We are all hiding in here, away from the hot cross buns and Easter eggs.

Welcome all, old and new.

0.4lb off for me this week, I have eaten quite a bit of chocolate so I'm pretty pleased with that.

OwlinaTree · 20/04/2017 22:51

The bikinis arrived! They fit luckily and so I am now ready for my holiday. After a couple of fraught days trying to shop for the kids and sort through piles of clothing I think I'm pretty much there. It's only a week, so don't really need much, but it's all the worrying about beds for the kids and sun cream and how warm will it be etc etc.

I'm managing to stay on plan (just about!) over these last days, I'm planning to stick to it till Saturday, then I'll have the holiday, then back on it Sunday, Monday, Tuesday till weigh in. So over two weeks it's one week and a day off plan, hoping that will be damage limitation!

Looking forward to those all inclusive cocktails!! Grin

emwithme · 21/04/2017 09:42

I went to bed last night rather than eat! I wasn't actually hungry (because if I had been, I would've eaten something) but my mouth was about to be bored so I went to bed! It was nearly bedtime anyway and I just didn't want to dive into a bowl of peanuts or some cheese and crackers for the sake of it!

Today's plan:

B: Eggy muffins
L: Leek & potato soup, apple, pear, satsuma
D: Left over bolognaise (possibly with squoodles if I get to the shop, pasta if not)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars or apricots. Will decide later.

I have been convinced to go to a Consultant Opportunity Event in a couple of weeks...still not sure whether being a Consultant will be for me, but it's actually in my town (rather than being a 90 minute drive away) for the first time in 18 months so I may as well go and see what all the fuss is about.

ALemonyPea · 21/04/2017 10:01

😁at your mouth being bored Em.

My consultant keeps asking me to go to a consultant opportunity event, not sure I'd want to be one, it seems so tying. Plus there is the start up fee.

I am constantly cold at the moment, can't seem to get warm at all. Getting right on my nerves.

em I have the same issue with my mouth getting bored at night, I have been in bed early every day since I started.

I finally bought batteries for my scales and I weigh 16st 1 3/4. I estimated 16st 3 as my start weight so it's a loss although not very accurate.

I don't have to officially weigh till Sunday though.

Any tips for getting through nightshift my colleagues seem to provide an endless supply of sweets and cake.

OwlinaTree · 21/04/2017 11:30

Cant believe af has arrived the day before I go on holiday! Angry what timing! First one since dd was born too so bound to be long and horrible Sad.

Groovee · 21/04/2017 12:02

Oh Owlina 😢

Go for it Em. Always wondered how much it was to start up.

LavenderRains · 21/04/2017 12:05

owlina that sucks! I guess not much you can do at this late stage, used to always happen to meAngry

boat I do night shifts, and used to survive on chocolate all night!
Nowadays I take a meal, something like chicken and rice and have it about midnight, then have a yogurt and some strawberries for sweetness. I also take a hifi bar & diet coke for emergency purposeGrin
It helps if it's a busy night too!

BasinHaircut · 21/04/2017 12:06

boat my approach to the treat box at work is to move it somewhere less obvious and just tell yourself it doesn't exist. Tell people not to offer you anything when they dip in, and take lots of free/speed snacks to stop yourself getting too hungry.

I know what you mean em about your mouth getting bored. It's a nightmare.

AgathaMystery · 21/04/2017 12:21

Hi all - I am back at SW after a war off. I lost 1.5stone in 2015 & felt great. Then I had a couple of weeks gaining (after going for a yr) & never went back. A yr later I am heavier than before!

Back to it then!

LavenderRains · 21/04/2017 12:30

Welcome agatha I think keeping the weight off is the toughest part! I'm sure you will soon get into the swing of things again.
There's lots of support on hereFlowers

HeyToTheHo · 21/04/2017 12:41

@SailAwaySailAwaySailAway I am doing online only and finding it fine.

I can't commit to going to group each week due to my/DH's work commitments.

This thread is my group Grin

HeyToTheHo · 21/04/2017 12:44

WI tomorrow so chicken salad for lunch (1syn for dressing)

Having drinks with friends tonight so saving syns today for wine so planning pasta with plenty of Tom sauce for dinner

Hoping for 3-4lb off (sneaky weigh this am suggests I am currently 3lb down on last week - would bring total lost in 4 weeks to 10lb. Fingers crossed

SailAwaySailAwaySailAway · 21/04/2017 13:48

Thanks Hey
As far as I can see, the benefits are the recipes to print out and give to whoever's cooking/shopping this week and the access to the calculator for 'syns' etc.
I've done SW years ago and really didn't like the groups.

HeyToTheHo · 21/04/2017 14:14

You get full access to online if you join a group anyway HTH

I just can't be arsed to go to a group Smile even if I had work that would accommodate it

00100001 · 21/04/2017 14:25

My plan for the week has been to be as super speedy as possible.

today's plan:
B: Omelette with onion, courgette, peppers, tomatoes and baked beans
L: Spring vegetable soup, mackerel with salad
D: Gosh! Chickpea, Courgette & Moroccan Spiced Bakes (2.5syns) - with veggies form the freezer :)
Snacks: apples
Syns: 2 mini muffins - 10

total syns: 12.5 syns

OrianaBanana · 21/04/2017 14:54

2lbs off and slimmer of the week so I'm pleased with that! 1 stone 4lbs off altogether.

I was so pleased that I went and had a piece of cake afterwards Confused which was lovely although I feel sick now as I'd had a big on-plan lunch. Back on the straight and narrow with left over pasta bolognese and speed veg for dinner.

HeyToTheHo · 21/04/2017 15:53

Might try that next week 001

well done Oriana

00100001 · 21/04/2017 16:21

well done oriana :D

ALemonyPea · 21/04/2017 16:28

Oh Owl, that sucks! Can you get some tranexamic acid from the GP to stop it while you're on holiday? Not sure if you can take it while BF though.

Well done Oriana.

OP posts:
OwlinaTree · 21/04/2017 17:13

I thought that bf would be enough to keep it away but sadly not. Hey ho.

Well done oriana!

Boatsnack · 21/04/2017 18:18

Well done oriana

owl that's rubbish I hope it's not too bad.

Thanks for the nightshift tips, we get set breaks so I think I might hide in a corner especially if anyone who bakes is in this weekend

maygirl · 21/04/2017 18:44
