Welcome back Trinity! Sounds like you're getting back into the swing of it.

I didn't think I'd get to group last night but I finished work early enough that I did. My scales (weight watchers ones ironically) are usually similar to SW (weigh me as slightly heavier but usually consistent!). I thought again last night how great group is for me. I'm lucky, I go to a lovely group, they're so supportive. We bounce ideas off each other. I'm so glad I joined. It's worth considering Boat.

Thanks faith I'm not sure if I can reliably get to group and it'll be the summer holidays soon (scotland) and I won't have anyone to watch dd. My scales are rubbish though I think it's because all my floors are a bit bouncy maybe I could put them out on the back step but then I'd need to change my weigh in to the middle of the night to avoid the neighbours.

I'm pretty sure they're free. It they're not on my list of free vegetables?! I'm trying to work out where I need to write them on my food diary...

Hi everyone. Hope it's okay if I join in? I've been following this thread religiously for months but never felt confident enough to join in for some reason. I've been doing Slimming World by myself from home since the end of January and I've lost two stone so far - nearly at target. You have all really helped me from afar. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks!

Peas are a protein food, not speed. They are free though! They're in the pulses part of the free food list, not the vegetable part.

Sad Basin

Went out for lunch with OH and had prawn jacket with some Marie Rose sauce and then cajun pasta for tea with big salad. Syns - 2 x Oreos (5), Marie Rose sauce (2?), mayo on dinner (2), veggie sushi (2.5)

Going to bed soon to avoid snacking. I can do this!

Sorry basin. So frustrating. If you look back over your week are there any off plan days? Is it a hangover from the previous week, I often get that.

Sorry to hear about unexpected gain Basin . I'm struggling as I have to be super strict to lose a tiny amount, and then it goes back on the minute I have a special occasion and go off plan. It was my bday this week and my boss bought me cake and I had to pretend to be pleased! Fed up with thinking about every mouthful Sad
Today's been good food wise however, need to stay positive!
Lovely dinner of steak, onions, actifry butternut squash chips, tenderstem broccoli and green beans, synned some lf Mayo and mustard.
Lunch hardboiled eggs and loads raw veggies
Breakfast quinoa porridge + berries. Fruit after school pick-up: the danger zone! Just realised not had HeB .
Tough body pump session at gym, my shoulders are on fire!

I lost 2lb this week, although that's just 1lb a week as I didn't weigh in last week. I will take that loss tho!
Total loss is now 4 stone 6.
10lb to target unless I change it

I must try those eggy muffins, they sound good. Thanks for the recipe

I'm going to be a day late weighing for my first week and I've been away for 4 out of the 8 days... Will I break slimming world history if I put on weight in my first week ? Bloody starving right now !

As my sw success story has stalled, I'm trying something new.

A combination of SW5:2 - 2 fast days a week and the rest was sw food but keeping at 1500 Cala day.

The results came in and I lost 5LBS on week 1!! 🎉🎊🎈🎉🎊🎈

Thanks all, I did have 1 'not totally in plan' and 1 off plan day but not to the extent that I wouldn't have expected to be able to pull it back for at least a maintain.

Oh well. I bloody blew out and orders a takeaway last night coz I was so pissed off. Back on it today though but I'm at a wedding this weekend and staying in a hotel so will have a nice meal, drinks and then a fry up the next morning.

If I'm honest I am getting quite slack with it and think a back to basics week is in order after my holiday which is from next Saturday for 6 days.

Basin, you're near target right? It might be that you will out on with the slightest bit off plan. I'd take a holiday next week after the weekend you're having. Hope you enjoyed your takeaway.

Meeting a friend today for coffee. Made myself some blueberry baked oats and will take those instead of having a cake.

lemony well I was 2.5lbs from target, now I'm 4.5lbs away!

I won't take holiday next week, just do what I can, as I'm away on actual holiday the week after and I need the threat of weigh in next week to keep me on plan the rest of next week!

I'm going to mentally start again when I get back though. I'll have 4 weeks between that holiday and the next one to hopefully be right on it - no excuses.

It gets harder as you get lighter I think! Did you have a hen party last week? Sometimes I have a gain a week later annoyingly. I'm having a good week this week, but as I was on holiday the previous week I won't be surprised if I sts or have a gain this week, it's just how my body seems to process things.

Another gain here - just one lb, but AF is here and I was out for posh date night on Wednesday night (which was bloody delicious and well worth it). Had a not-so-on-plan lunch on Thursday but then got back on it last night with my go-to fave of salmon and roasted mediterranean vegetables. And I'll be entirely on-plan today.

Got some "body magic" I hate that term planned for the weekend no, not that, you filthy minded fuckers doing some leafletting for the General Election.

Basin it gets SO much harder the nearer you are to target. Whereas at the start I could have a night or two off plan and not worry, now I really have to watch everything. But I KNOW that it works so these days I don't stress about it and just crack on doing the plan 80% of the time. I do need to pull my finger out and get back into target though because I don't like paying for SW any more Grin

Today's plan:

B: Eggy muffins
L: Ham and egg salad, apple, pear, satsumas
D: Sausages (M&S skinny, 1/2 syn each) with mash, veg, onion gravy
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

owl yeah I had a hen do the previous week and lost half a pound so maybe it is a delay.

em yeah it's getting hard to lose and have any time off plan, but I cannot commit to it enough to miss out in enjoying myself and it's just been an event packed couple of months.

We are TTC too and I'd like to get to target before I do if I can, although in the back of my mind I'm saying it doesn't matter because I'll gain if I get up the duff so what's a few pounds. I am my own worst enemy sometimes Confused
