Brilliant groovester Star me and you are neck and neck. Feels good doesn't it?! I was told today at work to order a new uniform as mine is hanging off me! I think other people notice more than I do now!

Groovee · 02/03/2017 23:31

Aww sorry Clash. My friend is back training and gains when training.

Well done Groovester. That's a fab loss x

ALemonyPea · 03/03/2017 08:22

Ah Clash, it's horrible when you have a gain and don't know why. Been there twice myself.

Well done on the loss Groovster.

DH is getting right on my nerves. He's been off all week, meant to be doing everything in the house so I can rest, but he's not doing anything I want. Twat.

Well done groovester, that must feel amazing. clash I reckon thats a sympathy gain because you were eyeing up my takeaway Grin

Keep going and you might see a decent loss next week.

Half a pound of my 2lb takeaway gain off this morning. Official weigh in isn't till Monday so hoping it's all gone by then, plus hopefully a bit more, even half a pound will do

OrianaBanana · 03/03/2017 14:36

Half a pound off for me this week. Keeping on keeping on.

Overnight - alpen light (HExB1), squash
B - super fruit porridge (HExB2, some of HExA1), coffee
L - smoked mackerel pate (1) with scan bran (other half HExB1), tomatoes, pepper, carrots, babybels (HExA2), clementine, tea
D - speedy sausage casserole (5 for the sausages), mash, and whatever speed I can find in the fridge, prob broccoli
S - tea, banana, light Philly (HExA3), sweet chilli sauce (1.5), carrots, grapes, hifi light (3).

Think that's 10.5 syns

Groovee · 03/03/2017 14:44

Had a late lunch and feeling icky.

Am making Nacho Style fest so it better do one so I can enjoy.

Am taking my brownies away. Having Nando's for tea. Would normally have a beanie burger. But looking at having chicken. Taking my own snacks and will have breakfast as it's a roll and bacon. Will have plenty water too. We're only away 14 hours haha

Groovester · 03/03/2017 18:24

Thank everyone. I've passed the 50lbs mark which does feel brilliant. Still got at least that to go again though!

Emmageddon · 03/03/2017 19:23

@Groovester well done!!
Are well-meaning people telling you not to lose too much weight yet?

I am working tonight, so have packed the usual apples, pears, satsumas and instant noodles to keep me going for 12.5 hours. I have had a fairly restrained day, overnight oats this morning, and lunch was leftover quorn bolognaise with added mushrooms and tomatoes all together now FOR SPEED Grin plus some fat free Greek Yoghurt with frozen cherries defrosted and stirred into it - yum.

See you all tomorrow. Keep on keeping on, as onwards and downwards we go.

Groovee · 03/03/2017 19:48

That's amazing Groovester. I've lost about half that.

Emma, hope work is ok x

harderandharder2breathe · 03/03/2017 20:05

Back on track after two days of good intentions and bad reality

B 2 alpen light HEXB
L quorn bolognase with parmasan HEXA
D butternut squash chips and heck paprika chicken sausages (1 syn), mullerlight
S heck paprika chicken sausages (1/2 syn), boiled egg, mullerlight, propercorn (6 1/2 syns)

harderandharder2breathe · 03/03/2017 20:08

groovee have fun with the brownies! I'm not sure how I'm going to cope on pack holiday, I have zero will power! Then in the summer I have a week at camp where I have staff catering (because I travel by train so very limited on what I can carry, I'm not used to camp cooking, and can't get off site to buy fresh food) so fried breakfasts, chips for lunch and stodgy school dinner style dinner and pudding

loveslipstick · 03/03/2017 20:30

"One tbsp of mayo can't be that bad"

😱😱😱😱

5.5 syns!!!

Only had half a tbsp.....

Tuna mayo needs real full fat mayo.... nothing else is good enough!

I can live without it in any other meal!

muminthecity · 03/03/2017 20:35

Well done to all the losers.

A good day for me today:

B - mango and pineapple
L - leftover pasta bake with goats cheese (HEA)
D - Lamb, mint and rosemary steak, baby new potatoes, roasted onions, tomatoes, courgettes and peppers and a giant flat mushroom
S - none yet but am planning to have some hula hoop pufts (3.5) and 2 mint hifis (HEB) as a late night snack

muminthecity · 03/03/2017 20:37

Loveslipstick - I am something of a mayonnaise connoisseur, and have tried every low fat brand available. Best by far imo is Tesco healthy living mayo. Not as good as the real thing of course but miles better than Heinz extra light and only 0.5 syns per tablespoon.

