Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen .

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

I tried to copy the link address from the supermarket one when it appeared yesterday, but it wouldn't copy across to the clipboard. I have sent an email this morning with the links from my phone history.

I've just had the email I sent to contactus bounced back, due to "your email to group [email protected] was rejected due to spam classification." Which is ironic!

I'm having the same issues; random supermarket vouchers / porn add just from clicking on an active thread.

Have you managed to replicate the problem and solve it?

Forgot to say, have the issue on Android with Chrome and a gigantic MN logo on my Mac (also running chrome with ad block)

Just had the above when clicked on active. Android chrome.

Was another porn local thingy.

Anytime I back clicked it just went deeper into more ads.

Haven't had time to read the whole thread, but I was on the SN session in swimming pool thread when my phone (Nokia Lumia) suddenly redirected me to a porn side... Was called "f*swipe" I think 😞

I was going to start my own post here but it seems similar to what other people have experienced so am just posting here to flag it up. Hope that's OK - I think I'm going to stay off aibu for a while, really don't want that stuff on my phone!

I was reading a post on chat this morning on my phone (browser not app, which I don't have) and a porn window appeared in place of the thread. Pressing the back button didn't help so I closed the tab. I was having the same issues yesterday but the tabs/windows were for Iceland, Tesco etc competitions. Sorry I've not rtft but I know people were having issues with porn pop ups on the mobile site yesterday so thought I'd let you know I'm experiencing the same today. Phone is a Vodafone smart ultra 6 and browser is Chrome.

I keep getting redirected to some Tesco Competition shut when I click on threads I'm on. I have ads blocked on my Kindle Fire and have never clicked on anything. This has not happened to me on any other site.

I've had the Tesco one and the porn one using Chrome on Android (Samsung Galaxy Note 4). I think it was through clicking through from the active threads box but it's possible I may accidentally have clicked on exactly the same spot in the thread as it opened.

I just clicked on a thread under "Active" and got porn.

I've had the Tesco one and the one telling me I've won a phone. Yesterday evening, around 8-9pm. Just reading a thread each time, didn't click any links. I don't have Pokemon Go. All my apps are ones I've had for ages which were transferred to this new phone a couple of weeks ago. HTC Chrome.

Not immensely keen on clearing my cache, either, TBH, but at least it's not a full factory reset.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a massive hardship or anything - but mildly irritating.
