We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Not really on plan this week and have PMT, somehow lost 1/2 lb. How? Why? Totally inexplicable. Now back at the same weight I was at the beginning of March. Sigh.

Not going to worry about it until I'm back from holiday in mid-May.

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 29/04/2017 19:55

I've never been to Subway, sometimes my colleagues go and get things that look as though they've got about 10000 calories in them. Is it any particular salads that are ok?

Groovee · 29/04/2017 20:13

They do chicken tikka, ham, beef, turkey and I think chicken teriyaki is free too. Fill up on free salad such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber, gherkin, pepper and I think jalapeños too. Tuna would need to be synned. Watch out for dressings. I get mine in a side pot to add a couple of spoonfuls myself.

madein1995 · 29/04/2017 23:55

1lb off today Grin in bad news, have eaten 37.5 syns today Shock that's over the minimum amount for the week in one day! Firmly back on it tmorrow. Feel rubbish now too. Have done a meal plan for the week so going to stick to it and tomorrows a new day and all that. And plenty of exercise must be done!

tiddycakes1960 · 30/04/2017 02:45

Hi to anyone who is reading this message . As I was still up and awake , well awake-ish ,I thought that I would take this opportunity to give my Slimming World group a LITTLE PLUG!!! I belong to the Lewsey SW group , and our fearless leader is the delightfully wonderful Cathy Bavister. The group of ladies and gents are a really warm friendly crowd. Together alongside Cathy, they've helped and encouraged me to lose a podgy 6lbs 8ozs in just two weeks. The best thing is that I didn't even notice I was losing it . And the only other great thing about being with SW is that I've noticed that I'm eating much more healthily, and so are my children(even though they're not little anymore). So why not pop along .We all like to see new faces.:-)

Zed1707 · 30/04/2017 03:10

BasinHaircut · 30/04/2017 07:31

Morning all.

Well Friday was ok apart from the slice of cake that I had. Yesterday was a disaster. Went to a little cafe for lunch and the selection was really shite. Had a cheese and onion toastie on white bread. Although it was served with some salad Grin

Then dinner was from the kebab shop and I had donner meat and chips. Didn't eat that much if it TBH but I feel like shite this morning because of it. Wish I'd had a chicken shish but i think because I'd already blown it yesterday I thought 'fuck it'. Then I had some chocolates and 2 beers. Massive regret this morning.

Am going to the seaside today until tomorrow and I know there will be temptation everywhere and I'm not gonna lie, I will have either lunch or dinner out and it's not gonna be on plan, but Monday I'm going to be 100% on it because I do not want to gain this week even though at this rate I'd fully deserve it.

LavenderRainbows · 30/04/2017 11:45

basin just enjoy yourself at the seaside! I had kebab meat on Fri and was surprised that it was much less syns than fish and chips. I weighed mine saddo & it was 9.5 syns. I had salad but no bread thingy.
Just off to work so have a mugshot and mango for snack. Had eggs on toast and melon for brunch.

Ps I've name changed slightly as for some reason I couldn't get into my account Confused it's all OK now tho so I will just keep this name.
Have a good bank holiday everyone!

didireallysaythat · 30/04/2017 13:25

70g of light Philadelphia is a MASSIVE amount. Covered the two ryvita and the apple I had with it for lunch. It's crazy.

OrianaBanana · 30/04/2017 13:41

Ooh I like the light Philadelphia. I have it with sweet chilli sauce (1.5 syns for a tbsp) and carrot sticks.

Feeling awful today, no idea why. Not eaten much as a result.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 30/04/2017 14:53

A nsv for me this weekend! I ended up on antibiotics on Friday for mastitis and the doctor mentioned wearing a well fitting bra so I remeasured myself and ordered a new one from Amazon.

I wasn't convinced I'd measured right as it was taking me from 36G/38FF to 32H but the new one actually fits!!

slightly embarrassed now by the thought that my old one was obviously so badly fitting that the GP thought he should mention it though Blush

Boatsnack · 30/04/2017 14:57

By some miracle I have lost 3lbs 🎉🎉🎉 Seriously need to reign in the wine next week though.

I'm another fan of philidelphia light sometimes when I need a quick dinner I cook pasta, a bag of steam fresh vegetables and add a spoon of philidelphia light so good.

