Disabled private messages

Are pms disabled for everyone, or just me? Anyone know why?

Morning @Unexpecteddrivinginstructor. We're afraid it's not really possible to temporarily restore PMs - we're sorry.

Due to a few technical challenges, reinstating PMs is taking longer than we anticipated, but ensuring everything works reliably is our top priority and we want to be confident that when PMs return, they do so without any issues. We’re actively working on this and will provide an update as soon as possible.

I know!! :( I came on here to message you and saw they were disabled and thought it was just me for a while. How are you doing? Hope you’re well.
I’d actually come on to see how you’d got on using the ovulation tests this month? I didn’t get a positive until CD 20, vs. CD 16 last cycle so i’m glad I used them or I’d have completely missed the window and stopped earlier than we needed!! Not sure what caused the delay but going for bloods tomorrow to check whether I actually did ovulate or not because I’ve got none of the symptoms I had after ovulation last month :/

I have a blondes email I set up years ago when joined mn as didn’t want all the emails into my usual account

Maybe they’re considering making it a premium only feature to prevent what happened happening again. The perpetrators would be less likely to pay (and therefore provide their details) to continue their campaign of sending those awful images.

Hi @Blondeshavemorefun the new app won't have a PM function (it's quite a big job to add them) but it's something we're looking into for the future.

Is it just me or is anyone else not getting notifications when they have a message? You normally have a blue number next to the profile icon but I’m not getting that (settings are all correct). I had a message this afternoon but didn’t know until I checked my email.

I don’t get notifications either but it was intermittent before too.

I know it’s not entirely reliable but I always had web notifications before, email notifications were a bit more hit and miss.

Oh well 😂
