We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

Sham don't be too hard on yourself.

Welcome happy. I have some of your issues, having a terrible IBS flare up today Confused Generally though I've been loads better since I started SW in October.

Zed I know Muller lights are all the rage in SW but I hate the synthetic taste! Maybe it's the aspartame? We tend to buy Onken fat free vanilla. It's 5 syns for a huge pot (450g) but tastes gorgeous.

I'm feeling so ropey. Barely slept from 3am due to digestive issues. DH is likely to be home late too so I think I'll just weigh in and not stay tonight.

Zed1707 · 26/04/2017 17:27

@BasinHaircut woohoo.. will treat myself to a corner..

Thanks for that

@FaithAgain You poor thing. Hope you feel better soon..

I don't even like diet drinks cos of the sweetener taste but having diet 7up really cold so can't taste it as much if I need something fizzy..

Had some galaxy choc so gonna have to make sure I don't have any syns with my dinner..

I'll try the onken too.. lol

@ALemonyPea I might try the strawberry one.. sounds good and if they're free I can snack on them when I'm feeling peckish.. like now!!!! For me it's this time when I feel like snacking, so usually I'd have a cup of tea and some biscuits or cake etc.. so fruit and a yoghurt would prob help..

@Shamoffour better luck next week Hun.. I guess not every week is the same..

maygirl · 26/04/2017 19:32

Well done losers!
Was really starving today after work, could just not satisfy my hunger . Probably cos was dreaming of my dinner all day, on plan lasagne using Calzone's recipe cauliflower white sauce!

B HeB grapenuts + quark, tsp fruit spread, 0.5 syn, apple
L ham salad with roast peppers
Satsumas
Intense snacking on beetroot + ham, carrots, apple, yogurt with tsp choc shot 0.5 syn + 1 syn of mixed seeds , + 1 oatcake 2 syns
D lasagne and carrots, loads of veg + lentils in the mince too, cauli in white sauce, heA cheese + 3 syns
Milk in coffee 3 syns

Good luck everyone weighing in tonight!

isaulte · 26/04/2017 19:47

Latedecember1963 thank you for letting me know about your similar start!

I cracked last night and had a Curly Wurly (well within syns allowance though) and my first choc in three weeks was heaven! Really made me appreciate it.

I was on a course today with lunch supplied (wraps, sandwiches, crisps, pastries). However I suspected what would be on offer and took my own ham salad and fruit. I will be polishing my halo later....

happyandhealthyme · 26/04/2017 20:04

Thanks for the welcome basin. We have pretty big bowls so when I measured out 45g of bran flakes this morning I was surprised by how small it looked! I must have been having at least 60g all this time Blush

Thank you also Faith. I hope you feel better soon. Glad to hear SW has helped though. My IBS seems to flare up randomly. Normally with red meat but I had bit of cheese pizza last week and I was in so much pain afterwards. Bread is usually pretty safe so I don't know why that happened. Hopefully a better diet will make the flare ups few and far between Smile

BasinHaircut · 26/04/2017 20:55

I'm so hungry I haven't had dinner yet! Had some errands to run after work and by the time I got DS to bed dinner didn't go on until almost 8:30 so I'm sitting here staring at the oven and dribbling.

On a completely separate note I think I've developed piles Confused. (Sorry, TMI)

Zed1707 · 26/04/2017 20:59

@BasinHaircut oh no.. poor you.. I had them once during pregnancy.. wouldn't wish them on anyone.. try some anusol.. or get to your docs asap..

madein1995 · 26/04/2017 21:01

Hello Smile I've been on here before, bobbing back on. I've been doing SW since January (not 100% until the last fortnight) and got my stone award this week Grin 6.5 pounds of that loss were in the last fortnight, and I've got my act together. I'm keeping an eye on my calories as well, but plenty of speed and free foods, I've bought a food diary and have become an instagram bore which keeps me on track. I've upped my exercise and try to only 'treat' myself twice a week although that did backfire last night when I left it too long between meals and ended up binging, 21.5 syns which isn't too bad as far as binges go. Having a 0 syn day today to compensate. According to my plan/eating on other days, I'll fall well within my syns for this week so hopefully there won't be a gain or maintain on the scale. Is star week this week too. Also, a practical question too. The only body pump class I can go to is Sat morning before WI, but I'm a bit worried if doing so will mean the number on the scale is higher. Does anyone have experience of exercising before WI? I still wouldn't eat before WI, would drink water and then eat after WI as I usually do.
Today has been good -
L - I missed breakfast, so had leftover stir fry. Roast oriental pork pieces from tesco (which I couldn't believe was free), with aubergine, courgette, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, noodles and soy sauce and different herbs so syn free.
Snack - An apple and a few dollops of the Lemon muller light (is lush, I'm eating so much of it)
T - Pasta with courgette, mushrooms, tomato, peppers, onion and the new SW creamy tomato sauce and 40g light cheese (hexa). The sauce was nice, I did have to add extra herbs but I will buy it again.
Snack - 1 salted caramel hifi and 1 mocha hifi (hexb)
Plenty of flavoured water to drink

BasinHaircut · 26/04/2017 21:36

Thanks zed yes I've got some and have started using it. Will give it a week and then docs if no better.

