MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

I've upgraded from ios 7 to ios 8.3 and so far so good, no more crashes.

The page loading is a bit annoying though - kind of flicks back to the previous page then back to the correct one, but that's nowhere near as annoying as the crashing.

Selks, how is iOS 8.3 more generally though? I do a lot of typing (on Pages) on ipad, and I've heard that you can't type properly on iOS8 because it keeps freezing. Much as I hate the MN crashes, my ipad would be useless to me if I couldn't type documents.

It is awful for me today, was trying to get on threads in the " last 15 mins " section and tried several times?no success at all. Just right back to my screen.

MN is almost unusable for me. I love this forum so much, I grit my teeth and plow on..but it is becoming unendurable.

It's been totally unusable for me for about a week now, the page just keeps reloading every few seconds! I'm using Safari on iPhone and don't have this problem with any other site :(

EcclefechanTart, I'm finding ios 8.3 fine all round so far, no problems at all. I haven't typed any documents though. I think the earlier versions of ios 8 were very buggy and full of issues but this version seems ok.

Using my ipad and it is continually crashing when I'm on mumsnet. No issues with any other site or with Face book. It is MIGHTY annoying!

I'm still having the same problem, I'm only posting today because i'm on the laptop rather than my iPad. It's odd, it crashes continuously and sometimes takes 3 attempts to get from a thread back to active conversations. Very frustrating. The week before last was much better, it hardly crashed at all.

It did crash when I was on another site the other day for the first time but I can't remember now which site that was. I'll make a note if it happens again.

Are you sure it's just IOS? I'm on android and it seems to take ages to load and sometimes crashes.

So I updated to iOS 8.3 clicked on an MN thread, all excited, and it blanked out immediatly! Angry

24 hours from following Tech's advice and updating, it's as bad as ever, but on this site only.

Another iPad/Safari user and it crashes all the time. I have stayed away from MN because it is virtually unusable.

It isn't just the threads crashing, it happens a lot when I try to post something as well, it has happened on other sites but very rarely and MN is definitely the worst. This has now been going on since March.

Jesus, sort this out someone! It's got to the point where I'm amazed when a thread dies doesn't crash now!