FillySucker · 03/03/2017 20:39

Just about to join a class next week after being offered a free 12 week membership by my doctor. Do you get information in book form when you join or do you have to buy any books required separately?

FaithAgain · 03/03/2017 21:21

You get books in a pack when you join Filly. You can buy extras like recipe books and more information on eating out. You also get access to the website which has menus and you can search for most foods.

loveslipstick · 03/03/2017 21:26

Thanks muminthecity
I will give it a try

latedecember1963 · 03/03/2017 21:30

First day of the caravan season for us. We're all set up and although the rain is hammering down it's lovely to be back in our escape pod. Didn't have a cake in Starbucks on the journey here. Had hibiscus tea instead. Evening meal salmon fillet, mashed potato & sautéd courgettes. Don't drink much alcohol but had got a bottle of First Cape Light Italian Pinot Grigio to toast the 2017 season. Didn't taste of much and when I checked it's 5.5 syns for 250ml so I'll not get it again. As a pp said, good intentions but bad reality! Have a good weekend, everyone.

Lulooo · 03/03/2017 21:58

I'm sick of this shit. I've got an upset stomach and a headache and it's Friday night. I left the kitchen mid-clean and have plonked onto the sofa and all I want to so is get into bed with a big fat bar of chocolate and a tub of ice-cream to wash it down. Fuck syns.

BasinHaircut · 03/03/2017 22:01

I've lost my SW mojo.

I've become really complacent this week. There were pancakes and a takeaway but apart from that meals have been on plan but I've just lost the art of tracking syns. No real idea how many I've had each day but probably more like 20 than 15 for a couple of days. But like I say no real idea......

This is not good. I've got 2 tricky weekends coming up (not this one but the next 2) so am looking at maintains for those maybe small (and hopefully temporary) gains, so should be trying extra hard at the moment I guess.

Groovee · 03/03/2017 22:14

Welcome Faith.

Oh Harder, I last did pack holiday on MFP and actually stayed the same then had a bigger loss the following week. But I was catering.

I have fruit pots and think I will take a couple of hifi bars too. Doing Nando's before had. Think I will have butterfly chicken with rice and salad. I didn't like the hot chocolate last time though lol. So plenty water with me.

Groovester · 03/03/2017 22:32

Thanks again. Emma yes! When I say I have at least the same to lose again people think I'm exaggerating and that I must be nearly finished. I've gone from a size 22 to a 16. I think the gym has changed my shape dramatically - sure I'm losing more inches than pounds at present. I carry my weight pretty well. I'm still obese though according to my bmi so I will soldier on and see how I get on. I'm seeing this very much as a lifestyle change rather than a diet with a fixed term although when I started I promised myself I'd see it through for a full 12 months. I'm a third of a way through that term.
Basin I have been the same recently. Guesstimating cheese for hex a and only half tracking syns. Sometimes it's good to go back to basics and maybe write everything down?
Feel better soon Luloo
Enjoy the caravan late
Enjoy the overnighter with the Brownies Groovee

LavenderRains · 04/03/2017 00:01

groovester I think u and me are twinsGrin I was 22, now 16. Still classed as obese but the thinnist I've been for years! I still get a surprise when I look in the mirror as I think I'm still a 22.
here's to us!Wine

BasinHaircut · 04/03/2017 07:04

groovester I'm going to strange writing stuff down again too. Starting this morning. If I don't sort my act out it's going to be a gain on Monday.

So....
Breakfast: weetabix (HEXB), semi skimmed milk (HEXA), although I realise now I didn't measure it out Blush, tea

Plans for lunch are homemade chicken and veg soup, and dinner will be smoked salmon and pesto pasta with veg - probably green beans and peppers.

Am going to work out syns properly in a bit and stay away from snacks until weigh in on Monday.

gooseygander88 · 04/03/2017 08:28

WI this morning and I'm sooo happy! Finally I've got a big loss (for me) lost 3.5lbs! Which means I got my 1/2stone award! Total loss - 7.5lbs in 4 weeks! 😁😁😁 even with a cheeky kebab in the week proves you can still have 'treats' and losses 😁😁😁😁
