Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen .

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

Mine's been doing that quite a lot AYD2 lately, not just on my phone (windows) but my tablet (android). Usually reload and it comes up as normal. I had the Tesco thing as well twice today on my phone as I said on the other thread.

Ugh, how horrible. The tech team is still working on this. We really appreciate your patience, we know this is unpleasant and are very sorry that it's still happening.

Have just had this pop up when I tried to browse active threads.

Then a 'your phone is infected' warning that was difficult to close, and then when I got rid of it, mumsnet froze completely.

I've had the Tesco voucher tosh and a kindle pop up too. No more pop-up porn thankfully. Have removed all cache / browser history and installed AVG. I'll try the other app if happens again.

I had this yesterday. Just scrolling through the odd thread and suddenly random porn ad. I hadn't clicked on anything but got redirected several time to some random porn site. Hope this gets sorted soon.

I keep getting giant Mumsnet too... everything is huge. I refresh a couple of times and then it goes

Last night I suddenly got redirected to a site saying my phone has a virus. Had to shut browser down completely.
Tonight I've been suddenly redirected to a page saying I've won tesco vouchers.
Both times I'd just opened up MN mobile site but not clicked on any threads/links.

Using Android phone, chrome browser.

Revolting porn pop up. Android phone, chrome. Not happy.

Also had sainsbury competition winner yesterday but no enormous fat penis on that one!

Our ad partners' tech teams have been scanning MN all day but alas, have not been able to replicate the issues. They've asked for some help from MNers, so if anyone is able to do the following we'd all be extremely grateful.

In order to pinpoint the rogue ad we need to obtain a clicktag on a mobile device. To obtain this, click and hold on the ad, and wait for a popup displaying a URL to appear. Copy the URL, and send that to [email protected], along with a description of the pop-up and/or a screenshot.

Sorry, I won't be clicking on the ads. I tried to do a screen shot a few weeks ago and my whole phone shut down, I'm not risking it.

I'll do it should the porn page pop up again. Got it several times yesterday, not once today.

I never clicked on any ads the times it happened to me

I'm on a Kindle Fire (using Silk browser) and have just had the porn pop ups after opening a thread on chat. I didn't click on any links; the crap just appeared whilst I was reading the first post.

I really hope this is resolved quickly as some of us are getting a bit fed up. I'll be damned if I am going to have to do a factory reset for the sake of one website.

I did what you said- this one was a supermarket winner jobby- the url didn't appear.

Clicking on an ad goes against my nature! But I will try and remember!

There is no url when the ad opens out of the blue.

I've put in some gaps.

I tried to copy the link address from the supermarket one when it appeared yesterday, but it wouldn't copy across to the clipboard. I have sent an email this morning with the links from my phone history.