OrianaBanana · 30/04/2017 15:09

Dave did you use the boob or bust measurement? Mastitis can be aggravated by an ill-fitting bra, you have my sympathies, it's horrible. Get well soon Flowers

Well done Boatsnack

OrianaBanana · 30/04/2017 15:10

(I mentioned BOB as Bravissimo gave me a 36E and BOB gave me a 32H)

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 30/04/2017 15:14

Oriana boob or bust gave me a measurement of 30J! Bra guru's better bra campaign page gave me 32H so I went for the bigger back - i don't think i would be able to get a 30 back fastened the 32 is quite snug but comfortable

emwithme · 30/04/2017 15:31

Dave what's the band like on its own (try it backwards so the cups are on your back and pull out) - how far does it pull? There's not much difference between a 32H and a 30J (pretty much sister sizes) so if the band test gives you more than an inch or so, I'd try the 30J. (BoB-measured 34H here and my boobs aren't even particularly big, but the bras fit so...)

I am still feeling pukey but not POAS-ing again until tomorrow. I am motivating myself right now by watching the Biggest Loser USA Season 17 finale. and lusting over Bob, even though he's gay

ALemonyPea · 30/04/2017 16:27

Well done losers

I definitely need new bras, but waiting to get to target before I buy.

Em, I watched the finale the other day. Such inspirational people, I wonder how many of them manage to keep it off though.

Well done losers.Star

dave I had a bra fitting in Debenhams after losing 4 stone.
I went from 40DD (which I sort of measured myself years ago) Blush
I am now the proud owner of a 36f boobage.
It is so comfortable and my sillouette is much perkierGrin
The lady in Debenhams was really good,

OwlinaTree · 30/04/2017 18:35

All this talk of bras! I can't wait to stop bf so I can wear a proper bra again. My bf bras don't fit very well, but I'm too tight to buy any new ones as hopefully I'll only be feeding for a few more months.

Well I'm back from holiday! Had a fab time. Was not sticking to plan as such, no counting of syns etc, but did try to eat as much free food as possible from the buffet, lots of fruit etc. The third speed was easy as I could fill my plate with salad first then get whatever else I fancied. Of course it's never like home as I expect the veg and spuds had butter in, there was probably a lot more oil on meat etc, but I feel I ate well, had treats but didn't just have piles of crap for the sake of it iyswim.

Had lots of beer and milky coffee and ice cream too! Expecting a gain on Tuesday!

Back on plan today.
B scrambled egg and porridge with berries
L jacket spud, prawns, salad, seafood sauce (? syns)
S Apple
T chilli and rice, bit of cheese, berries and yoghurt, maybe a freddo?

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/04/2017 19:02

Thanks for the Subway info Groovee, will remember that for next time I forget to make a packed lunch.

Groovee · 30/04/2017 20:30

Welcome back Owlina.

I'd gone shopping yesterday and struggled to find things that I liked. Dd suggested going through my too small clothes from 2008's holiday and my God most fit 😱.

ALemonyPea · 30/04/2017 20:57

Holidays are meant to be enjoyed Owl. Glad yours was.

Woohoo on the holiday clothes Groovee. Wish I had clothes from when I was thin to try on, sadly that was 15 years ago.

Bad weekend here. Chinese takeaway on Friday night (and I didn't choose sensibly) then a friend's hen night yesterday. Far too much booze. Shots. Lots of shots. On a plus note I was so drunk I didn't eat anything from the buffet (swings and roundabouts!) Anyway, hungover today so have eaten the world (including McDonalds). Back on it in the morning. Need to rein it in until Thursday!

OwlinaTree · 30/04/2017 22:40

That's great groovee, nothing better than getting into the old favourites!

BasinHaircut · 01/05/2017 07:11

Glad you had a nice time owlina. If you didn't have a gain after a holiday you'd be doing something wrong I reckon! Grin

Well had a lovely day at the seaside yesterday. Ended up coming home rather than staying because I felt a bit sick from the burger, chips and donuts and just wanted to be home. Is mad how much eating a bit too much grease effects me these days.

On the plus side, being home this morning means that I can be on plan fully and easily today so I've got a full 4 days to hopefully undo any damage from the weekend.
