Oh and beans!

OwlinaTree · 14/02/2017 18:47

groovee you must have bought my cherry yogurts! Curses!

Groovee · 14/02/2017 18:53

Sorry 🦉ina 😳

Just did the update on the SW site and finally I have my BMI below 40! The consultant said it had to be below 40 to have treatment! Hope to get it lower before the May appointment. I'm so happy x

ClashCityRocker · 14/02/2017 19:05

Good stuff groovee

lemony don't blame you, when is your op?

waitrose I remember first checking Syns out and panicking because my beloved dr oetker pizzas were approximately half a million (well, about 30 odd I think...) despite them being one of the healthier pizza options. I thought bloody hell, they're only 800 calories which is good for a pizza. But as you say, theres a million and one things you can eat, and I personally will still have the very occasional dr oetker pizza - just as an occasional treat rather than a teatime staple!

muminthecity · 14/02/2017 19:10

I lost 3.5! And got my 1.5 stone award! I'm delighted, wasn't expecting it at all as i started my period yesterday and feel all fat and bloated.

OwlinaTree · 14/02/2017 19:10

Well done groovee! Sorry lemony. As you say you've come so far but it's still hard to take a gain when you've been on plan. I'm really hoping for a loss tonight I've honestly been on plan every day, so if I've gained or ss I think I'll cry. Also I'll have to get the leader to look at my food diaries, maybe I'm going wrong somewhere. I'm going to take food diary with me tonight just in case.

Just doing baby's last feed then I'm off.

OwlinaTree · 14/02/2017 19:11

Well done mum!

ALemonyPea · 14/02/2017 19:26

Nice one Groovee

Well done on the award Mum.

Fingers crossed owlina
lemony that is really brutal- take the positives of the weight you have lost and be kind to yourself. Plus a womb should definitely weigh something it could be stress weight too- another delightful thing our bodies donate to us!
Well done to all other losers (and gainers!)
binary I get irrationally angry when I would've normally got slimmer of the week but had a small gain the week before- although someone at group put 2.5lbs on and won SotW due to our consultant doing it through the raffle as the top 3 paid and weighed and paid. I was SO annoyed because I lost 3lbs and was the highest loser in group but NO AngryGrin

mayathebee · 14/02/2017 19:35

I've lost 1.5lb which is a relief. I have 3lb to go to get my stone award and I'm away next week so I'm hoping to get the 3lb off over the next fortnight.

mayathebee · 14/02/2017 19:36

Sorry to ignore other posters. I'm posting sneakily in group (it's very boring) but I'll read through the thread when I get home.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 14/02/2017 20:00

1lb off for me Grin quite chuffed with that Grin

Groovee · 14/02/2017 20:09

Well done on the losses x

ButterChicken · 14/02/2017 20:18

Joined my local group today.... Have just under a stone to lose to get to club 10. Target weight of two stone

Need to do meal plans etc and obviously a shopping trip to get lots of free food but marking place at the moment mainly Smile

BasinHaircut · 14/02/2017 20:24

Well done today's losers.

lemony think you are doing the right thing. Have a break but don't go crazy and get through your operation and recovery without the added stress.

Today has been good, was so busy at work I've not had a chance to think about food.
B - weetabix and milk (HEXA&B), pear
L - chicken and veg fajita filling (maybe a couple of syns) and rice. Apple.
D - smoked salmon and pesto pasta with quark to cream it up, peppers and green beans (3 syns for pesto)

So I've only had a max 5 syns today so can have a treat if I need one, might have 5 syns of dark chocolate and end on 10 syns.

harderandharder2breathe · 14/02/2017 21:57

Well done losers!

B pear
L scrambled eggs without milk and HEXB wholemeal toast
D picky things so ham, HEXA babybel light, peanut butter for a few syns, rocky chocolate biscuit, pear

I went swimming as well, so walked there and back, so hoping to maintain or maybe even sneak a small loss when I weigh tomorrow (after my naughty but delicious and worth it wetherspoons curry last Thursday)

OneOfTheGrundys · 14/02/2017 22:39

Go losers!
I hope I join you tomorrow at weigh in #1.

OwlinaTree · 14/02/2017 22:57

Well done dave and maya. I was delighted to lose 2lb and get my 2 stone award. After 2 slow weeks that was great!

00100001 · 15/02/2017 06:51

Did any of you have a reward promised to yourselves for when you got to things like Club 10 or Target?

My Club 10 is going to be a new bike. I really want one as mine is old and squeaky!

LavenderRains · 15/02/2017 07:06

001 I just promised myself new clothes for the summer so I don't look like a beached whale on holiday!Smile
A new bike is a good one tho, I've not owned a bike for 10 years!

FaithAgain · 15/02/2017 07:12

I've bought new clothes as I've gone along. Told myself I'll buy a new charm for my bracelet when I get my 2 stone award (hoping tonight!!).

OneOfTheGrundys · 15/02/2017 07:19

Mines a tattoo and another greyhound. The DCs want the dog but not the tatt and DH wants the tatt not the dog.

Attempting weigh in with 2 DS plus their friend will be fun today!

LavenderRains · 15/02/2017 07:21

Ooh Faith good luck tonight! I think it's important to treat ourselves, we are doing great things losing all this weight!!
My Wi this morning, I still get strangely nervous/excited before I go, even after 4 months. Is that weird?Grin

PositiveAttitude · 15/02/2017 07:35

Just doing a major catch-up on here.

Congratulation Em

Lavender since I started SW I have noticed that when I am stressed I have not lost weight, but have had disappointing weeks every stressful week! Could it be that you are stressed about the op and your body reacting to it?

Just a 1lb loss for me last night. Its in the right direction, but I am frustrated that the weight loss has slowed down so much. There was a discussion in group last night when an older lady shared her frustration at the slowness, too. Perhaps it is my age, or the fact I have been doing it for 8 months now, I am still a long way from a good weight, but my body has been so big for so long that maybe it doesn't recognise how much I should be losing. I will keep going because 1lb is still going down but will just take me ages to get where I want to be.

Did anyone see the programme on channel 4 last night about the super slimmers always putting their weight back on? I was getting so cross with it because it was all about the totally unsustainable weight loss programmes such as the Biggest loser tv show and lighterlife. Well its obvious that they cant be for life so its not surprising that the weight goes back on. There was 1 lady who had lost 8 stone with Rosemary Conley and had gained 3 stone back over a number of years and was getting back on it to lose again and that is far more sustainable, surely. It was a bit depressingly put by channel 4 though as if they were saying its no point in losing weight because once you are big you will always return to be bigger.

OwlinaTree · 15/02/2017 07:36

Good luck, Faith and lavender.
