We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Glad you had a good time @OwlinaTree

Lucky you @Groovee I'm hoping I can fit into some of my holiday stuff too.. I've got til august so fingers crossed.. have also had a bad weekend.. went out to eat last night with the whole family, so over indulged and now regret.. on the plus side none of the dessert places could accommodate such a large group so we had to skip dessert Wink

Zed1707 · 01/05/2017 10:26

@BasinHaircut was the weather good at the seaside.. was quite windy here

Groovee · 01/05/2017 10:29

Aww Basin, hope you feel better today.

Lol Zed.

Just chilling here today. Only food plans are turkey burgers for tea. May do scrambled egg and bacon for lunch x

latedecember1963 · 01/05/2017 11:15

Welcome home Owlina. Your holiday diet sounds right up my street!
We were at a 100th birthday party yesterday where I chose mainly sensibly from the buffet apart from the trifle.
Quick weigh and go this morning and I've lost 1/2 lb. Only 2 1/2 lbs until I've lost a stone. 11 weeks until we go on holiday and I'm hoping to have lost 1 1/2 stones by then.
Groovee, I long ago gave up on clothes from 2008 but you have reminded me of a dress I wore on holiday 2 years ago that was "snug" that has hung in the wardrobe ever since. You've inspired me to go and try it on!

Groovee · 01/05/2017 13:34

@latedecember1963 let us know how you get on. I have clothes in this drawer I have no idea where it came from.

BasinHaircut · 01/05/2017 13:46

zed it was breezy and mainly overcast but not cold. We had a lovely day but wasn't sitting in he sun with half a lager weather at all!

Today I have been quite productive. I've batch cooked some bolognese (which I've just had some of over a jacket spud for lunch), I've made a syn free gravy for dinner (and it's lovely) and prepped all the veg ready for later.

I've also done a Joe Wicks workout, mended the garden fence and changed the beds. I'm off out in a minute to buy a steam mop. I believe it's the only answer to my forever dirty white kitchen floor.

ALemonyPea · 01/05/2017 14:00

We are going to DIsneyland Paris in August, and all I've done for the last two weeks is look at food places there and pick what I'm having from each place, including the little ice cream and cake shops haha. I'll be at target then, but I'll probably come back a stone heavier. That's what holidays are for though.

It's freezing here today. Wish the warmer weather would hurry up.

Owl what are holidays for if not enjoying yourself. Just get straight back on plan now and you'll be fine!

Late My name is emwithme and I am a buffetaholic. Even if I'm not hungry, I love a buffet. All that pastry and bread and OMNOMNOM. Food is why I am fat. I love food!

Groovee I am actually a bit small for my favourite summer shorts (white with candy stripes) - I've had them for over 10 years now and have probably been able to wear them for three summers during that time! They should be fine this summer. When I got to target I sorted my clothes out into "fit me now" (which went into wardrobes/drawers), "a little bit big but will fit me when I'm a bit pregnant" which went into the under-bed drawers and "These are giant" most of which - excepting my Fattest Trousers which I can actually fit me down one leg of - went to the charity shop.

I am now on CD30, still feeling pukey (about 10 days now) and now have bloodhound nose, but still getting BFNs. This is SO frustrating. If I'm not pregnant, that's fine (we'll try again next month) but if I'm not I need to see a doctor about why I've felt nauseous for a week!

Zed1707 · 01/05/2017 17:18

Does anyone know of any cereal bar type things that are free or no syn?

Groovee · 01/05/2017 17:43

Alpine Light bars or benefit light bars from Aldi are Healthy Extras. It's 2 or they are 3 syns each x

Zed1707 · 01/05/2017 18:16

Thanks groovee 👍🏼

BasinHaircut · 01/05/2017 18:18

zed I tried the benefit ones this week and thought they were disgusting! Jut tasted if sweetner and nothing else.

I much prefer the alpen lights

latedecember1963 · 01/05/2017 18:47

I tried on a dress from a couple of summers back and it looks much better & will definitely be good for when we go on hols. Also spotted another dress while I was rummaging through the wardrobe. More of a smart work dress but it must be at least 4 years since I last wore it. It's escaped wardrobe culls because although I got it in a sale it was still quite expensive and I was reluctant to admit I hadn't had my money's worth out of it. It zips up comfortably and will be one my items to aim to wear by autumn when hopefully I'll have toned up my saggy stomach.
Em, I'm a foodie too. That's why I like the SW approach because we are allowed to enjoy food and the emphasis is on what we can have rather than going without. Fingers crossed for you on the baby front!

ALemonyPea · 01/05/2017 19:29

Em, you might be pregnant, just not as far as you think, as you may have ovulated later with you not long having your miscarriage. Be kind to yourself 💐

Groovee · 01/05/2017 19:38

Em, be kind to yourself honey x

Zed1707 · 01/05/2017 19:57

Big hugs Em.. was sick through both pregnancies so remember how awful you feel..

Thanks @BasinHaircut for the heads up.. I even picked up the alpen light but wasn't sure if it was any good..

And thanks to whoever recommended the Danone light and free.. they're very nice..

emwithme · 01/05/2017 21:22

Not pregnant. Oh well. That is (honestly) fine. We can try again next month.

Am going to a Consultant Opportunities Event tomorrow night which should be interesting. Not sure if I actually want to be a consultant but before I decide that I need to see if financially it will make any sense!

LavenderRainbows · 01/05/2017 22:42

zed I actually like the hifi bars. You can have them as heXB or 3 syns. My favourite are the mint or the new mocha flavours.

Zed1707 · 01/05/2017 22:48

Thanks @LavenderRainbows

Feeling crampy and very PMT Angry Need something comforting but trying to stay away from the chocs

Groovee · 02/05/2017 08:28

Good luck Em.

Dreamt I lost 7.5lb. I'm in for a huge disappointment.

ALemonyPea · 02/05/2017 09:42

💐Em. Good luck at the event. I might go to the next one.

WI for me today. Starving, but will have to wait until I'm weighed.

Boatsnack · 02/05/2017 10:50

lemony fx for weigh in

I pretty much ate all my syns for the week yesterday on mcdonalds then wine. So I'm going to try a few SP days this week. Just completed week 5 run 2 of couch to 5k so at least my body magic is still on track.

shamoffour · 02/05/2017 11:04

Owlina welcome home
Em finger crossed for next month and good luck at the event
Zed basin is right some of the Aldi bars are rank but the chocolate and fudge ones are really good if you can find them

Well I finally feel back to normal after a three day hangover!!Blush during which I ate ALL the food!
Back on plan, weigh tomorrow I'm not expecting a loss but I need to hit it hard for the next four weeks as I'm going on holiday and I WILL be half a stone lighter.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 02/05/2017 12:02

1lb off for me this morning, 1.5lbs to go for my 2 stone award so hopefully next week for that!

Good luck to everyone else weighing in today Smile

ALemonyPea · 02/05/2017 13:32
