mumsnet T-shirts?

Has this been suggested before? Do they already exist? If not,how about T-Shirts printed with the mumsnet logo? It would raise money for mumsnet and advertise the site at the same time.
I'd wear one, and I'd make my kids wear them too

I dont like some of hte ones on tathat site tho.. must be honest

Codswallop · 20/04/2004 18:24

mousemat. deffo

that would make for a lot of repeat orders as people would wear theirs out!

also baby change mat (portable one)

think that these goods are only as good as the art work though that has to be funky and modersn and not totally baby orientated

Codswallop · 20/04/2004 18:27

the dog t shirt is a must

SoupDragon · 20/04/2004 18:30

As I understand the site, they print whatever people order rather than MN just offering a few of the items. Whatever gets ordered by customers is then prodiced and sent out. If someone wants a MN thong, they can order one

I found a Mumsnet T-shirt in Primark - pink with a sparkly kitten and a palm tree and the word Aloha. Made me giggle (and buy it for dd1 - well it was only £2.50). No disrespect to aloha btw!

bundle · 20/04/2004 18:57

coddy, would yours have typos?

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 19:26

I like the idea of the "infant crawler" ie button under vest - it could say things like

"My mum ignores me for mumsnet"

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 19:26

"my mum only had me so she could join mumsnet"

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 19:26

"my mum spends 5 hours a day on mumsnet and all I get is this lousy vest"

lou33 · 20/04/2004 19:45

Am quoting Spacemonkey as she hasn't time to get on, but she thinks " I eat grapes in Sainsbury's" should be the slogan.

BearintheBigBlueHous · 20/04/2004 19:54

Hey - I have a webshop on the CafePress site and have got the infant crawler (popper vest), T shirt and bib for DS emblazoned with my very own design (it says "Poo Diddy" on the vest). It takes about 10 days to get delivered, but they're great. Adult Ts are generally good quality like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. I do sell thongs too, but only for grown ups and with a very understated design.

I'd be happy to design a shirt that looks like most of mine - mostly clean, unironed with a splodge of sick just out of reach over the shoulder and liberally pebble-dashed with orange mush that was sneezed back out at dinner time, but I don't think they'd sell....

WideWebWitch · 20/04/2004 22:11

I really t shirts that say ds, dd, dp etc. Will read the other posts now. And I love the idea of "my other vehicle's a McLaren/Graco etc" car stickers.

WideWebWitch · 20/04/2004 22:14

at these slogans, esp "my mum spends all day on mumsnet and all I get is this lousy vest"

allatsea · 20/04/2004 22:32

LOL CD

slug · 21/04/2004 10:52

A badge that says "You're eyeballing slug" then the mumsnet address at the bottom.

Seriously though, I was in the 'Schwimmy poo' (the sluglets phrase) yesterday and there were a whole load of pregnant women waiting for their antenatal class to start. I would loved to have had business cards with the mumsnet address on to hand out to them all.

Marina · 21/04/2004 11:00

I know that class Slug (have just recommended it to pregnant friend...she has already received Mums on Pregnancy AND Mums on Babies as presents...).
I really, really like Poo Diddy, BBBH! and CD's lousy vest design.
Or maybe something like I'm a Virtual Parent, Virtual Mother...but those aren't actually funny.

Kayleigh · 21/04/2004 11:02

Marina, I think "Virtual Mother" is very funny.
And so true

Codswallop · 21/04/2004 11:03

me too
