Well done Waitrose.

Welcome Playmobil, I know a lot of people go to class and join to get the books then never go back.

You have free food such as fruit/veg/meat/quorn/beans/fish/eggs. Then you have a calcium healthy Extra of cheese or milk and a fibre one which can be bread, cracker bread, tinned soups, cereal and I think nuts. And you have syns which can be used as treats or if you run out of milk or whatever.

Slimming world and Pinch of Nom do menu planners which may be worth a look at. X

PlaymobilPirate · 20/02/2017 11:59

Thanks Groovee - I'm skiving on my break at work and screen shotting as much as I can :)

ALemonyPea · 20/02/2017 12:45

Welcome Playmobil. You can order the books on EBay, but I'd recommend you try go to one class, get the beginners talk so you know what's what and then try do it at home.

A few good websites for recipes are two chubby Cubs and pinch of nom.

Good luck.

The quiche DH made was very nice, up to my standards anyway, since I wrote a dummy's guide to making it, it have been surprised not so much if he failed.

Play you get the pack at group that explains all x

PlaymobilPirate · 20/02/2017 14:03

Thanks - not wanting to go to groups because of the weight of my leg ^^ (and I'm time poor!)

I'm reading lots about green tea - has anyone got any recommendations please?

Groovester · 20/02/2017 14:05

Afternoon All,

Still clawing it back over here. Worked my butt of in the gym this morning. Great workout where I didn't feel like I was about to puke or fall over any second. This fitness lark is still a new discipline for me!
B - cuppa
L - chicken salad
D - baked tattie with tuna and salad
Hex a - baby led
Hex b - hifis

Birthday tomorrow so another meal out etc. Then strict, strict, strict Wed and Thursday before weighing in later on in the evening. Should get the gym on wed and thu morning too.

Playmobil I second (third?) the idea of going to the groups FOR ONE MEETING (the first one). Get the books, have the new member talk, then don't go back and do it on here with the support of these guys.

I am feeling rather fat and squishy today. I just need to be half a pound lighter on Thursday...that is all.

Today's food:

B: Eggy muffins
L: Leek & potato soup, roast beef (chopped up leftovers!), apple, pear, satsumas
D: Cajun chicken, rice, salad
HEA: Milk in tea
HEB: Hifi bars

I'm a bit queasy today but nothing like I was on Thursday/Friday last week. Must not read far too much into that and worry myself unnecessarily.

ClashCityRocker · 20/02/2017 15:35

Sunday was on plan.

Killer migraine today, only just begun to feel human. The thought of eating anything is beyond me - it's not the eating, it's the chewing and swallowing I can't bear.

Normally in these circumstances I'd send dh out for a maccy d milkshake but am sipping green tea at the moment.

Well done losers - basin I'm also hoping for my stone this week. Wi Thursday.

Groovee · 20/02/2017 15:42

Feel better soon Clash x

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2017 17:01

Today's plan

Overnight - Alpen light (half of HExB1), squash
B - mullerlight, coffee with milk (HExA1), grapes
L - noodle cup (1.5), Philly light (HExA2), sweet chilli sauce (1.5), carrots
D - Cuban spicy mince recipe from the Free and Easy book with rice, broccoli, lime
S - quavers (4.5), biscoff (3), hifi light x 3 (other half HExB1, HExB2), apple, satsumas, tea, latte (HExA3), tube of Fizzers (1.5)

Think that puts me on 12 syns for today. Hungry day!!

WaitrosePigeon · 20/02/2017 17:08

Or you can buy the pack on eBay. Make sure it's the 2027 one x

WaitrosePigeon · 20/02/2017 17:08

Erm I meant 2017... not quite 2027 yet Grin

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 20/02/2017 17:22

Just catching up and got as far as Em's announcement so had to add my congrats! Lovely lovely news!

harderandharder2breathe · 20/02/2017 17:39

Ugh today was insanely busy at work so I've had far too much junk in my breaks. I'm really cross with myself because when I did my not allowed unofficial weigh this morning I was actually on track for a loss

Groovee · 20/02/2017 17:45

Need inspiration... Was meant to make chicken goujons with HEB breadcrumbs on Wednesday. But I can't be bothered. Can anyone recommend something else? We're having Cajun chicken pasta tomorrow and surf and turf on Thursday.

Groovee · 20/02/2017 17:56

Harder, draw a line under it and don't let it get your own x

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2017 18:44

Lost 1.5lbs so got my stone award tonight!

Well chuffed. Got slimmer of the week too Grin

We had a taster session tonight and hardly anyone turned up. Most people made chocolate mousse or SW quiche/egg muffins but someone brought tuna and sweet potato parties which were lovely and I don't even like tuna!

Emmageddon · 20/02/2017 18:46

AIBU to LTB? Angry

My bloody DH has just fried up the last 4 Heck Italia sausages and made himself a massive white bread and butter and brown sauce butty. Now we have a fridge full of non-SW friendly food including his favourite Cumberland sausages. How very dare he? It's weigh in tomorrow and I am resentfully eating some courgette noodles with peppers, mushrooms and ham, whilst giving him evil looks. He is oblivious, and he has brown sauce on his chin. Grin Just because he has the same 32" waist he had at the age of 26, and can eat and drink whatever he damn well likes!!

@harderandharder2breathe one day off plan isn't going to cause too much damage, don't beat yourself up about it. Just get stuck into loads of speed foods tomorrow.

ChessieFL · 20/02/2017 18:47

Well done BasinSmile

Lulooo · 20/02/2017 18:48

May be a bit late Groovee but when I can't be asked, I make a quick pulau. Braise some celery and onion in spray oil then add a couple of chopped tomatoes, some garlic, ginger and spices (I add cumin, coriander powder, chilli and tumeric) and the chicken and whatever veg you have lying round- mangetout, green beans, butternut squash, cauliflower, carrot, broccoli etc. After 5 mins, add rice. I use a ratio of 1 part rice to 3 parts veg/chicken. Cover and cook for 15 mins on low heat.

The whole thing takes me about 30 mins and it's all in one pot so convenient.

Groovee · 20/02/2017 18:48

Well done Basin. 🎉🎉

Emma yes! That is a LTB situation! Send him out for more!

Emmageddon · 20/02/2017 18:49

@BasinHaircut well done!!! Flowers

I got Slimmer of the Week a few weeks ago. I got a massive hamper of fruit, which included a mango, a pineapple and some cherries - yummy. I usually take a couple of apples as my contribution, I think I should up my game for tomorrow.

Groovee · 20/02/2017 18:49

Luv thanks for that! May do something along that line xx

Lulooo · 20/02/2017 18:55

Forgot to add pic.

In WI news, I lost 1lb today. Would have liked more but pleased with that much. That makes 1.5lbs in the past 2 weeks which is quite slow.

I've said this before but I'm going to really make an effort to work out this week. I'm going to aim for a 2lb loss. I don't really get time until the evening and by that time I'm pretty shattered but really need to get my mojo back.
