AIBU Topic specifically for Coronavirus

What do you think? Free up actual AIBU for the petty gripes of old, get rid of the AIBUs relating to the pandemic?
It could have the voting and everything!

Oh yes please! So many of the AIBU threads are actually hiding Coronavirus threads. Most of them not even asking AIBU.

Another vote for yes, with posters strongly encouraged to use it.

Either that or MNHQ move everything coronavirus related into the correct topic like they did at the beginning. I suppose that would involve a lot of work at their end, so a specific topic would be better.

What's the point? People will still post wherever they like and posts will still get left there so that "lots of MNers can benefit from the discussions" or something.

Unless threads are going to be moved every time there is little point.

Apparently it's where posters should go to be corralled if they don't want to see coronavirus threads all over the boards.

We've already got one. People just don't use it or post in AIBU for "traffic."

Yes, but not an AIBU sub topic with voting. Which is why a lot of posters are putting Covid stuff on AIBU

I personally don't care, but sparklingbrook does and she's a giid egg, so her wish should be granted!

Plus I do think there are a lot of people on here who are struggling and need to be able to zone out and avoid Covid threads which they can't do when they're mixed in other topics. I'm sure people could cope without enabling voting in their threads, but they don't seem to want to consider it🙄

TBF the answer is generally 'yes, very' to any CV AIBU question. But at least people that enjoy the silliness of AIBUs about other stuff wouldn't have to look for it in amongst all the CV petty gripes.

What's a plane?

I miss the reclining seats on an aeroplane threads. Have all cats self isolated because I've not seen a 'cat poo in the garden' thread for ages. No 'shoes on or off in the house' threads as nobody is allowed visitors. No dogs running wild and invading people's picnics.

This time last year we were in South Africa, enjoying the sunshine.