Welcome Back 1995! You might retain a bit of water in your muscles directly after exercise but if you do the same every week you will still see your losses overall.

emwithme · 26/04/2017 22:33

Well apart from yesterday's flexible syns for chippy last night (which I made up for by having Very Few Syns for the rest of the week) I have actually made it On Plan for the whole week and am Very Proud of myself Halo . We shall see whether this is reflected on the scales tomorrow morning.

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 27/04/2017 07:16

2.6lb off for me, but I can't take full credit as I have had a tummy bug and am probably still dehydrated.

ALemonyPea · 27/04/2017 10:56

Welcome back 1995.

Well done on the week on plan Em 🎉🎉🎉

Freezing cold today, could easily crawl under my duvet for the day. Pesky kids need picked up from school though.

I am in shock fellow losers. A massive 6lbs off this morning and my 4.5 stone award. After the last few weeks of being on holiday and Easter, I've been a bit rubbish but have made a concerted effort this week to note syns properly and up my speed. What I've eaten hasn't really changed but I have eaten A LOT of melon. I've also not been to my regular gym sessions because of a twisted knee. An interesting result and apart from my first week where I lost 7.5lbs, my biggest weekly loss to date. Completely cheesing it and praying the hen night I'm involved in on Saturday won't bollocks everything up for next week! Grin

Well done Groove that's bloody epic.

I am super-thrilled with 3.5 lbs off this week, only 2 lbs to go to get back in target.

Groovester · 27/04/2017 13:43

Well done right back em

Star
BasinHaircut · 27/04/2017 13:58

Good work team!

I'm hoping these good results run off on me for tonight. Nothing as much as 3.5 or 6lbs but a loss anyway!

Just had lunch really late (for me) so hopefully that will tide me over till weigh in. I've got an apple for later but that's my lot.

Need to make the switch back to Monday weigh ins at some point too. Couple more weeks of avoiding the immediate post-weekend weigh in to get through yet and then I'll switch back.

Zed1707 · 27/04/2017 14:21

Well done @Groovester .. that's fab..

Well done @emwithme as well..

So I did my first weigh in today and I'm in absolute shock that I've lost 5lb.. (doing a little happy dance) Wink hope I can keep it off!!

This forum has really helped me keep on track..

emwithme · 27/04/2017 14:42

Well done Zed

LavenderRains · 27/04/2017 15:27

ALemonyPea · 27/04/2017 16:31

Wow, well done Em and Groovster. Fab loses for both of you.

I probably won't lose anything next week, keep nibbling on left over Easter eggs in the fridge. Must stop!

Groovee · 27/04/2017 16:57

Well done on the losses. They are brilliant x

Boatsnack · 27/04/2017 17:07

Well done on the losses everyone 🎉🎉

I made cottage pie for dinner tonight and snuck in extra veg carrot, onion and leek. Dd said it was the best cottage pie ever and I am totally stuffed.

OrianaBanana · 27/04/2017 17:20

Wow well done everyone!

I've sworn to be on plan 100% today before WI tomorrow which is just as well because I've just supervised DS making a chocolate cake and I can smell it baking Sad I'll have to clart Nutella on it as I don't like nutella.

I made sushi for the taster though so quite proud of that.

B - weetabix and coffee (HExA and B)
L - poached egg on toast at a cafe, quite thick toast and one slice (of two) was white so I've counted two HExBs and 4.5 syns. Butter, 4 syns
D - pulled pork with jacket potato and salad
S - some sugarsnap peas, seafood sticks, clementine, babybel (HExA) latte (HExA). Freddo (4.5), biscuit (2)

Finishing (I hope) on 15 (phew!) Been fighting against myself all day. You know some days your heart's just not in it?

AgathaMystery · 27/04/2017 18:48

Wow some amazing losses on here! 2.5lb off for me plus 3 runs & just under 100,000 steps for the week.

I'm craving macaroni cheese. It's ridiculous.

happyandhealthyme · 27/04/2017 20:04

Second day on SW and going well so far. Walked the 45 mins to DS's school rather than driving (we did take the bus back though). Had a pack of crisps (4 Syns) because they were calling me but I've eaten really well the rest of the day. Still not drinking enough water but I will keep at it. I've made a meal plan for shopping tomorrow. I've had a little look at the SW recipes online but I'm mostly just adapting the ones I usually make by using leaner meat, more veg and Frylight! (which really stinks btw)
