MN very slow and keep getting this error message

Been having problems with mn this morning, it is horrendously slow and then I keep getting this error message as well
Not sure if it is just me
I am on iPad safari using desktop (because I cannot access the mobile site)

MN is clearly undergoing a DoS attack. My browser is getting checked all the time at the moment.
I'm beginning to think this too. I guess they know MN is an easier target at the weekend, it's been hours now and no fix / solution.

I've had 2 different messages in the last few minutes. Slow here as well. All other sites normal. Samsung galaxy tablet.

Mumsnet's back up but it seems we are suffering a ddos attack. Our firewalls are mostly coping but it does mean that our App is temporarily down - big apologies to our app users

Was tweeted 15 minutes ago, so obviously slightly optimistic, as i'm still struggling to get on and i'm not on the App.

Hi all, We've been suffering a DDOS attack since approx 11.30 this am. Our firewalls are most working but that does mean that you get the message 'checking your browser' message and that the app is out of action for now. Big apologies - we're obviously doing our best to resolve.
