Totally agree with you. Apparently saying black people commit most crime in this country is NOT a racist statement. Well maybe it is just ignorance but why should it be left to stand?

The thread is inherently racist - stating prejudice as fact as well as an op who even if not acting in bad faith is offensive. It is extremely poor that the moderater stated an interpretation of the op rather than acknowledge its racism. You might want to review training, although I'd politely request that the post is deleted as it's extremely offensive to let it stand and I think the moderators message exacerbates the offence post rather than supporting the thread in any way.

Normally I hugely sympathise with MNHQ but I have to admit I'm baffled.

I just don't see how any sane person could click on that thread and not be horrified by how offensive it is.

They are always left up to "educate" the mouth breathing knuckle draggers who spout such bile
Sadly the (many) posters it offends don't count
Posters with disabled children shouldn't be used as educational tools
It's their kids and their life ffs!

MNHQ, it is pretty appalling that thread is still up even after multiple people have reported it. What on earth kind of bar does something have to hit before it gets deleted as racist? That poster outright said that black people commit most of the country's violent crimes, and that's just fine and dandy?

Equality and Diversity is the current term used for 'Equal Opportunities'. It is the legal obligation to protect against discrimination. Discrimination can be against a person's sex, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, belief, race or age

MNHQ have a LEGAL duty to protect against discrimination.......
