Loving the grumbled eggs, they are called strangled eggs in this house!
Lemony hope the arse won't be there much longer.

I went out last night and I drank far more than I meant to. I've felt dreadful all day and eaten my way through my hangover. Poor ds has the runs really badly. One sentence you definitely not need to here when you are feeling like death warmed up is "mummy there is water coming out of my bottom and it stinks"

Feeling a bit more human now I know why I don't drink very often.

Just saw this on my Facebook group...

Today has definitely been a tumble-off-the-wagon kind of day.

Good weekend, walked miles yesterday and Indian meal was a success. Managed to limit my wine consumption so whilst I was over Syns it wasn't a disaster.

Today I've been totally creamed crackered and just had a cheeseburger and chips from the takeaway. Ugh. Deffo a failure of planning on my part.

I wouldn't be too bothered but we are also away Thursday and Friday this week for Cheltenham which is going to be tough to stay on plan for...I'm planning on doing one day on plan and one day where I'm reasonably off plan.

The only good thing is it means I'll miss wi so will have time to get myself back on track. Might have an eesp day Monday Tuesday Wednesday this week and next to try and limit the damage.

Girlsworld92 · 12/03/2017 19:48

When I'm on plan I stick to 15 syns a day. I'm just being stupid really as if I was consistently on plan for a couple of weeks I'd shift it but I've been stuck in this rut for months now. I know that bingeing isn't healthy either. I'm being daft. Think I might go to a new members talk and just try to get my head back into it x

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 12/03/2017 20:33

DH is now pissed off with me - I took some smoked salmon out to defrost and he has chucked it. Was going to make a quiche for tea. Have had a bit of plain salmon and a crispbread instead. And a big bowl of rhubarb crumble. If the rhubarb gives me the runs does it count as speed?

harverina · 13/03/2017 07:14

After a good day yesterday I ended up going over my syns by eating a packet of crisps that I absolutely did not need 😩

So ended up on 21.5 syns. So none for me today to try and make amends!

Have a good day everyone.

BasinHaircut · 13/03/2017 08:03

Morning all. After a weekend off plan I got on my bathroom scales this morning and they say I haven't gained! To be fair we didn't eat that much, it's just what we did eat wasn't on plan, there was definitely no third speed involved.

Anyway I'm not out of the danger zone yet, got my birthday meal out with DH tonight but then it's back on plan until Friday/Saturday when there are more festivities that I plan to enjoy. I'm not weighing in tonight either so I'm saying no gain based on my own scales, won't actually know what the official verdict is so don't want to get too cocky!

Groovester · 13/03/2017 09:12

Morning,
I'm struggling. Definitely still on plan but have an internal struggle going on as to why I shouldn't just eat everything in the house. Sense prevails. For now.
Started snacking in the evening again which is what I've really fought against. I'm pretty sure I'm within my syns but think I need to start writing them down to be sure.
So in conclusion, yes I'm on plan but with a sideshow of irresponsible snacking. Snacks that I do not need! Confused

OwlinaTree · 13/03/2017 09:30

Hi all, had a mainly on plan weekend but a few slips! Went to the cafe on Saturday and they had run out of jacket spuds so had to have a sandwich. Luckily it was Wholemeal bread. Then wine on Saturday night. A few nibbles but a mainly sw friendly meal (we were entertaining). Sunday was OK but went out for lunch and really fancied something lush not just jacket with Tuna or beans! Wanted a big panini or something like that. Settled on a jacket with Coronation chicken as a sort of middle ground!

Back on track 100% now, will be pleased with a maintain on Tuesday.

ALemonyPea · 13/03/2017 10:54

Morning losers.

I'm also having a hungry day. Could eat the whole kitchen. Doesn't help that DH went to Costco on Saturday and bought massive cherry Bakewell tarts, and there is homemade lemon tart in the fridge. So far I've stayed on plan, although the internal struggle is real. I need to et out the house and might walk to my Mam's, which will be the longest I've walked since the op.

OP posts:
ALemonyPea · 13/03/2017 10:57

Furthest, not longest, that makes no sense. I have to walk past Greggs and a chippy, so will have to wear nose plugs and blinkers.

Morning everyone weigh day for me tomorrow hoping for a loss after last couple of weeks of up and down. Went out for day yesterday and ended up having a small mocha and a waffle cone with rum and raisin ice cream Blushtried to find syns for it but couldn't so I'm thinking 40 or maybe I'm way out?? Was under for week though so hopefully won't do too much damage. Anyone else find days out hard.

Frouby · 13/03/2017 11:11

Lemony I live across thenroad from a Greggs and a chippy. As well as taco brll, kfc, costa, naice thai place, subway, noodle bar and a restaurant! I am pretty blind to them all now.

