Emmageddon LTB. Without hesitation. Send him out for more with the brown sauce on his chin.

Basin and Love well done, to you both on your first stone. And to me too Grin

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2017 19:15

Cheers! Can't wait for dinner now, I'm starving.

Fruit basket was a banana, a packet of strawberries, an apple and 6 lemons. Not too bad, none of it is on the turn!

3.5lbs until 11 stone now so that's my next mini target.

ALemonyPea · 20/02/2017 19:42

Well done losers.

Em, you need to LTB, after he goes and gets you some more sausages.

Not been on plan completely today. My sister brought me a slice of cake and forced me to eat it. As I am sofa bound I couldn't run away and had to eat it. It was so hard Wink but I managed. Otherwise food was on plan.

Tomorrow will be a better day, and I'm not at group for 2 weeks anyway, so plenty of time. Focusing more on recovery this week.

Emma hell yes! I would have to stab him with a fork. When ever I make something nice and slimming world friendly one of the kids always asks if they can have a bit. No you fucking can't.
I don't actually say this but it's screaming in my head

Well done all the losers.

I've been picky today two kids are now ill. I'm knackered and couldn't really be bothered to cook. I'm within syns but I'm heading into the danger zone. I need to be more organised tomorrow.

latedecember1963 · 20/02/2017 21:23

Hope I'm not too late to join in. Booked a holiday today and we go in 21 weeks. Me, DH & my MIL. Had a sudden nightmare vision of my fit as a flea, 84 year old MIL being sprightlier than me on hols so decided action was needed. Have tracked down a SW group that weighs on Mondays and before I could change my mind went along & joined. Felt a bit traumatised when I saw my weight but I suppose I've been burying my head in the sand for too long. Haven't said anything to anyone at home, thought I'd see how I get on this first week.

FaithAgain · 20/02/2017 22:09

Hello late, welcome! People join this thread all the time Smile 21 weeks is lots of time to make a huge difference to yourself. I've been going 16 weeks and lost 2 stone! Once you're up to speed it's worth looking at doing body magic too to get you moving ahead of your holiday and boosting your weight loss.

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2017 22:28

late welcome! We can help you here. Does it all make sense?

OwlinaTree · 20/02/2017 22:49

Well done losers, awards too!

Welcome late, I've lost 2 stone in 21 weeks, which has made a big difference to me.

muminthecity · 20/02/2017 23:18

Well done losers.

Lemony - cake is essential for recovery. It's a well known medical fact. And if you're only using it for medicinal purposes then it doesn't actually have any syns Wink

A good day for me today. WI tomorrow, I deserve a gain but would be delighted with a maintain and overjoyed with a small loss.

B - satsuma and a plum
L - jacket potato with cheese (HEA) and beans
D - lamb grillsteak with rice, tonnes of veg and tomato relish (2)
S - pufts (3.5) and 2 hifis (HEB)

Groovee · 21/02/2017 06:47

Welcome Last.

My fibro has flared up. In so much pain. Got work this afternoon so will rest until then.

00100001 · 21/02/2017 06:48

-4.5lb whooop whoop

TheImprobableGirl · 21/02/2017 07:10

Well done binary and other losers!!
Missed weigh in yesterday so I'm going to go to a pay and weigh on Wednesday and hope for at least 0.5lb off- but not looking likely at the moment!

Groovee · 21/02/2017 08:15

Well done Binary x

LavenderRains · 21/02/2017 08:30

Welcome late you can do good things in 21 weeks!
I've been going 19 weeks and have lost 3 stone. It took me a few weeks to get into the swing of it and I had awful headaches the first few days (junk food withdrawal!) But I love it now. You will get lots of help on this thread.

BasinHaircut · 21/02/2017 08:43

binary good work!

I'm full of determination this morning to have a good week. Now I've got that stone I want to make sure it stays off. Got Sunday lunch out on Sunday but hopefully will be a carvery so should be able to stay on plan.

00100001 · 21/02/2017 09:07

I completely forgot about the SOTW basket - felt bad

Was the cake good lemony?

Who has some good recipes for breakfast that isn't "overnight oats" or "breakfast muffins"? :)

Shamoffour · 21/02/2017 09:08

I Am fuming !!!!!!!!

