MN needs a closer watch of FWR

There is a concerning growth of posts with racist undertones cropping up on these boards, all under the guise of being proudly 'anti-woke'.

Apparently diversity is 'woke' and worthy of derision.

Mumsnet needs to looks at why that board draws such types of posts, and why posters feel so comfortable openly airing their racism.

The lies one can tell about posts that are deleted and pretending they are something they were not, such as a 'personal attack' and something to get on your high horse about, are the reason I don't report things.

I don't expect anything else. The hypocrisy on here is too much. I would post the screenshot of that post but why would I if it's been deleted? Why would it be deleted if it didn't have anything that goes against t and c? I thought mnhq is good at that.or are you saying they just delete for no reason?

Secondly, even if I posted a screenshot and shone a light on it, the likes of you would still see what you want and claim what isn't there.

The posts that have been deleted were asking if Karensmanager was okay and suggesting they were getting upset and may benefit from a break. AFAIR.

I know it's difficult to take when one person stands up to a 5 or more person tag-team. If nothing else works, the lies, insults and hypocrisy come out to get them to run. If that doesnt work, the victim card is played as if they've been wronged for being stood up to and their rule breaking posts being deleted. Sorry, it hasn't worked so far.

Sorry you haven't 'remembered' quite well. I'd suggest facts and accuracy over trying to omit what got posts removed. If in doubt, my subsequent posts in response to the deleted posts should give some clue...but you all know that.

And the thread is only "meant to be about racism" because it is using the common tactic of piggybacking on issues that are widely accepted to be "bad" - racism and homophobia - to whip up the desired outrage because the charge of transphobia has lost much of its power to shame and now mostly gets eyerolls.

This. You can't start a thread specifically laying into FWR about "racism" and not bother to post examples or explain exactly which posts you have issues with, and then not expect the discussion to move onto more obvious topics.

The posters suggesting that the only reason FWR isn't full of racist posts is because they have assiduously reported them all have the ability to prove both what was said and the fact that they reported it without needing to reveal anything.

But there is no equivalence between finding live examples of what you claim in your blanket statements and me providing personal evidence of my right-doing?

And Margot, why is it important that I provide evidence of me reporting a post for this exercise? Do you understand why it has become important? Please explain. Why are you expecting me or any poster to provide evidence of any poster’s reporting history, and for what purpose?

I also think that the failure to engage with the actual racism highlighted by @BelleHathor is very very telling.
