MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

I'm on iPad iOS 8.3 and tonight it has just been continually crashing. I appreciate that you're working hard to get to the root of the problem but, for now, I'm finding mumsnet totally unusable.

I've just about given up tonight too....every time I try and read another page, click on a link, post something......down it goes. Every sodding time.

Me too. Once again I'm off after the last 6 times I've clicked, it's crashed.

This site has become unusable. The issue has got worse over the last few days. I use the internet extensively on my Ipad both for work and leisure and Mumsnet is the only site where this is happening. Will pop back in a month or so and see whether it's been fixed, farewell Mumsnet!

Its almost May and this issue has been happening continually since the middle of March. Not good enough, tbh. I am starting to suspect that the visit stats haven't been affected enough for this bug to be an overwhelming priority.

I'm on a PC at the moment so I've finally been able to visit the Thread I'm On that simply will not load for me whenever I'm on my ipad (IOS 8.2). It's completely bizarre that this particular thread is the most problematic of all. Every single time I try to open it, it freezes and just keeps scrolling round with no result. I now can't access it at all on the ipad.

I just tried to open a thread and it took until the fourth time before I succeeded. It seems to be getting worse. Every thread it seems to crash at least once.

Worse than ever today. I've down updated to IOS 8.3 and it hasn't helped at all!

It sets off the fan on my Mac (laptop)

Waiting for log.pinterest.com seems to be the guilty one which slows things up on this computer.

I have been on MN for a few threads and it was working fine, got in and out of all of them and flicked through the pages etc with no crashes. Thought it had fixed but then lo and behold the next thread crashed

Every time I click into a new thread or a new page on a thread it crashes. It so driving me bonkers. When will it be fixed?

Terrible today.
I suppose it could be a cue for me to do something more productive.

Still really bad, takes me umpteen attempts to get into a thread. Time I just havnt got, I feel my MN days are numbered

Crashing really bad today!

Crashing absolutely dreadful today. Has been getting worse all week and I have totally given up trying to log in during the evening.

Surely you have some idea what is wrong MN. Please keep us updated (preferably on the log in page as it takes numerous attempts to get this far) as to what you are trying to do to fix this. Otherwise we will just assume you are not interested and will stop trying to use the site !!

Another one here, on an iPad mini, who's finding this website unusable. Very amateurish, it's like using a computer in 1999, with dodgy html version appearing with the image of a woman with pigtails puffing out her cheeks

Thank you for the continued feedback. As mentioned before, we have filed 2 bug reports with Apple regarding the crashing. We've also found that a particular element on the page from Comscore sometimes uses a lot of resources which may trigger the crash more often than normal. Comscore engineers are working to resolve this and I'll post again when we've heard back from them, although this may not be a 100% fix as the real problem lies in iOS. Thanks for your patience.
