Pre children me and dh were out partying every weekend... How I miss it! Blush

I did ww then, and I used to stick to it when I could and when I was out, I was out! Got to target in the end but just took me a long time.

Groovee · 05/05/2017 18:13

I use fruit Ryvita with sliced banana and strawberry.

peachypips · 05/05/2017 18:17

Can I jump on board? Been doing SW for three weeks and have lost 6.5 pounds. I am currently 13st 1 and am aiming for 10 stone maximum. I am 5'3".

ALemonyPea · 05/05/2017 20:18

Good thinking about not putting a holiday in Basin.

Welcome Peachy, and well done on your weight loss so far.

Welcome Peachy.

Zed1707 · 05/05/2017 22:03

Hi @peachypips

I have similar weight to lose.. I was 13st5lb.. lost 5lb first week and second week has been a maintain, which I was ok with as I had a bad week with bank holiday weekend etc..

Hoping to get down to 9.5 stones..

Am struggling a bit this week.. need to plan in advance I think.. (and do a shop)..

trinitybleu · 05/05/2017 22:29

Had an ok day ... was a party day at work so loads of treat fooda knocking around. OH away for the night which usually means a cheeky takeaway but was good Smile

B - melon and a Special K bar
L - Cajun pasta and salad, strawberries and grapes
D - SW chips, egg fried rice (2), onions / mushrooms / peas in sticky sauce (2)
Snacks - 2 choc malted milks (5), choc biscuit (5), Snaps x 2 (7)

OwlinaTree · 05/05/2017 22:39

They do chocolate malted milk biscuits??!! Why was I not told of this??!! Are they awesome and how many syns each?

isaulte · 05/05/2017 22:49

It has taken me 4 weeks to lose 3.5lb. Trying desperately not to blame my advancing age and the fact that I'm "only" trying to lose 16lb but I was advised to stick with it on here and by other friends doing SW. Had a sneaky peek this am and have lost 2lb. Hopefully I can hang onto this until WI Tues. But it has put me in a good mood all day!

Have been very good indeed all week, I work in a school and our cook does SW friendly salads for the staff Smile, but means you can't have the nice bits of a school dinner.

My weakness is wine but have cut that back; what seems to be working for me is not treating carbs as unlimited free, but having once a day only (thanks to advice here).

Good luck to everyone starting on their journey, like me... obviously going to be a bit of a longer slog for me than I expected!

FaithAgain · 06/05/2017 09:08

Morning all! My weight loss has slowed right down as I get closer to target/a healthy weight. I've had a weird few weeks of gain a bit, maintain, lose a couple..in a cycle! I'm doing a couple of SP days alongside my body magic to try to boost the weight loss.

ALemonyPea · 06/05/2017 10:41

Morning losers.

NSV today, remember those size 12 skinny jogging I wanted to be able slide into, well today is that day! No jiggling to get them on, the slid on like a glove. Woohoo!

Isaulte, as you've only a little amount to lose, it will come off slowly. Do you save your syns for the wine, or is it an added extra? What's a rough food diary day for you? Perhaps we can help and add some tips for you.

Meeting friends today in a pub, I will be driving, so just Diet Coke for me. They're maybe eating, but I will have lunch before I go. God I sound so boring. I want to get to target though, so tough, boring I will be until then.

OrianaBanana · 06/05/2017 11:11

Had a maintain after a rough week which I was happy with. The scales flickered on a half pound gain too so that was lucky. Buckling down to it this week.

B - mullerlight, coffee (HExA), clementine
L - ham salad
D - Cuban picadillo (love it!)
S - fruit and highfis

BasinHaircut · 06/05/2017 11:51

Yesterday ended up being off plan. I really am my own worst enemy. Today is off plan too as I'm at a wedding.

In other news DH fractured his foot last night so it looks like our holiday next week is off as he won't be able to do enough walking to make it worth going. I'm just cancelling things we had booked to do while we were away which is quite disheartening!

OwlinaTree · 06/05/2017 12:09

Oh no basin, hope your dh is OK. What a shame you have to cancel.

BasinHaircut · 06/05/2017 12:17

Thanks owl yeah he is fine, just got a big boot and crutches to deal with. The video I just took of him trying to get up the stairs was hilarious, I didn't like to point out he should sit down and do it on his bum Grin

We are gutted about the holiday but have agreed that it really wouldn't be worth going as we would be too limited in what we could do and it was working out quite expensive so would be a waste of money.

Luckily most things I'm able to cancel for a full refund. It's only flights and trains we will have to forefeit.

Groovee · 06/05/2017 16:06

Aw @BasinHaircut, hope he's ok and sorry about your holiday.

🎉🎉 @ALemonyPea fab NSV.

Bought some dresses for my holiday and got 2 in a size 12

PipnJo · 06/05/2017 18:16

1.5lb loss today. That's after the 4lb holiday gain last week!

I've pre-made my lunch's for the week..SW pasta salad. Bit concerned that pasta everyday may be a bit silly? Has anyone had pasta everyday or similar?

ALemonyPea · 06/05/2017 18:42

That is a shame Basin, are you able to rebook it or is it totally lost?

Hurray on the size 12 dresses Groovee.

Well done on the loss Pip.

OwlinaTree · 06/05/2017 19:54

Well done on the NSV lemony and groovee.

Good loss pip, you'll soon be back to where you were.

Groovester · 06/05/2017 20:39

Evening Losers,

After my monumental 6lb loss a week and a half ago and my 4.5 stone award, I (stupidly) took a week off plan completely. Takeaways, a hen night with lots of booze, hangover food (McDonald's which I don't even like!), hot chocolates, crisps, white bread, butter, meals out, Krispy Kreme... you name it, I binge ate it. I basically ate the world. I've also not been to the gym.
I went to class to weigh in knowing it'd be bad but reasoned that if it was under a 6lb gain, I'd be ok.

I. Put. On. 7.5lbs! In a week! Shock

Needless to say I'm very much back on track and being strict again. No syns yesterday and stopping at 6 today.

So basically I'm telling you all that I'm a plonker. A big fat one at that! Wink
