mumsnet T-shirts?

Has this been suggested before? Do they already exist? If not,how about T-Shirts printed with the mumsnet logo? It would raise money for mumsnet and advertise the site at the same time.
I'd wear one, and I'd make my kids wear them too

it all started (she said sounding 72) on the how would you recognise a fellow Mner at the park thread

LadyCodworth · 17/02/2004 19:09

which is here

LadyCodworth · 17/02/2004 19:10

which must be one of the funnist thread s ever

GeorginaA · 17/02/2004 19:14

I want a mumsnet mug for my half-cold cups of tea when I get too involved in the boards

CountessDracula · 17/02/2004 19:19

I think mumsnet minge dye should be marketed

Kayleigh · 17/02/2004 19:40

I liked the idea of a badge. I'd be more likely to be wearing that more often than a t-shirt.
(she said, getting the thread back to a more serious tone)

survivour · 18/02/2004 03:55

I'll second that Kayleigh! CountessD!!!!! We will have to buy those little badge making kits. Now any suitable logos, colours? It has to be something weird of course. We are mumsnetters after all, BOLD and beautifull.............. So come on everyone. And no I have not slept yet. There is a reason for that I assure you... My sons heart op was a year ago today, and thank god we will be celebrating it tomorrow. Or should I say today!!!! I will be lurking on your posts later on today>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

All great suggestions - some more practical than others?!

Will have a pow wow at mumsnet HQ and see how/if we could organise this, but thanks as always for the suggestions

I would love one

Grommit · 20/04/2004 14:39

Badge is a great idea

Codswallop · 20/04/2004 14:43

mumsonline have a shop I have seen!

Janstar · 20/04/2004 14:52

I agree with Kayleigh - in fact I was just thinking to myself the other day what fun it would be to spot other mumsnetters while out because of their badges. Could be a fundraiser for mumsnet too.

Kayleigh · 20/04/2004 14:55

Janstar, I went to "that" playplace yesterday. The one where we met. And I was looking at all the mums wondering "Hmmm I wonder if she's a mumsnetter". Actually, I do that everywhere I go.

(Oh god, I'm sad)

lydialemon · 20/04/2004 15:07

Any chance of getting them out before our meet-up next week!? Otherwise it'll be balloons and buggys.

How about a badge in the shape of a T-shirt with mumsnet.com written on it ?

Sounds like Manchester to me, but you would have to roll one leg up and stick the other one in your socks. Finished off with Rockports of course and a stripey jumper.

justiner · 20/04/2004 15:29

Hi,
There's a website that will do all this for us - US based here - ie allow us to merchandise a range of products from t-shirts (including dog ones) to baby bibs to thongs! Sadly no badges that I can see as yet but stickers and mugs. Fairly simple and cheap to organize it seems. Just need some artwork. What do you think we should have as our logo? Winning idea gets a choice of mumsnet book or pictory!
