💐Groovee, sounds tough.

My consultant wouldn't be able to do image therapy if she had to weigh everyone first.

I really hate midweek sneaky WI. I weighed myself this morning, and I've lost 3lb. Guarantee you come Tuesday official WI I'll have probably gained.

Alfieisnoisy ! You mentioned a couple of weeks ago we were mirroring each other with our club 10 at same time ! Read your post about slight gain , went away last weekend and had a delicious time ! Went to wi today and l was twice as bad as you ! Gained 2lb ! Enjoyed myself though so no regrets but need it to be gone next Saturday ! Got lots on in April so need to keep the gains reigned in ! X

We had a quiet week at group this week - there were only 50 members through (I did pay so I know!)...I have no clue how one person would be expected to do pay, weigh, shop and give any new member talks in any reasonable amount of time! There's been a "social team" at SW every time I've been going (since 2001...I've been going on and off since syns were spelled SINS and corned beef was free!)

I joined the social team for a couple of reasons: I'm there anyway, I hate queueing, and it means on those occasions when I would be a bit meh and want an extra half hour in bed (I go to a morning group) it means I don't skip group, which is good for the overall weight loss. Also, my consultant is lovely and it's a nice feeling to help.

Made my soup for lunches for work today; about 5 litres of leek and potato (I bloody love leek and potato soup) all in the freezer now. I would've made my eggy muffins for breakfasts for the week but I forgot to buy eggs by which I mean I bought kinder eggs but no hens so I'll grab some tomorrow when I'm out and make it then.

Dinner tonight is burger and chips. (M&S skinny burgers and chips done in the hairdryer). Very looking forward to that. DH is in charge but if he doesn't start cooking soon I'm going to (a) swing for him (b) huff (c) do it myself...

TheImprobableGirl · 01/04/2017 20:28

In the hairdryer Grin

latedecember1963 · 01/04/2017 21:12

Oh Groovee, that sounds grim. Hope the antibiotics do the trick.
Made the Portobello mushroom burger from the veggie deluxe book for lunch and it was pretty good. Quorn & pasta bake for tea.
Having a weekend at our caravan so going to tackle the algae on the decking tomorrow as part of the dreaded body magic.
Have seen references to egg breakfast muffins here but can't find them on the SW website. What should I be looking for?

FaithAgain · 01/04/2017 21:13

Get well soon Groovee! Flowers

Groovee · 01/04/2017 21:56

@latedecember1963 I use

4 eggs
70g quark
Salt and pepper.

I mix it together until very smooth.

Put my filling in a silicon muffin tray. So put ham and spring onion in the tray then pour in the egg and bake on 160 for 20 minutes.

Thanks everyone. Hoping 2 weeks of the holidays helps boost me up x

noodlezoodle · 01/04/2017 22:05

Goodness I'm miles behind on this thread. 1.5lb on this week but as I've been wildly off plan AND I'm pre-menstrual, I can't complain. I've still been doing lots of gym and yoga so perhaps that's helped a bit.

I don't know if I can manage a 100% on plan April but I'll give it a damn good go!

ALemonyPea · 02/04/2017 08:34

How did everyone manage with their first 100% day?

I had:
B: scrambled eggs, 0.5 syn for a tiny bit of milk, bacon, mushrooms Tina toes
D: Apple, hifi bar HEB, pufts 3.5 syns
T: lasagne HEA cheese, salad, 1.5 syns salad cream.

5.5 syns used and 100% on plan

OP posts:
ALemonyPea · 02/04/2017 08:34

Tina toes? Tomatoes.

Shamoffour · 02/04/2017 08:47

My first day was ok I used all my syns on wine and a bit of chocolate though. I needed it after a day with the kids, I don't what had happened yesterday but they were feral!
We are off to the farm today and out for Sunday lunch. Weather is beautiful here so should be a nice day.
Have a good Sunday everyoneSmile

Groovee · 02/04/2017 09:10

I had scrambled eggs with spinach, turkey rashers and tomatoes for breakfast.

BLT wholemeal roll with 1 syn for butter.

Nacho Style Feast for tea with salad.

Used syns on popcorn and crisps.

Plan for today is a fry up then soup for lunch. SW burgers for tea.

