Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen .

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

I'd left my phone for a while - still on mn, came back to some spin the wheel site which I couldn't get out of, had to close chrome and reopen.

Just happened to me too. Samsung phone, just reading a thread, no clicking on links and it redirected to a porn site.

I keep getting 'fuck swipe' pages on my phone when I click on an active thread.

I think this happened to me, telling me people on my social networks were looking for sex. Graphic picture.
I assumed I'd clicked on something, did I not?

Yep me too on an android phone. Of course perhaps this wouldn't happen if we had our app back.

And again. The broken teens site this time when clicking on an aibu link.

Last two days I've had odd things ie going back to list of talk subjects tsp instead of thread I clicked on and just now got redirected to a sexdate site, I spotted it in the title box and shut it down so I offski for a few days.

Just happened to me too.

Reading a thread on the mobile site and then redirected to a porn site.

Christ! I read this thread and thought "poor lot". And then the very next thread I clicked on... fuck swipe.

Just happened to me too - it came up when I clicked on a thread (about a car parked on someones drive) and not following any dodgy link. Someone or other wants to trade nude photos with me apparently. I do not.

Just got it as well.
No links, just clicked on active.

Yeah- I didn't click on anything. Was just reading a thread.

I got it twice tonight.

Just happened to me, iPhone, Safari, didn't click on anything , I was reading the thread on the Turkish coup and then it disappeared and up popped the porn site.

And again 10.26pm

Me too, on a Sony Xperia in the middle of reading a thread from "in the News" So glad I'm not the only one!!

Oh dear I have been confronted with a fanjo in all it's glory just by opening a thread
10.23pm on android tablet using chrome. Avast is not picking up any threats.

WE've got tech working on this right now
In the meantime thanks to thoe who have posted helpful links - we'll remove those to prevent any extra traffic but thanks for refs
Please do keep any other instances coming so we can fix this

• screenshots of what's going on/where you're being linked from good sites to wrong uns= good
• screenshots of porn = no thank you very much
