It's logging me out... again!

Anytime I navigate away from MNet (I know, I do try not to do it, but sometimes I need to look at other sites 'kay? ) I'm logged out and have to log back in again. Even if I have two tabs running, it happens when I switch from one to the other.

I've tried it on a variety of devices and browsers;

• iPhone running latest software update (7.1?) and using Safari & Chrome.
• Kindle Fire using Chrome and Silk
• Laptop running Windows 7 and using Chrome & Firefox. I couldn't bring myself to try IE.

It's not the end of the world, but it is annoying.

Tech did sort it last time, but whatever he/she/they have upgraded has reset it for me (at least!).

Same here! It's been happening to me all day. On iphone 5c with the latest IOS 7, and on an ipad 2 also with the latest IOS 7. When I come back to MN and go to the login page, my email and password are already in the boxes (auto save thingy) so all I have to do is click login.

Got Mumsnet was down a while ago - but still have the same problem...
Not fixed for me yet!
(might try and clear history/cookies etc again though - but maybe not tonight...have got stuff to do for an early start tomorrow...!)

Thanks for bearing with us, folks, (even those of you who are getting really cross about it...) We will get there in the end, we always do, but it is a pain if you're the ones getting kicked out all the time.

Happening to me too. On PC with Firefox and on Android phone.

You should not need to clear history, cookies or anything.

Just testing iPad...
... yep, working for me.

For those on iPad, try the following:

Double click the home button (the round one)
You see the apps recently launched. Find Safari and push it to the top, it flies away.
Click home button to return to apps icons.
Open Safari, it should auto reload any browser tabs that were open.
If mumsnet is open and it does not show the envelope symbol next to MyMumsnet, then close that tab and open a new tab... now reopen mumsnet, try clicking I'm On as that will force the login prompt if you are not logged in.

Still here (scared to log out). But please, no solution that relies on me clearing all my cookies. If I lose my Ocado password there will never be any food in this house ever again

Oh, I got logged out sometime this evening - win7, IE - first time in ages, was amazed I remembered my password first time. I assumed it was related to having done a windows update earlier today, maybe that something to do with this SSL security breach had been patched or suchlike.

It's doing the same to me and what's with the new message when I tried to click on a thread in AIBU just now?

It's just done it again. Tried to move from active to threads I started and it knocked me out and I had to log back in.

I've now put a fix in for this. Would be interested to hear if you still have problems after one more login with the 'keep me logged in' checked now. Thanks everyone for your help.
