Well done losers! I agree that you need to be easy on yourself lemony, you are still recovering.

Groovee · 21/03/2017 16:28

Well done to those who have lost.

Hopefully the gainers will loose next week.

Lemony, you are still recovering. You've come so far, go easy on yourself. Maybe try extra easy again.

Heading off to class shortly. Only getting weighed as my fibro pain is bad and I want an early.

BasinHaircut · 21/03/2017 16:57

lemony Flowers

sham - where's that stick...... Grin

Congrats all losers today.

Yes clash I was well chuffed. Good luck for weigh in!

Well, today I was at a conference so fully prepared for dry curly sandwiches and unripe fruit. But what I actually got was a hot meal! Chick pea and spinach curry, boiled rice and carrots and green beans! No idea on syns but there was definitely coconut milk involved. But will certainly be better than the sarnies would have.

Shamoffour · 21/03/2017 17:01

Basin I bloomin need it!
I actually feel sick so I'm thinking I will just have something light and hopefully the calories might balance out
It weigh in tomorrow morning so we shall see what the scales of doom say!

LavenderRains · 21/03/2017 17:18

lemony that sucks. A lady at my group did sp for a week and put on 1lb. The leader was at a loss to answer why. She helpfully said "sometimes our bodies do funny things" Hmm I would be pissed off if I was you but like other posters said, you are in recovery from big surgery, don't be too hard on yourself. Look how far you've come! Wine

Groovee · 21/03/2017 18:14

Lost 2.5lb this week... got my 1&1/2 stone award, hit my first target, went down a stone bracket. Delighted! Shame someone crashed into my car on the way home x

Emmageddon · 21/03/2017 18:30

@Groovee are you okay? I hope your car isn't too badly damaged. Congrats on your 1&1/2 stone award, I got mine today too.

I'm working tonight, so it's overnight oats now, before I go to work, and instant noodles, cherry tomatoes, sliced ham, an apple, a pear and a satsuma, a HiFi bar and a boiled egg - it's a long shift and I find eating little and often keeps me going. That and my travel mug of fruit tea, to keep hydrated.

I'm getting the 'don't lose too much weight' comments now, as a potential slim figure is emerging from as my lardy overcoat comes off - another 2 stone to go. I WILL be in size 12 jeans by June.

Groovee · 21/03/2017 18:58

@Emmageddon I'm ok. It just took the shine off my happiness. Think I will bake the oaty biscuits again as a wee treat.

maygirl · 21/03/2017 19:02

Hello, I used to post on this thread last year, looking forwards to catching up with how everyone's been doing and hope I can get back into it properly :)
I lose the plot every now and then as I'm such a slow loser! I need tips on how to keep going!
B heb oats with carrot. HeA milk. Honey 1 syn
L hard boiled egg, tomatoes, fruit salad and syn free yogurt.
D sw recipe spicy chicken+ veg. 2 syns.
Cracker 1 syn .

Tomorrow's packed lunch prepped and dinner ready to chuck into slow cooker in morning. Back on it!

OwlinaTree · 21/03/2017 19:28

Lost 2.5 lb! Very pleased as I gained 1lb last week so I feel very much back on track with that.

Well done other losers, Flowers groovee, what a mare.

whereareyousleep · 21/03/2017 19:31

Well done to all the losers. Bloody hell groovee what a pain it's always such a hassle to sort car stuff out too.

4.5lb off for me!!! Couldn't believe it although I did have a really good week last week and only lost 1.5lb and it normally takes a while to show up for me. So 20lb total now and down another stone bracket so very happy.

ALemonyPea · 21/03/2017 19:48

Thanks everyone, I'll get over it. Totally overdid it food wise today. Had dominos pizza for tea, it was bloody delicious. Tomorrow is a new day.

Hope you're ok Groovee. Well done on your award.

Think I'll cut back on the fruit, more veg is the way to go.

Lost another 0.5lb this week.... I'm disappointed it's such a small loss but I did have a good weekend 🙈 made the best choices I could whilst still having things I enjoy when eating out so at least I lost.
Have a heavy weekend again this weekend so I am trying to be extra good during the week.

Total loss is 24lbs in 6 weeks so not bad bUt considering I have many many stones to lose I just hope I can stick to it and not fail like I do everytime once I lose around 3 stone.

Groovee · 21/03/2017 20:27

Some good losses.

I'm fine and my car is fine. I had my hand on the horn for ages while he drove into me!

Tweetypie30 · 21/03/2017 20:50

Today has been a hungry, hungry day for me. Just had a big plate of chilli pasta and I finally feel full. What do you all eat when you feel really hungry but don't want to go off plan. You know the days when snacking on fruit just doesn't cut it!
B: Eggs on toast
L: Couscous and salad
D: Chilli pasta
S: Apple, Satsuma's x2, mullerlight

Tweetypie30 · 21/03/2017 20:52

Wow, well done loveslipstick, keep it up.

muminthecity · 21/03/2017 21:03

I lost 2.5lb! Really pleased with that, takes my total to 1st 10lbs. Hoping for my 2 stone award by Easter. Treated myself to a sausage baguette for dinner to celebrate, I really enjoyed it! 10.5 syns for the bread, 2 syns for the sausages and 2 for the relish. Worth every syn!

Groovester · 21/03/2017 21:07

Some amazing losses on here. Whereareyousleep that is brilliant. You must be feeling on top of the world. Well done everyone, especially those of you with shiny stickers.

Flowers Lemony. Very frustrating for you. Jealous of your pizza though!
Flowers Groovee. Glad you're feeling ok.

giveovermypreciousss · 21/03/2017 21:27

First day today and I am starving! I have no food in that I can eat and the dc are asleep. I just don't feel full on salad.
B- poached and on toast. (Syns used here as it was before group and I didn't realise I had the wrong bread and just how awful flora buttery is)
L- salad with bacon
D-chicken tacos, beans, salad and jacket potato.
S- 2 hifi bars and 2 teas.
I should be full up on all of that!

par05 · 21/03/2017 21:31

Any one know how many syns in sweet pototoe and potatoe shapes aunt Bessie's make? With 3 quorn sausages ? Think sausages are half a syn each?

northernylass · 22/03/2017 06:18

Hello folks

May I join you? First day of SW today. Went to group last night.

I have three stone to lose.

Looks like there have been some amazing losses here so I'm hopeful I will follow in your footsteps.

Groovee · 22/03/2017 06:30

Welcome Northern.

LavenderRains · 22/03/2017 07:35

Well done losers. Some good losses on here this weekStarSmile
My turn this morning. I've lost 4 stone exactly and still haven't set a target. I want a nice round figure so was thinking if I lose another 9.5lb that will take me to 14 stone exactly. but 13 stone would be idealGrin oooh I don't know. .........
Had loads of fruit yesterday, made a big fruit salad, blimey I stink todayBlush

OwlinaTree · 22/03/2017 07:44

This is from the new cook book, p69, chickpea curry with spinach and eggs. Was really yummy!

giveover welcome!

Salad is not my thing either. What I've found is planning meals right down to the speed I'm going to have with them is the way to go, and avoid salad where possible. FYI broccoli really goes well with spag Bol, which sounds weird but try it, it's delicious!

Lunches are hard and salad is a go to for that, but also cooking a bit extra dinner and saving for lunch gets round that too.

I Save salad for 'can't be arsed' days.

owlina that looks delicious! What is the name of that cook book?