OwlinaTree · 02/04/2017 09:24

Yesterday
B omelette with ham, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, bowl of raisin wheats.
L ham and chicken salad, bit of Coleslaw
D sw chickpea, spinach and egg curry, rice, berries, yoghurt
S fruit and a freddo

Today
B egg, bacon, tomato, mushrooms, raisin wheats.

BasinHaircut · 02/04/2017 10:24

I went over syns yesterday by about 5, but will pull it back today and only have 10.

We went out and DS had an ice cream which was melting really quickly and I kept having to lick it for him because he was kicking off about it. I counted 2 syns for that. Then 1 for the full fat milk in a tea that someone made me and a teeny biscuit (2) because they looked delicious.

Today I've had breakfast weetabix and milk (HEXA&B) and a coffee with sweetener.

Just having strawberries with ft Greek yoghurt and a tea.

Lunch will be omelette or SW and salad, do need cottage pie filling with lots of veg and a few spuds.

BasinHaircut · 02/04/2017 11:53

I really need to proof read my posts! That should be SW quiche, and dinner will be cottage pie .....

latedecember1963 · 02/04/2017 16:49

Thank you for the muffin recipe Groovee. In rural north Wales so quark is a bit too exotic for the local shop but have some at home so will give them a go tomorrow when I head home. Gorgeous weather today so have scrubbed down all the decking and the outside of the caravan and sprayed with Algon to keep the algae at bay until next year. Nearly 3 hours of body magic. I'll be like corrugated cardboard tomorrow! It's made me realise what a difference the 9lbs lost so far has made already. 7 weeks ago I wouldn't have been able to do that without lots of rests. Hope everyone is having a good day.

ALemonyPea · 02/04/2017 18:51

Late, you can use cottage cheese instead of quark if you can't find it, but quark is nicer.

Anyone else having a young loser party this coming week? We haven't even got a young person at our group, yet we are expected to still have a party, very annoying.

OP posts:
Groovee · 02/04/2017 19:07

We're having one and the only young one rarely turns up and when he does, he's gained.

I've had candy Floss ice cream Blush it was good!

alibongo5 · 02/04/2017 19:46

What's a Young Loser Party? Well, I can guess what it is but what happens exactly and why have it if you haven't got any young ones? SW does puzzle me sometimes.

latedecember1963 · 02/04/2017 19:46

Thank you for the tip Lemony. I've got both at home so I might do 2 kinds and see which I prefer. Ds's will see this as evidence that I need to get out more but I don't care!

BasinHaircut · 02/04/2017 20:00

Evening all. No party tomorrow as far as I am aware. We have a young lad bit nothing was mentioned last week or on the FB group.

Today has been the good. I've had 6 syns so got 4 left for a treat if I'm going to stay at 10 to make up for yesterday.

Hoping for a maintain tomorrow I think as most of the week has been bad.

TheImprobableGirl · 02/04/2017 20:34

I'm going to try and stay in 10 syns for April until the 21st.... hope I don't put on too much in that week and then really want to lose about 1.5 stone before 30th June... hoping its doable

emwithme · 02/04/2017 20:45

Our youngest (regular staying) person is 24, I think (they have to be 16 - 21 to be "in the competition") but we're having a taster. As a morning group, it will be half a dozen different varieties of eggy muffin/crustless quiche, a couple of scan bran cakes, some fish sticks and meatballs. And grapes.

I use cottage cheese in my eggy muffins (4 eggs to 150 g cottage cheese) because I have "phases" of quark. I'm really not sure about it and then I eat loads and go off it, and then when I haven't had it for ages do the same again. I'm currently in an "off" phase Grin. Now, if only the same could be said for chocolate.

I am feeling slightly less angry today, which is good. Had a lovely chat with DH earlier and (I think) finally made him realise that while my anger has been coming out in his direction, it's not because I'm angry AT him; he's just there and close and safe and therefore he's borne the brunt. We're both not working on Friday and have booked a nice lunch out at my favourite restaurant that overlooks the beach. Hopefully we can start moving forward soon.

Been on plan food-wise today too...and now about to go for a long soak in the bath so I can't ruin it!

ALemonyPea · 02/04/2017 21:16

Another day, another 100%. Used 8.5 syns. I. Also trying to stay within 10 syns, have managed it since WI, only one more day to go, but I've not missed those extra 5 syns.

I've stuck to 3 meals a day, no snacking at all, and so syns used in meals.

OP posts:
FaithAgain · 02/04/2017 21:26

I have eaten alllll the syns today. Blush Not so good.
