Booked euro tunnel this weekend for March 2016, apartment booked and hotels either side booked, so excited already, any one else want to join in :)

We're booked for the first week of Easter hols - cannot wait!!

Les Arc 2000, high and great resort, skied there this year and loved it, daughter is getting better than me !!! She will be over taking me next year :)

We're going for 2 weeks in Easter this year. Off to Zillertal again in Austria- such a beautiful place we started going to a few years back. Usually we only go a week but DS is on a ski trip the first week with school so the rest of us will be going to another place and will pick him up for our second week.

Yes, bring it on!

We're doing a cheeky adults only long weekend to Avoriaz in January and then a week in Austria at half-term with the children.

We're also hoping to squeeze in a couple of days in Italy when we're there at Xmas visiting the relatives.

Can't wait!

My 10 year old leaves me for dust and my 6 year old is catching up with him. She flies down the mountain in extreme snow-plough, it's a wonder to behold.

My 6 year old is flying past me !! just love it, said we were not going next year as want summer and cant afford both, booked within 5 days of being back this year !!

We are off in January with Club Med to L'Alp d'heuz (not sure I've spelt that right). Has anyone else been there or on a Club Med ski holiday?

I've been to Alpe d'Huez, I took a mixed ability group pre-DC's. It is a lovely open sunny resort with other activities available as well. A nice ice rink and a swimming pool that is both indoors and outdoors, you swim through from in to outside, roll in the snow & jump back in again if you are bonkers like me

Morzine for Christmas - this is with family (and funded by them) so not necessarily a lot of skiing.

Then Ardent in January with Family Ski.

Our 10 and 7 year olds are both very capable on their skis - they both need area passes for their lessons now so cost us a fortune!

Pesto- I would recommend you book a table at the lac du besson for a sunny day. arriving there and having a late lunch on the terrace is one of my all time favourite ski memories.

Sainte Foy again X 2 for us - new year and Easter. Will probably do a couple of days in Val or Les Arcs for variety; my kids (9&11) are demons now and can't be keep on piste so it's good to go somewhere a bit bigger for a change.

Just booked for January (no DC) to Verbier. Super excited.

Is anyone off to the ski show this week? A non-skiing friend and his snowboarding GF are coming with us. We may come away with a late season break

Can I join in? We are doing a holiday of the lifetime thing this Christmas and going to Canada. I can't wait and the DC are losing sleep already.
The three older DS's all ski very well but 6yo DS has never even been on snow so is spending the holiday in ski school.

I've been to Alpe D'huez in summer to do the Megavalance. Love Morzine and Avoriaz.

What's Passo like?

We're going to Austria twice this season to the Ski Amade area.

lovetoskimum, we are also off to Arc2000, but in January. DH, two adult DSs, DGS 22, and me - 71, plus three friends. We have skiied there many times, and picked it this year as a change from Courchevel, where we have been for the last three years, as there is plenty of skiing for the lads especially with the link to La Plagne, but nice easy stuff for ancient old me. We are staying at the Hotel Aiguille Rouge as usual. Ski in ski out, that's what I like.

This will be the first time we've been to Austria.. Got a really good deal on a chalet there for half-term as French prices were ridiculous. There are 31 of us going! Anyone been to Nassfeld before?

Tirfarthoin, Canada sounds amazing, hubby is 50 in 4 years and would really love to take him either there or Norway for the skiing and Northern lights.

Tricky, stayed in Arc 1600 this year but decided to try 2000, staying at the Arolles Neiges apartments, whats 2000 like for places to eat and drink ?? Did not have time to head over to La plagne but maybe next year,

Lovetoski, not too clued up on places to eat in Arc2000, because DH and I go full board at the hotel, as we like a longish skiing morning, a good french lunch (wine included at the Ag. R) then a snooze in the afternoon. The younger element are just half board so they can eat out on the slopes. Consequently we know nothing about restaurants in the resort. The sons grumbled a bit because they reckon the night life is low key, they were agitating for St Anton, because they like the tough skiing and apres ski there, but he who pays the piper......etc. in fact there are a lot more drinking spots than when we first went there, and you can get the little bucket lift down to 1950 for a change of scene.

Tricky, thanks for that, I have heard about the bucket lift between resorts, we are self cater so wouldn't eat out that much but love a good place for a vin chaud !! Not worried about night life, as too tired in the eve for that now !!!

Just got to be brave now and tell school we are taking her out !!!

Good luck with that! We are not taking the small DGCs this year because of SATS etc, but I am faintly annoyed that the school is running a ski trip which includes several school days. If it's OK for the school, why not for parents?

Tricky, just can not afford half term and Easter this year broke the bank !!!

Our school do not authorise but she has good attendance otherwise !!
