mumsnet T-shirts?

Has this been suggested before? Do they already exist? If not,how about T-Shirts printed with the mumsnet logo? It would raise money for mumsnet and advertise the site at the same time.
I'd wear one, and I'd make my kids wear them too

Ladies, ladies have no fear there will be mousemats, there will be mugs (ceramic and stainless steel), there will be almost anything you could care to think of from thongs to stickers to caps, not forgetting dog tees of course. The way it works is that we can have our logo on any of a huge range of stuff produced by these guys . We just need to get the artwork done and load it up... which we will do asap.
Sorry for not being clearer.

MadameButterfly · 05/05/2004 22:23

Oooh, I fancy a back pack for taking on meet-ups.

carla · 05/05/2004 22:23

Was that really OUR Justine??

carla · 05/05/2004 22:25

Mentioning thongs???

kiwisbird · 05/05/2004 22:27

if there are thongs there must be boy shorts for us more recalcitrant femmes..

lou33 · 05/05/2004 22:42

GUFFAW @ mumsnet thongs!

kiwisbird · 05/05/2004 22:52

can you imagine getting to a meet and baring your thong for authentic identity confirmation!
more guffawing

CountessDracula · 05/05/2004 23:07

OMG how exciting! Maybe I can leave boring computer job and be full time T-shirt slogan designer!

Can I just ask that you get the tenses right (ie my mum spends all day ... and all I get OR my mum spent all day... and all I got) or ks will be round my house with a big stick.....

What is a Pictory then? Never heard of one. Quite fancy the book but pictory may be more exciting, who can tell?

Justine (mumsnet) · 05/05/2004 23:24

Quite right CD thanks for that - we'd also hate to incur the wrath of ks . Check out the home page for more info on pictories.

CountessDracula · 05/05/2004 23:32

Oh thanks, no they are too old for my dd so will go for book, many thanks!

Janh · 05/05/2004 23:33

mumsnet big knickers for me, please.

Justine (mumsnet) · 06/05/2004 12:52

CD and Marina could you mail your address to [email protected] and tell us which book/ or pictory.
Thanks for the great suggestions.

Codswallop · 06/05/2004 12:54

LOLOL nochance of badges being ready for 15th's meet up?

Codswallop · 06/05/2004 12:54

cd does your dawg get a dog tee then?

Justine (mumsnet) · 06/05/2004 13:43

Will try our very best for 15th - esbee is researching but depends on how quick manufacturers could turn them around... to be honest I wouldn't hold your breath. Oh and Carla for your information I do already have a thong in my possession... and I think I even wore it once too.

BearintheBigBlueHous · 06/05/2004 13:47

Once you've set up your Cafepress shop, they generally turn things around on a same-day basis, but it does tend to take about 10 days for shipping from the states. HTH

mummysurfer · 06/05/2004 13:50

hope we'll see the prices in uk pounds, not like another , ahem, site.

Codswallop · 06/05/2004 13:51

WHAT ABOUT A HEN TEE?

CountessDracula · 06/05/2004 16:07

Oh will get the dog a T shirt if they make it in x.large!

Coddy what are you on about? Hen Tee?

Justine will mail you.

ghengis · 06/05/2004 16:47

A t-shirt for a hen?!!!

juniper68 · 06/05/2004 16:49

well in that case I want guinea pig tees

nikcola · 06/05/2004 18:00

can somebody answer a question for me please that cafepress website, when we have our mumsnet stuff on there will the prices be in pounds not dollars i dont think my little head can take trying to convert the currency myself

SoupDragon · 06/05/2004 18:14

I suspect it will be in dollars. This site is good for currency conversions.

Justine (mumsnet) · 06/05/2004 18:20

We've actually uncovered a uk site that does much the same thing (clever old Spacemonkey) here . Sadly no dog-ts but thongs and all in £s as well - so think they look the best bet...

Codswallop · 06/05/2004 18:45

no hen t either?
