Did you ban John Hemming (the MP) for outing me ?

I am immaginging that the party whip we've been phoning, emailing and twittering has tied him up and run off with his keyboard.

Can I hang on to that fantasy, or did you ban him ?

It's not the end of the world to me that he posted my twitter account, knowing it was me and knowing it was my real name. But I will quickly drum up some minding if required to purge MN of his presence.

Yes! Somebody knows a deep dark secret about him (allegedly) but didn't post it.

And he is unlikely to win the next election becuase of boundery changes.

I know he took a -2.5% hit in the last election when the turnout shot up. Not sure how boundry changes would make a larger hit likely. But prepared to take poster at her word.... becuase it suits me to.

MN I seem to remember when AnyFucker was banned you mentioned her actions several times and explained why she had been banned - for a lot less than JH! I don't recall her outing other posters and breaking the law thus putting the site in jeopardy?

Umm....I also don't see about 15 threads titled 'Bring back JH', 'How dare MN ban JH', 'MN we're going to flounce en masse if you don't unban JH' and mass namechanges to 'LionHemmingintheSun', 'MadameJohnDefargeHemming', etc., in tribute to the poster who has fallen on his sword

Yes, quite different. I was trying to make that point (clearly not very well)! Agree that name change made me feel queasy although that could be that DD and I have cracked open the Quality Street

I think JH probably misread Mumsnet as LemmingNet, which is perhaps why he thought it would be an easy win entering into what I would loosely call 'debate' - does make you wonder how he is at all influential, well, anywhere really!
