i'd only just recovered from Julys incident and started posting again.... seriously need to find/host another forum where racism and disability is masked, ignored, tolerated and revered by the very people who are supposed to protect us - the Forum itself!

I think it goes back to the diversity of mn and mnhq. It appears they don't care and don't want to care.

I prefer posts to be left to stand rather than deleted straight off. Quite happy to argue the toss openly rather than encourage a culture of panic censorship so as not to cause offence as with the trans issues of late. We are all adults and this site has always been largely self regulating.

Sadly I'm mn prime demographic.
I'm mid 40s, 2 kids, Dh, work pt, white, middle class, lefty liberal....

If they're going to let posts stand as a way of "educating" others they should be more consistent with that approach. If that was the general culture of the site I wouldn't mind, but it seems the only ones left to "educate" are the racist ones.

I agree Muffy. There are some topics which get deleted straight away. Race is a free for all. You complain and then it takes ages to get deleted. But prior to that it's almost as if they excuse the racism.

We all "piss in the same pot" as my darling nana says. We are all also fucking human and have the same colour running through us. People just need to wake up and realise we are now in 2016 and multicultural living is fucking normal pisses me off that nobody's actually that bothered about racism but as others have said if someone was to say something about disabled people it would get dealt with straightaway .. Just makes you think really WTFFFFF!!!!
