LISTEN UP PEOPLE!
There's a wee techie glitch on the mail shoot to donors. BUT DON'T PANIC. All is good.
Every donor has received two duplicate mails. They are completely the same, even though you may have spotted that the MN donor number/code is ever-so-slightly different on each one. But this is of no consequence, the important bit it is the gift details, which are the same in each mail. You obviously don't have to send the same thing out twice.
Here's what you do. Login to MN and click on your Secret Santa button in the bottom left of any MN page, which says 'Have you sent your Secret Santa gift?'. Here you will see the details of your match or matches if you've donated more than one gift.
On your address label, there will be a line saying 'donated by' - followed by a number. This is your donor number/code.
Proceed as directed. Massive apologies for any confusion or panic.

Good to see the gift exchange is running smoothly. (We'll take a look at the lost parcel alert - thank you) Many thanks to everyone who've come on the thread to post either that they've posted a parcel, or to say thank for receiving a parcel. It makes the heart sing. And YES they're knitted baked goods - awesome!

Hi Madamedupin and all of you who are experiencing difficulty changing your username to your Secret Santa code. We're so sorry that you are having a problem. We've passed the issue with all the details to our tech dudes who are taking a look and will be sorting this out as soon as possible.

And a reminder (thanks ZeroSomeGameThingy) that code numbers for Secret Santa nominees and donors can be found in the pop up box on the bottom left of any page on Mumsnet. But heads up, you do need to have logged in first. With logs on the fire and gifts on the tree A time to rejoice in the good that we see.

Happy New Year Everyone! We hope you all had a great festive break and enjoyed taking part in the Secret Santa 2014. A big thank you from MNHQ to each and every one of you.
To all of you who have been bemused by our super tech coding system this year, we send a big hug along with an apology. A techie glitch along with a bit too much detail has understandably caused many of you to question what on earth was going on. Nothing went wrong with any of the match mails, but we did cause confusion. We are sorry, our intentions were heartfelt, honest, and please be assured we will be streamlining the coding system for next year.
Thank you again for your generosity and festive spirit, we hope to see you all again for the Secret Santa 2015!