Drive me past a McDs and I twitch a bit though.

Off plan Friday and Saturday. Dominos pizza Friday, pie, mash and a bit of veg Saturday. And a chocolate souffle which wasn't worth the syns.

Back on it yesterday though with jacket potato, salad and roast chicken for tea. So am not too worried.

Todays plan.

B. Coffee. Too much I think, feel a bit shakey. Apple just now. To try and negate some of the caffeine.
L. Either soup or salad.
T. Hunters chicken, sw chips and salad.
Syns in bbq sauce, coleslaw. HeB will be hifi or museili.

Groovee · 13/03/2017 12:32

Frouby I love Taco Bell! Only get them when I am in Florida though.

Made some vegetable noodle soup as Dd is coming home for lunch as she is seeing the jaw surgeon regarding her surgery.

Ended up having a huge plate of ham and chicken too, baby cucumbers and half my cheese.

I put a top on today. It used to just hide my bum. Now it's just above my knees!

wetwater · 13/03/2017 12:43

Hi all, thanks for the encouragement at the weekend. Faith that book sounds very good, I think I'll give it a go. Have been okay syn wise post Chicken Nugget-gate but deffo not getting enough speed! im sure I'll gain at WI tomorrow but I might do two EESP days before the carnage of St Patrick's day/weekend and be on plan when I can. Well done on all the losses everyone! Smile

ALemonyPea · 13/03/2017 13:07

Yikes Frouby! I'd have to get DH to take my purse to work with him, all those yummy places.

I survived my walk, did buy some strawberries though. Normally I'd go to Asda every day as it's next to dc school and buy my fresh fruit and veg, but I ant drive yet, my friend is raking and picking them up, so having to rely on the local shops, where fruit and veg is expensive, and they don't do any nice mixed bags of salad.

Nice NSV Groovee.

It's a beautiful day here today. 16 degrees in the sun. DH & I have a rare day off at the same time so we've come out to the country side for a walk. We've now stopped in a pub for lunch Blush
I've chosen the beef curry and plain rice as everything else came with chips or was fried.
Any clues to how many I should syn the curry???Confused
All I've had today so far is yogurt and fruit so I'm not too worried.
Good luck for everyone weighing in today!

TheImprobableGirl · 13/03/2017 18:57

Oooh no idea lavender maybe syn it using wetherspoons generic 'curry' syns- but I know they can be high!
I did well tonight- lost 4.5lbs and finally got my half stone award! Really happy with that loss though, and more on track again now. Desperate for take away pizza though!

LavenderRains · 13/03/2017 19:09

improbable that's fantastic! StarI think a loss like that really gives you a boost.

I've put the curry down as 15syns which is what the app says an Indian takeaway is. I've also added 2 for the poppadom Blush but that's it for syns today.
A bowl of raspberries for supper but right now I'm still bloated from the curry!

Groovee · 13/03/2017 19:36

Great news Improbable.

Lavender I have no idea how to syn x

Frouby · 13/03/2017 20:42

Oooh I forgot a NSV over the weekend too.

I bought a pair of jeans when ds was about 6 months old in a sale. Never bloody fit me by a country mile. Size 32 waist so I think a 14? They fit my now tho! And a pair of trendy at the time G Star boyfriend jeans also a size 32 but a 'proper' pair on non stretchy jeans. They fit too but after years of skinny jeans feel really wide.

I also got into a beautiful beachy cover up type thing. It's an oneil size xl, about a 14 again. It fits better than when I bought it about 6 years ago!

4 maxi dresses I bought 2 summers ago don't fit though. They are far too big. Look like a sack of shit lol.

So will be buying dresses for my holiday in August but will hopefully squash into the bikinis and stuff I have stashed somewhere when I find them.

Losingthewill8 · 13/03/2017 21:09

Well done and good luck to all weighing in tomorrow.
I started off sooo good last week, but the weekend brought its challenges!
I normally weigh in tomorrow evening but, because of work, I might need to weigh in, in morning instead. Which would be better for me weight wise, morning or evening? Would I be heavier in the morning first thing, 9am? Or no difference?

LavenderRains · 13/03/2017 21:28

losingthewill you are better off weighing in the morning. You get heavier as the day goes on!
Our consultant runs 5 sessions in one day. She said she has weighed herself at the start of each session and was 2lb heavier by the end of the day!Shock

Losingthewill8 · 13/03/2017 21:48

Wow! I'll definitely weigh in the morning! Mind you it'll show next week when I weigh in the evening again!

ALemonyPea · 13/03/2017 21:55

Nice NSV, love being able to fit into smaller clothes.

I weigh in the morning, I can weigh up to 4lb more in the evening!
