These threads are getting beyond tedious.

The mccann threads were limited to one thread, and it could have been said they belonged in different topics, news (well it was) parenting (re the rights and wrongs... etc and wider discussion) chat (ditto) and yet nobody made that case at the time. Benefits threads are no different and they are starting to give mn a really unpleasant feel, why not just rename it to benefits-r-us.com..

Gwan MNHQ - there's about 6 in In the News alone. Shouldn't ITN be limited to important threads like the possible break up of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, which will lead to me becoming the New Mrs Depp (+ DP. I may have to have my own male Harem).

I think this is a terrible misjudgement.

Vulnerable people are spilling personal information in a desperate attempt to make others understand. People are drawing battle lines between themselves and other posters. Reasonable posting has all but disappeared.
