Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen .

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

Just to clarify - have some of you had this happen when you clicked on links to Mumsnet threads?

And some of you just suddenly found yourselves redirected to a porn page, without having just clicked on anything at all?

I just got the broken teens one. Think I might give mn a rest until this is sorted

Yes I didn't touch anything on my screen as was reading when suddenly my page changed to unwanted content.

This just happened to me. Was reading a thread, didn't click on any link or ad ( a least not deliberately) and got directed to a site with a big close up of a penis entering some woman! Am an android. I run anti virus regularly so dont think it was already there.

This has happened to me twice today. Not porn but some dodgy congratulations you've won spam shit that's a pita to close down and pop ups left right and centre.

I got it too. mine came with a fake virus warning asking me to download some shot malware. Not bloody likely. I rebooted the phone and ran a virus scan which of course came up clear. As soon as I clicked on Chrome again the buzzy site came up again but I clicked the tab off and it hasn't returned.

I was just scrolling style and beauty and a teen porn site came up with a 'you have to be an adult to click here' type of message.
Never happened before and no I don't visit dodgy sites!

I've also had this one about 5 times today when clicking on a thread.

I've just had one too. I clicked on the blue bar link for 'Active threads' and got redirected to some rank site.

This just happened to me too. I was trying to go back to Active threads, and a porn thing appeared. Android, Chrome, mobile site. It was a site link, not external.