After being really good I've weighed myself and I've put on 2lbs! All I've ate is bloody speed and protein!!!! Grrr!! I'm hoping its water (on my period) or a really big poo Sad

latedecember1963 · 21/02/2017 09:09

Thank you for the welcomes! Did SW years ago when it was red & green days but I'm seeing this as a totally fresh start. Don't eat meat but do eat fish & love fruit & veg. Not in work this week so it's a good chance to get to grips with the plan.
Have had All Bran with a little milk & sliced banana for breakfast with fruit tea. Have a stack of Assessment papers to mark for next Tues so going to immerse myself in work for a couple of hours to take my mind off nibbling. Meeting friends for lunch. Have checked the online menu & grilled salmon with potatoes &veg followed by sorbet seems a decent option. Driving so diet coke or mineral water to drink.

ClashCityRocker · 21/02/2017 09:10

Oh groovee sorry to hear about your flare-up. My mum has it, it's an awful condition and much misunderstood.

Good job, losers.

Still feeling a wee bit arse from migraine, only good thing is its killed my appetite. Managed some chicken broth last night, but sustaining myself on hot sweet tea so Syns for sugar. Made sure I have lots of quick and easy SW friendly things to grab when my appetite does come back.

basin my consultant does another group that runs just before the one they go to, and everyone skives off on taster days. I think because our groups a bit later, it's easier for people to get home, get sorted and go back out, whereas the other group people seem to go straight from work,Manichaeism which makes it trickier to bring something.

Welcome late, as others have said, lots of good things can happen in 21 weeks.

I am contemplating exercise (will not call it body magic....will not call it body magic...) but I'm worried it will impact my loss. Once I'm feeling better, obviously. But I've heard some people say they put on when they exercise.

Part of me is telling myself not to be so bloody stupid and that exercise should improve health and help weight loss when done in conjunction with diet...the other part of me is saying 'but...'

May go in for some walking and build from there.

00100001 · 21/02/2017 09:11

sham that happened to me - I put it down to my period!

00100001 · 21/02/2017 09:18

clash somepopel put on weight when they start exercising because the body goes "WHOAH! WTF is happening??"

To help 1) Know that you might maintain/put on weight 2) drink lots more water :)

in the end you'll be replacing fat with muscle which weighs more for the same "volume". BUT, don't be disheartened, instead of losing weight, you'll change shape - you'll lose inches not pounds iyswim?

Measure yourself now - eg. boobs, upper arms, belly, bum, thighs.
and then in a couple of weeks (if you are putting on/not losing) measure yourself again and you'll notice a change - this NSV will keep you on track :)

A saying I learned from a friend is "You lose fat in the kitchen, you get fit in the gym"

ALemonyPea · 21/02/2017 10:01

Well done Binary.

Hope your flare up doesn't last long Groovee.

Sham, commiserations on the gain, I've been there, it sucks balls, hoping you have a great loss next week.

All my bruising has come out overnight, I look and feel dreadful. Think more cake is needed. 😉

BasinHaircut · 21/02/2017 10:09

clash exercise only ever be a good thing. Depending on what you do you might not gain much muscle.

But even if you do, a body with muscle will have a much better metabolism and burn more calories than one without so it's all good in the long term!

Depending on how much you have to lose you will likely still see the scales go down anyway.

In other news DH has lost 11lbs and now thinks he is Channing Tatum Grin. He still has a way to go bless him but it's so nice to see him enthusiastic about it. Someone at work noticed he had lost weight yesterday and I think it's given him a big boost.

Groovee · 21/02/2017 10:12

Thanks ladies. Plan to have a filling lunch and have diclofenac before work today.

Weigh in tonight x

Emmageddon · 21/02/2017 12:02

Congratulations losers!!

@Groovee feel better soon Flowers

2.5lb off for me this morning - that's 1st 3lbs since 3rd January. I have decided I'm going to treat myself every half stone, by buying a charm for the bracelet my daughters gave me for Christmas. I've bought 2 charms so far. Another 4 lbs and I can buy another. When I reach target I will have 10 pretty charms dangling from my wrist. trying not to think about how daunting that is
