I have put on a stone since Christmas and need to start to make an effort to get rid of it before we get to warmer weather.

I'm going to post here as if I were at group, so if anyone wants to join in, that would be great Smile I have weighed myself this morning and will post regular hopefully minus figures each week. Feel free to share your figures, or not.

If nobody responds, then I guess I am talking to myself, but still...

Shape - I tried your method today and... a perfect omelette. You are an eggy genius!

MyHomeHasPeculiarChildren · 07/04/2017 09:16

I always try to flip mine Shape, you're right, it never works! Grin I shall resist next time.
4 whole days on plan so far this week, which is more than I've managed in ages. School holidays next week though where it all goes to pot!

Groovee · 07/04/2017 10:54

I've found the first week of our holidays ok. Could probably do with more fruit but these antibiotics need and empty tummy, so can't just graze like I would normally x

MrsWembley · 07/04/2017 11:22

Antibiotics on an empty stomach! That's a bit shit, GrooveeSad

I have never tried to flip an omelette! I wouldn't even know where to begin Grin I do, however, just as it starts to set, draw in the sides a little, to allow excess runny stuff to slip down to the edge. But yes, I have discovered that leaving them to get on with cooking produces a much fluffier end product.

Can anyone help with a syn query, please? I have been given a Malteaster as a thank-you and before I go diving in, I would like to know the cost! I'm out for a few synful drinks tonight and so if it's too great I might save it for tomorrow...

Gah WI this morning - after a week completely on plan I haven't lost a thing.

I'm a bit frustrated! Anyone else had this?

Am visiting family from Monday so will have less control over what I eat at main meals but will do my best.

Groovee · 08/04/2017 07:53

@HeyToTheHo I was 100% on plan one week an stayed the same. I was raging. My friend told me to calm down. The next couple of weeks I lost 5.5lb so over 3 weeks it wasn't a bad loss.

MrsWembley · 08/04/2017 08:20

Thanks, Owlina!

Hey, don't stress. Listen to Groovee, I've had similar happen. Carry on and if you're unsure about it all, the best thing to do is keep a food diary. Then you suddenly notice all the little mouthfuls of this and that. But it probably is just a sort of delayed reaction. It happens to me sometimes.Smile

HeyToTheHo · 08/04/2017 10:39

Thanks groovee and mrsW I have chilled out now Blush

Will stick to plan as best I can this week in spite of MIL's obsession with cream based sauces

I have been keeping a food diary since last Saturday on your advice and have tracked every morsel. It has had an amazing effect on all the unconscious snacking I was doing before hoovering up bits of the kids' dinner, sneaking a mini egg out the fridge when I was putting the milk back etc

So hopefully will be reflected in the scales next week.

But actually what I am really enjoying is feeling less bloated and feeling thinner from all the fruit, veg and salad I am eating. Feeling v virtuous HaloHaloHalo

Really grateful for this group and all your advice FlowersFlowers

Groovee · 08/04/2017 17:35

@HeyToTheHo read up on the fat whoosh. It will explain things.

OwlinaTree · 08/04/2017 18:08

Heytotheho I've had that a few times, find it so hard to stay motivated. I'm having a struggling week this week tbh. I'm sticking with it though.

OwlinaTree · 08/04/2017 18:17

Just read some stuff about a fat whoosh. Interesting stuff!

Groovee · 08/04/2017 19:15

It made a lot of sense regardless my 1.5lbs then big losses.

ChrissyHynde · 08/04/2017 19:29

Coming back

TheShapeofYou · 09/04/2017 10:34

Hello everyone. Hey I've STS after being on plan 100% sometimes, so know how annoying it is. I find as a woman I need to focus on MONTHLY losses tbh. If I've lost something over four weeks, I'm happy.

So despite me thinking I'd be semi-good on holiday (I'm on a 10 day all-inclusive hol in canaries) I'm being predictably rubbish! I'll have muesli and fresh fruit for breakfast, but then follow it with some churros and waffles Blush Eating loads of fish...and burgers...and ice-cream...and and and...! Will be back at RL group in a fortnight and know I'll have put a good 7lbs on (I've only lost a total of 13.5lbs so far, which has taken six months !). Ach, you only live once. Will face consequences later story of my life I'm still in the healthy BMI range, just not fitting my clothes nicely any more.

Have a good week everyone Smile

MrsWembley · 09/04/2017 10:38

I feel less bloated too! It's a lovely feeling Smile

At MiL's for lunch today, a fantastic roast. I am going to try to avoid the potatoes...
