MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

If you are able to upgrade to 8.3 we have been informed by Apple that the crashing (where it disappears and goes back to your home screen) is fixed in that version. And on our office and personal iPads, we are not able to make it crash on 8.3 whereas we can on 7.x

I'm on ios 7.3. I don't want to upgrade to 8! It doesn't work at all with one of the apps I use most often.

(If it's the only way to make MN work, I guess I will consider it, but at the moment it doesn't look like it does make MN work).

We're trying everything we can, but ultimately we're attempting to workaround a bug that has nothing to do with Mumsnet. Threads like this confirm it. We're not giving up though. If you'd like to help to push Apple to fix these problems, you can submit your own feedback to Apple. In the meantime, we'll continue to try and find a workaround. Thanks.

The page reloading thing is happening on various websites so looks like an apple issue. But the 'cannot parse response' is only happening for me on mn.

MN is the only site that crashes, for me. Every other site works perfectly.

Still happening only on mumsnet to me as well.
I've hardly been on for the last few weeks as it's so annoying.

Crashing everytime I switch threads, and sometimes even when I click to the next page. Only an issue on MN. The site is basically unuseable for me a lot of the time. I no longer persist in opening MN up again, but just go elsewhere.

It's only on mn for me too. I've found it seems to be worse in the evenings (I guess when traffic is higher) - it still crashes back to the home screen during the day, but I can usually view 5 or so pages before it does it, rather than the 1 or 2 that I get in the evenings. It may just be coincidence though! I'm running ios7 on a 2nd gen ipad, and am really really reluctant to upgrade to ios8 (aside from anything else, I reckon I would have to delete most of the things I have on here to free up enough memory!)

MN is basically unusable tonight, as Sarafi lags so badly it takes an age to type a short sentence. Driving me nuts!

Another one, only mumsnet causing me the problems. Every single thread or page I try says a problem occurred with this website, reloading.

I use my iPod touch, Safari, version 8.3.

I've not really noticed the reloading issues the past few days but the issue I've been getting since iOS 8 is on discussions.apple.com/thread/6782714 this thread.

I have been blaming some of the ads since it started happening on here, most recently the Ocado one but I've had no problems that I've noticed the past few days (not even with Ocado) and I could be clutching at straws blaming the ads anyway!

Doing it loads at the moment. Also it keeps logging me out when it crashes, even though I have "keep me logged in" ticked. Soooooo annoying!!

Mine was OK for a week or so after a period of almost continual crashes. Now it's back to crashing on every page. It seems to happen when I try to open another page and it's really annoying now, to the point of making MN almost unusable.

We have made a new, separate bug report to Apple now for the slightly different incarnation of this in iOS 8 (bug report number 20650483). We are also working with other websites who are having similar issues in an attempt to find a solution to this. I realise some of you are having issues on non iOS devices, but since we can more easily see this problem on Safari iOS we are focussing on solving that first and then will look at the other platforms. Thanks for your continued feedback and patience.

Right now, I am on Mumsnet on Safari on an iMac and it is working fine. When I try to use Mumsnet on Safari on my iPad, each time I click on a new thread, safari closes. I open it up and it takes me a page back from where I was. I reclick the thread I wanted, and it usually opens the second time. Sometimes it crashes again though and I am finally successful the last time.

To be honest, it is now so slow to access Mumsnet on my iPad, that I've almost given up. It just takes too long and is too frustrating.

It doesn't crash with any other website.

Thanks for all your work on it at HQ - it must be frustrating to try to fix. I'm not sure if it's helpful to have a log of how bad it's been, but today has been particularly bad for crashing after a few days of it being more intermittent.
