Thank tou so much for my parcel that arrived just before Christmas. I kept it for Christmas Day and I loved the smellies inside, thank you! I'm not sure if you are the same secret Santa that sent my other box of goodies that I was also keeping for Christmas Day? I'm thinking you might be as the wrapping paper was the same... If so, thank you so much. The children enjoyed opening them, and the tree decorations will be used year on year :-)

Anyway, I was so touched just to be nominated but your gifts are so lovely. I think you must have excellent taste as I'd spied both of the things you sent for DS and DD couldn't be happier with hers. Thank you for my generous voucher, I've treated myself. I honestly can't believe how lovely people can be...

Thanks for your kind wishes too. DD is doing really well and despite an admission in hospital leading up to Christmas we were sent home Christmas Eve.

Was just checking the email I originally got from MNHQ and spotted that I am actually SantaC, not SantaA1434, as I had at first assumed. Hadn't really noticed that there was a difference until I re-read bits of this thread!

Still, I'm hoping that MN1434 doesn't have a thieving postie. I don't care about the thank-you, I just want to know that it got there safely. MNHQ, didn't you add something this year about a link to click for the recipient to confirm the arrival of stuff? And a little reminder from your good selves...?

I have just received your gift this morning and in my 35 week pregnant state am in floods of tears. I am so touched that a relative stranger has taken the time to chose such beautiful things for me and my children. Im sure when my dd and ds get home at tea time they will be thrilled, nothing better than an unexpected late gift! And when my unborn little monkeys finally arrive, I'm certain the gifts for them will be equally well received!!

I'm not really sure how this whole secret santa works so I am desperately hoping that whoever sent my lovely parcel gets to read this message.

I have had a rather amazing year really, it is the first time in my adult life I have not been sectioned in a psychiatric hospital. I have actually started working for my local trust to improve services. And of course, I am two weeks away from having identical twins. I have been so well supported here on mumsnet and have felt the kindness and humanity of some people has really carried me through. It is just the icing on the cake that one of these lovely people has been so generous and thoughtful so send me Christmas presents. I really am touched. I wish I could write and thank you properly but please know that I will never forget your kindness. Lots of love.

To lovely anonymous Santa - I have no idea what your Santa name is, but I received a lovely box of goodies on Monday, which was the day I went back to work for the first time in 18 months due to maternity leave, then breast cancer. We were all massively touched to come home to some lovely goodies. I was in tears and my boys were flabbergasted. DD was too young to be flabbergasted but she very much liked her eggs and the chocolate. In case you don't recognise yourself, one of your present to me was a very funky heart necklace which I love - and will definitely detract attention from my lack of boobs!
