Anyone want to jump back on the SW wagon with me next week?

I did really well on SW last year until about August when it all went horribly wrong.

We had a good virtual group on here. A lot of us were doing it ourselves rather than going to a group but we had some fantastic 'group losses'.

Does anyone want to join me next week and get going again? I am planning to weigh in on the 6th...

Thanks Blondes 2.5lb off so I have my first shiny sticker. Half a stone in 2 weeks.

Well done beans

I fell off plan a bit today, cheese and roast beef on thick white bread with tons of full fat mayo.

2 pink and white wafers, a jammie dodger and a 3 pink wafer biscuits

Back on plan for tea though, chicken and bacon rosti pots. Not bad.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/01/2014 18:25

Well done blondes and bean

I can't wait for my dinner I'm bloody starving. I'm having roast chicken with slimming world chips that I have covered in ground garlic and smoked paprika, they smell lovely. Probably do a salad with it too.
Had my 8 yr old cousin today and we baked cookies....... I had 1...... But that's a hell of a lot better than what I'd normally have - most of them Blush

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/01/2014 15:12

Fruit you have inspired me. Roast today tho I shall have sw roasties but making dp proper full fat roasted in oil Envy tarries

B fruit
L tuna and pasta salad and sc 3
T roast chicken pots carrots green beans parsnips and syn free gravy

laughalot · 19/01/2014 18:12

Syn free gravy tell me more ! ! :)

beanandspud · 19/01/2014 19:33

Enjoy your Sunday roasts!

I had Quorn mince for dinner cooked in the slow cooker with carrots and onions which was lovely! Mashed potato, broccoli, kale and carrots so all syn-free apart from a little bit of milk in the mash.

Breakfast was fruit and yogurt; lunch was baked potato with cottage cheese and beetroot and salad.

Had some extra syns yesterday (got the munchies and ended up snacking on laughing cow 'blue cheese' triangles on ryvita) whilst DH had proper cheese on toast Sad so trying to be good today.

SYN FREE GRAVY

GRAVY

Cut large onion into quarters. Place into a microwavable jug. Add 2 tablespoons water and cook in microwave for about 7 minutes. Remove from microwave, crumble in beef stock cube and top with boiled water (not too much). Blitz with a handblender. This should make a nice thick beef gravy. Add more water if needed.

------------------------

Beef gravy....2 oxo cubes dissolved in water, add a splash of soy sauce and allow to simmer. thicken with smash if required, can do chicken gravy too inb the same way using chicken oxo!

NachoAddict · 19/01/2014 20:35

Back on plan today after my melt down yesterday.

B Banana
L kiwi, apple & grapes with yog
D stir-fry and egg fried rice

just munching on a caramel snack a jack with a chopped banana and toffee Greek style Muller light, 3 syns.

syn free gravy I think is blending mushy peas with stock and 3 beef oxo's

I may be wrong though!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/01/2014 23:50

Nacho - what happened yesterday?

Hate mushy peas with a passion so wouldn't like your gravey :)

Had a s&v large snacker jack on the way to work this eve - think 2.5?

Have taken out chicken mince from freezer. Brought months ago as reduced and will make mince mix tomorrow for either shepherds pie or spag Bol

Also for tomorrow off so might make magic pancakes for breakie as never normally have time

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/01/2014 18:41

i do my syns over the week 70/105 i find thats easier then 15 a day as some days i dont eat many and others have say 30 is takeaway so as long as not more then 105 i dont see it makes any diff

was your beef/cheese sarnie on white bread with ff mayo nice :)

magic pancakes, oh gawd they are good Grin

you b in oats so 35g mixed with one egg, i tbsp sweetner and a ml/danone yog - if ml i use half as find too runny

some leave overnight but i never do, so literally mix into paste and then fry light frying pan and i do in 6 small blobs pancakes - 3 each time, make sure they are cooked one side and flip over

i have with chopped banana/grapes/blueberries/ but any fruit

some drizzle teaspoon of honey (1 syn)

NachoAddict · 20/01/2014 19:05

They sound good blondes, will try them at the weekend or maybe as a treat after tea one night. What oats do I need to buy, we only have Quaker oats cinnamon in, they will have syns in?

It was delicious. I savoured every mouth full Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/01/2014 19:18

I just use normal porridge oats. Assume cinnamon should be on as cinnamon is free - are they a b option?

Shepherds pie was actually ok :) did carrot and swede mash and used a for cheese :)

DP wasn't impressed

NachoAddict · 20/01/2014 20:07

I just made choc cake in a cup for 2 syns so a total of 4.5 syns today, much better.

I will have to look into the porridge oats, might just buy some plain ones tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed your tea, it makes it so much easier to stick to plan when you enjoy what your eating.

laughalot · 20/01/2014 20:42

Thanks blondes for gravy advice :). 2lb off this week, coming off a lot slower this year but I guess I am not as fat lol.

fruitpastilles · 20/01/2014 21:25

Those pancakes sound nice blondes as does the choc cake in a cup nacho what's the recipe? I've still got some syns left for today and fancy something sweet.

I've eaten far too much pasta for dinner, I know it's a free food, but I don't see how I can lose with the amount I've just eaten lol.

L ham, cockles, seafood sticks, cucumber and tomato
D pasta bolognaise

fruitpastilles · 20/01/2014 21:25
