Anyone want to jump back on the SW wagon with me next week?

I did really well on SW last year until about August when it all went horribly wrong.

We had a good virtual group on here. A lot of us were doing it ourselves rather than going to a group but we had some fantastic 'group losses'.

Does anyone want to join me next week and get going again? I am planning to weigh in on the 6th...

Speedy recovery led :)

WI - as long as you do the same each week in weigh day then won't make a diff - ie if you always eat afterwards then don't eat at 6pm as tummy will be full / but if you eat at 6 then get weighed always eat before iyswim

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/01/2014 23:49

B fruit and yog
L quiche (5) and salad and salad cream (2)
T chicken casserole and veg

A cheese
B 2 bread
S piece of CHOC 3 - fruit

Casserole was yummy. Simply threw in potatoes carrots onion chickpeas and chicken / tin of toms and pint of stock. Added courgette and sweet corn 10mins before ready

Evening. First weigh in since September and I'm 4lb up so 1lb out of target! Going to have to be strict this week - yikes!

I've a headache tonight lisad123, I know I've drunk less today but didn't think about sugar...

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2014 04:32

Bad roly - 3lb gain in 3/4mths isn't bad

Sugar / tbh I don't eat a lot of sugar anyway so no withdrawals from me

Off to harvesters for lunch later

Rem the chicken rice and peas/sweet corn is free (I think) and lots of salad

fruitpastilles · 09/01/2014 14:13

Finally joined today so am on it properly.

B - banana
L - bacon, egg, spaghetti hoops, mushrooms and tomatoes.

D - will be - chicken, boiled potatoes, cabbage, peas and gravy (syns)

Hea and heb will be cheese on toast for supper and I'll have a few quality street chocs to use some syns later.

Can't wait for next week now to see how I'll have done Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2014 16:25

Looks a nice menu fruit :)

B porridge and milk and fruit so a and b
L chicken rice grilled toms and salad - are at harvesters and was yummy and syn free :)
T veggie pasta bake and kiwi

S crisps 5 fruit

WI tomorrow again - week seems to have gone fast. 1 or 2 lbs for this tortoise will be nice - should lose - had about 70 syns this week and stuck to it :)

beanandspud · 09/01/2014 19:45

. That's pretty good going for 4 months off, you'll lose it again quickly.

Good day today...

B - Fruit and yogurt
L - Jacket potato, salad, beetroot, cottage cheese
D - Quorn sausages with mash and slow-cooker veg.

S - Alpen light bars and Options chocolate

Good luck tomorrow Blondes!

Can I join!, I can't go to class and don't want to pay to did it online so it will get my motivation from you all! Weighed this morning and I obviously had a very good christmas Grin

I am also aiming to do The Shred, on the days when I can't get to my exercise class. Did level one this morning and nearly keeled over!
Good luck all.

BadRoly · 10/01/2014 12:09

Waves back at Beans, it's good to see familiar names! I hope you're doing ok with it?

I'm pleased with my weigh in, just gutted that I might have to pay Wink being a tightarse (figuratively not literally otherwise I wouldn't be here - my real arse is decidedly saggy)!

Did ok yesterday but forgot to write it all down. Had a friend round for wine and a catch up but luckily she was on one and drank 3 glasses to one of mine so the 2 bottles didn't last long Grin.

Have good plans for today then gin club tomorrow where it could get a bit messy but have been well below 15syns per day so might get away with it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2014 12:47

What's gin club? I love gin !!!!

2lbs off :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2014 13:13

BadRoly · 10/01/2014 15:40

Excellent Blondes Grin

Gin club is me and 2 friends (sometimes extras) who drink gin, eat crisps and chocolate and put the world to rights but we tell the children we play gin rummy Wink.

NachoAddict · 10/01/2014 17:55

Well done blonds I will be happy with two lbs a week.

Hi Countess I think having a good Christmas was my downfall too! I have the shred but haven't started it yet, going to start it tomorrow after first weight in to give me a boost for the second week.

beanandspud · 10/01/2014 21:05

Well done Blondes - great start to the year!

I'll be round for gin club next week Badroly Grin

Ok day today although a bit scuppered by hotel lunch at work. Prawn salad came covered in dressing so not sure how many syns that would be. Had a huge SW paella for dinner which was yummy! Lots of fruit though.

First Friday night in a while that I haven't got a Wine on the go...

That's what syns are for lisad
Well done blondes

I had a beef chow mein for dinner last night, had to sit and watch dp scoff curry, rice and chips and I didn't even pinch a chip. 8.5 syns for a chow mein, not bad at all!

I'm cooking a chicken curry tonight I think.

NachoAddict · 11/01/2014 11:49

First weigh in this morning and 4.5lb off. Made up with that!!

Sticking to plan this week, got a few recipes to try out.

fruitpastilles that's a good option for a takeaway, I will definitely bear that in mind.

fruitpastilles · 11/01/2014 12:41

Wow nacho that's brilliant, well done.

beanandspud · 11/01/2014 12:44

Well done Nacho - fantastic start!

NachoAddict · 11/01/2014 14:14

Thanks, I am really pleased and it has inspired me to stay on plan even though I am raging with pmt and could eat my body weight in chocolate.

what's on the menu tonight everyone?

Chicken curry sounds nice fruit, will it have veg in?

We are having chicken kievs s/w style.

beanandspud · 11/01/2014 15:10

We're having a SW 'Homity Pie' tonight. Never made it before but it has loads of veggies (and some cheese as HeA) in it and looks quite tasty. Even DH is quite enjoying getting back to 'proper food' again - he polished off leftover SW paella at lunch time and I had leftover veggie sausage stew thing.

Breakfast was fruit and yogurt and I have Alpen Light bars as a HeB. Just need to keep going this evening - Saturday night is traditionally wine and nibbles night here Grin.

Any ideas for 'free' nibbles gratefully received!

whattoWHO · 11/01/2014 16:50

We love homity pie, have it least once a week! I always try to use veg with strong or distinctive flavors to avoid it being a bit bland.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/01/2014 17:54

well done nacho-fab weight loss :)

b fruit and yog
l mugshot and fruit
t spag bol with lots of veg and A for cheese
